About: For the past 16 years, I've had the privilege of caring for the beloved pets of my family and friends. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. My parents have two Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) dogs who require plenty of attention, exercise, and interaction. Whenever my parents travel—often for several weeks at a time—I stay in their home to care for them. During that time, I provide multiple daily walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. I also carefully follow their routine, including administering daily medications and any special care instructions. I also have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, reassuring environment. Additionally, I cared for a rescue dog with PTSD and, over time, earned their trust to the point where they felt comfortable approaching me for affection. Experiences like these have taught me the value of allowing animals to build trust at their own pace. Cats have been a part of my life for the past 16 years as well. I've cared for cats with a wide range of personalities, from playful kittens and affectionate cuddlers to independent cats and senior companions with special needs. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I helped clean, socialize, play with, and care for the cats to help them feel safe and comfortable while waiting for their forever homes. Whether I'm caring for dogs or cats, my goal is always the same: to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where every pet feels comfortable, cared for, and treated like family. As a full-time student with a flexible schedule, I'm able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including daytime visits, evening care, weekends, and many last-minute bookings. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet will be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I'm currently a full-time sonography student completing my clinical rotations. Before returning to school, I worked in the medical field, most recently at a cancer center, where I developed a strong commitment to providing compassionate, attentive care. Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am, and that same dedication extends to the animals I care for. For years, I've been the person family, friends, and neighbors rely on to care for their beloved pets. Whether it's walking dogs, checking in on cats, staying overnight, or helping out with last-minute requests, I genuinely enjoy making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Several people encouraged me to join Rover because of how often I already care for their furry family members. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to earn their trust while providing patient, dependable care.

About: Hi my name is Nina! I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life and over the last 2 years I’ve truly fallen in love with pet care. I am trustworthy, flexible and go above and beyond for your furry friend. Just as I would take care of my own! I’ve worked professionally as a pet sitter including drop ins, long walks and over two weeks at my clients home. Taking care of your home as much and I do your pet! I am a lover of all animals but more than that, I am comfortable with elderly dogs, dogs with special needs, medicated pups and those that are a bit anxious. About: My whole life I've grown up with dogs and other animals. I truly care about pets and their well being. I'm pursuing a degree in animal behavior and welfare. I also have watched family pets growing up. I'm currently without a job so I'm available to watch your animal(s) full-time, part-time, or over night if need be. I do live an apartment, but I have plenty of walking space outside, cat toys and trees for anyone with cats. I'm willing to work on a schedule if you need strict walking times or for feeding. I'm willing to train for free using reward-based training techniques and I'm willing to bathe for free if you'd like.

“With having a fairly new, adopted dog from a shelter, who is skittish around new people. But needing someone at that last minute, Sarah was available and did great job with the first meeting with Faith. Faith went to her immediately and wanted her attention, while sitting up wanting her attention and loving touch, like most dogs do. Sarah was great with Faith and we used her again the following week for a couple of check ins to take Faith out side, knowing she had class most of the day, when we had a last minute visit we needed to go to in Indianapolis. For our next trip, she will be the first to be contacted. She was very attentive to our wants and needs for Faith. We highly recommend her.”

About: I have grown up with cats and currently have a 6 year old German Shepard named Jamie :) My girlfriend also has 2 cats that I love to hang out with and help take care of! I have a full time job outside of Rover, but am often at home during the day: able to do dog walks or drop ins for your pets. I have full day availability on Saturdays. Treating your pet like my own. On walks I’ll always make sure they’re on a leash, while staying alert to my surroundings, and check in for cues about tiredness/energy levels while making sure they get their activity in! At home will make sure they get all of the attention and care they need.

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. For the past 3 years I’ve taken care of dogs for multiple families, stayed over to care for pets overnight, worked as a dog walker, and always love playing and meeting new pups. I have cared for multiple pets at once, am consistent with feeding and walking schedules, have cared for pets of all ages, and love to share updates and pictures of your pup. I am a graduate student based in Lake Bluff who loves animals! I have a car and a lot of morning and evening flexibility with some mid-day flexibility as well to feed, walk, or check in on pets. I am also available for overnight stays to ensure your pet is cared for overnight. Because of my flexible schedule, I am available for last minute bookings to help care for your pet in any way needed. I can’t wait to meet new furry friends! I feel comfortable staying in clients home if needed, dropping in to walk or feed pets, and crating pets if needed. I’ve had repeat clientele for whom I’ve cared for free roam and crated pets, dogs with special care needs, stayed overnight both short and long term, and worked as a dog walker. My own dog is a small, 18 lbs, friendly dog who loves to meet new friends. I have experience with my own and other pets and thus have a good understanding of animal body language, building trust, and understand that a good pet sitter should get to know your pet on their own terms. About: I have had pets my whole life. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 chickens. As a child we also had a hermit crab and guinea pigs. Pet care never stops at my house, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 chickens keep me busy! I have experience with guinea pigs and hermit crabs as well. About: I've spent over a decade volunteering and working with animals across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the Middle East — from cat shelters to training my own dog to service-dog level in obedience (sit, here, heel, center + more). My home is very clean, calm, and routine-based. Whether it's a dog who needs structure and adventure or a cat who needs a spotless litter box and quiet affection, I create a safe, happy, healthy environment and treat every pet like family, with daily photo updates. I’m currently a stay at home dog mom to a 4 month old puppy, I spend most of my time around the house. I also take the pup to the dog park / beach every day or every other day. I have a fenced in yard for my pup & I’ve worked her recall enough now that I don’t have to worry about her. She’s super trained inside and outside the house.

About: I have had the honor of having many furry best friends since childhood, such as my feisty cat, (Moning, RIP) and three guinea pigs (Mr. Wheeks, Oreo, and Bella, RIP.) I also have a long history of taking care of my friends' fur children, both cats and dogs alike. I am a medical student who is currently on summer break and am hoping to fill my days with your bundles of joy! I am a medical student on summer break so my availability for the summer is generally wide open! I am available for regularly scheduled walks or drop-in's for the duration of the summer. My goal is to not just be a person who walks your dog, but be you and your dogs' friend! Your pets safety, as well as mines and your own, are my top priority. When performing drop-in visits or walks, I will make sure to immediately tend to your pets while keeping alert of the environment around me. In terms of drop-in visits, I will make sure to have your house key/code on my persons at all times and will make sure to ensure that everything was as it was left and make sure that when I leave, doors/gates are locked and secured.

About: Hi! I am a Senior at Lake Forest College studying Psychology on a pre-nursing track. I grew up in Boise, Idaho surrounded by animals, both my own and others’. Growing up I had a high-energy dog, many hamsters, a leopard gecko, and a cat. I also spent my entire high school career volunteering at my local humane society, working with both dogs and cats. This has given me experience with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. Currently, I dog and cat sit regularly for a few families. You can trust me with your pets like they are my own. I have a passion for the outdoors and am an athlete, so I love any excuse to get some exercise. I also love reading, knitting, watching shows, and studying. About: Hi! My name is Ramona. I grew up in Clinton, Oklahoma, and my first job was on an alpaca farm while I was in high school, where I fed them three times a week. I graduated from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma, in May 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a minor in foreign languages. Feel free to ask me anything!
