About: Hi! I’m Jillian, Im home from college and looking forward to taking care of your pet! I grew up around dogs, specifically large and working breeds. I’ve taken care of puppies and senior dogs, and I’m capable of dispensing medications, cleaning up messes, and reinforcing any training you’re implementing! I’m good at following directions and a quick learner, so feel free to throw anything my way! Im currently working part time, meaning I can pop in and check up on your animals whenever! I have always believed that an animals’ needs and preferences come before my own when I am watching them. Whether that means hanging out around the house or taking them on an adventure, I love to do whatever your animal loves to do. I have a lot of experience working with large breeds, escape prone dogs, and puppies, which makes me very vigilant and comfortable with all kinds of dogs! I will do anything to take care of your pup. In terms of cats, I’ve taken care of 10 different cats, all with different temperaments and schedules. Whether your kitty is shy or extremely playful, I love getting to know animals and working with their boundaries to suit their needs!

About: Hi! I am a Senior at Lake Forest College studying Psychology on a pre-nursing track. I grew up in Boise, Idaho surrounded by animals, both my own and others’. I have a passion for the outdoors and am an athlete, so I love any excuse to get some exercise. I also love reading, knitting, watching shows, and studying. So, I can watch your furry friend(s) in any way they’d like! I’m hoping to make some money to pay my bills and go to nursing school next year :) Growing up I had a high-energy dog, many hamsters, a leopard gecko, and a cat. I also spent my entire high school career volunteering at my local humane society, working with both dogs and cats. This has given me experience with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. Currently, I dog and cat sit regularly for a few families. You can trust me with your pets like they are my own. About: I have grown up with cats and currently have a 6 year old German Shepard named Jamie :) My girlfriend also has 2 cats that I love to hang out with and help take care of! I have a full time job outside of Rover, but am often at home during the day: able to do dog walks or drop ins for your pets. I have full day availability on Saturdays. Treating your pet like my own. On walks I’ll always make sure they’re on a leash, while staying alert to my surroundings, and check in for cues about tiredness/energy levels while making sure they get their activity in! At home will make sure they get all of the attention and care they need.

About: For the past 16 years, I've had the privilege of caring for the beloved pets of my family and friends. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. My parents have two Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) dogs who require plenty of attention, exercise, and interaction. Whenever my parents travel—often for several weeks at a time—I stay in their home to care for them. During that time, I provide multiple daily walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. I also carefully follow their routine, including administering daily medications and any special care instructions. I also have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, reassuring environment. Additionally, I cared for a rescue dog with PTSD and, over time, earned their trust to the point where they felt comfortable approaching me for affection. Experiences like these have taught me the value of allowing animals to build trust at their own pace. Cats have been a part of my life for the past 16 years as well. I've cared for cats with a wide range of personalities, from playful kittens and affectionate cuddlers to independent cats and senior companions with special needs. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I helped clean, socialize, play with, and care for the cats to help them feel safe and comfortable while waiting for their forever homes. Whether I'm caring for dogs or cats, my goal is always the same: to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where every pet feels comfortable, cared for, and treated like family. As a full-time student with a flexible schedule, I'm able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including daytime visits, evening care, weekends, and many last-minute bookings. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet will be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I'm currently a full-time sonography student completing my clinical rotations. Before returning to school, I worked in the medical field, most recently at a cancer center, where I developed a strong commitment to providing compassionate, attentive care. Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am, and that same dedication extends to the animals I care for. For years, I've been the person family, friends, and neighbors rely on to care for their beloved pets. Whether it's walking dogs, checking in on cats, staying overnight, or helping out with last-minute requests, I genuinely enjoy making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Several people encouraged me to join Rover because of how often I already care for their furry family members. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to earn their trust while providing patient, dependable care.

About: I have had the honor of having many furry best friends since childhood, such as my feisty cat, (Moning, RIP) and three guinea pigs (Mr. Wheeks, Oreo, and Bella, RIP.) I also have a long history of taking care of my friends' fur children, both cats and dogs alike. I am a medical student who is currently on summer break and am hoping to fill my days with your bundles of joy! I am a medical student on summer break so my availability for the summer is generally wide open! I am available for regularly scheduled walks or drop-in's for the duration of the summer. My goal is to not just be a person who walks your dog, but be you and your dogs' friend! Your pets safety, as well as mines and your own, are my top priority. When performing drop-in visits or walks, I will make sure to immediately tend to your pets while keeping alert of the environment around me. In terms of drop-in visits, I will make sure to have your house key/code on my persons at all times and will make sure to ensure that everything was as it was left and make sure that when I leave, doors/gates are locked and secured.

About: I have been caring for dogs almost as long as I have been alive! I am available in the afternoons during the week, and anytime on the weekends. I can care for your dog as little as a short home visit, or a nice outing at the park. Your dog’s safety is a MUST in my book and always my first priority. Anything that could possibly put your dog in harms-way will not be tolerated. When it comes to long stays away from your dog, I highly encourage communication in any shape or form. But needing someone at that last minute, Sarah was available and did great job with the first meeting with Faith. Faith went to her immediately and wanted her attention, while sitting up wanting her attention and loving touch, like most dogs do. Sarah was great with Faith and we used her again the following week for a couple of check ins to take Faith out side, knowing she had class most of the day, when we had a last minute visit we needed to go to in Indianapolis. For our next trip, she will be the first to be contacted. She was very attentive to our wants and needs for Faith. We highly recommend her.”

I perform a 'gear check' before we leave the house to ensure collars and leashes are secure. I stick to familiar, safe routes and am always mindful of the environment—keeping an eye out for other dogs, traffic, or unsafe debris on the sidewalk. I am also happy to follow any specific training commands you use to keep your dog's routine consistent. +For cat visits, I focus on maintaining a low-stress environment. I am extremely careful when entering and exiting to ensure your cat doesn't slip out the door. I respect their space, letting them approach me at their own pace. If your cat requires a special diet or medication, I double-check instructions to ensure feedings are administered exactly as requested.
