About: Hi, I’m Christine! I’ve been a devoted pet parent for over 30 years, and my love for animals is truly at the heart of everything I do. From playful pups to curious cats and every animal in between, I believe each furry (or feathery!) friend deserves love, care, and a whole lot of fun. I currently have an 8 year old Plott Hound who is recovering from her second TPLO surgery. I spend devoted time with her every day completing her physical therapy exercises and doing all I can to optimize her recovery and golden years ahead. She has been a major part of my life and we have had lots of adventures together! She has road-tripped with me to 21 different states and lived for 6 years in the high desert mountains of AZ. I pride myself on being patient, flexible, and truly attentive to every animal’s individual needs. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll or a playful adventure, I can’t wait to be a part of your pet’s journey! I am a certified wellness instructor and make my own client schedule- so- I have lots of flexibility and can work with most client’s individual needs. I am flexible and adaptive to each individual pet’s needs and environment. I love walking and am happy to give extra time to take in the sniffs- or enjoy a snuggle!

About: I’ve been taking care of pets (dogs and cats) since I was in middle school. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and helped puppy-sit dogs through the Canine Companions collegiate chapter at my university! I am also comfortable with any size pet, I’ve cared for puppies and kittens all the way up to Great Danes! I’m currently a student, but I have a lot of availability. My class load is light and I’m not on campus much so I have very flexible availability! I am good at following whatever instructions left for me relating to any of the pets’ needs. I have taken care of animals before for other as well as my own pets so I’ll make sure they’re treated well and get lots of love and care!

About: I have had the honor of having many furry best friends since childhood, such as my feisty cat, (Moning, RIP) and three guinea pigs (Mr. Wheeks, Oreo, and Bella, RIP.) I also have a long history of taking care of my friends' fur children, both cats and dogs alike. I am a medical student who is currently on summer break and am hoping to fill my days with your bundles of joy! I am a medical student on summer break so my availability for the summer is generally wide open! I am available for regularly scheduled walks or drop-in's for the duration of the summer. My goal is to not just be a person who walks your dog, but be you and your dogs' friend! Your pets safety, as well as mines and your own, are my top priority. When performing drop-in visits or walks, I will make sure to immediately tend to your pets while keeping alert of the environment around me. In terms of drop-in visits, I will make sure to have your house key/code on my persons at all times and will make sure to ensure that everything was as it was left and make sure that when I leave, doors/gates are locked and secured.

About: I had 2 dogs growing up, and helped my parents take care of them. My parents were busy most days, so I was the one who would take them for walks. My dog recently got his teeth removed, so I also learned how to take care of him and how to feed him properly with that in mind. I’ve also had to take care of both dogs when my parents are out of town, taking them outside, administering medication, and feeding and providing water for them. I have done the same for my grandparents. I love animals a lot, and I volunteered at animal shelters in high school and can properly care for and clean up after many pets.. I’m currently taking all of my classes online, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I can be available at any needed times, both weekdays and weekends. I will provide food and water according to instructions. I will keep a clean, safe, and loving environment, and ensure that they get time to play and exercise regularly. I’m great at following instructions, and I am very attentive to any special requests that are given by the owner.

About: Hi! I’m Jillian, Im home from college and looking forward to taking care of your pet! I grew up around dogs, specifically large and working breeds. I’ve taken care of puppies and senior dogs, and I’m capable of dispensing medications, cleaning up messes, and reinforcing any training you’re implementing! I’m good at following directions and a quick learner, so feel free to throw anything my way! Im currently working part time, meaning I can pop in and check up on your animals whenever! I have always believed that an animals’ needs and preferences come before my own when I am watching them. Whether that means hanging out around the house or taking them on an adventure, I love to do whatever your animal loves to do. I have a lot of experience working with large breeds, escape prone dogs, and puppies, which makes me very vigilant and comfortable with all kinds of dogs! I will do anything to take care of your pup. In terms of cats, I’ve taken care of 10 different cats, all with different temperaments and schedules. Whether your kitty is shy or extremely playful, I love getting to know animals and working with their boundaries to suit their needs!

About: For the past 16 years, I've had the privilege of caring for the beloved pets of my family and friends. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. My parents have two Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) dogs who require plenty of attention, exercise, and interaction. Whenever my parents travel—often for several weeks at a time—I stay in their home to care for them. During that time, I provide multiple daily walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. I also carefully follow their routine, including administering daily medications and any special care instructions. I also have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, reassuring environment. Additionally, I cared for a rescue dog with PTSD and, over time, earned their trust to the point where they felt comfortable approaching me for affection. Experiences like these have taught me the value of allowing animals to build trust at their own pace. Cats have been a part of my life for the past 16 years as well. I've cared for cats with a wide range of personalities, from playful kittens and affectionate cuddlers to independent cats and senior companions with special needs. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I helped clean, socialize, play with, and care for the cats to help them feel safe and comfortable while waiting for their forever homes. Whether I'm caring for dogs or cats, my goal is always the same: to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where every pet feels comfortable, cared for, and treated like family. As a full-time student with a flexible schedule, I'm able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including daytime visits, evening care, weekends, and many last-minute bookings. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet will be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I'm currently a full-time sonography student completing my clinical rotations. Before returning to school, I worked in the medical field, most recently at a cancer center, where I developed a strong commitment to providing compassionate, attentive care. Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am, and that same dedication extends to the animals I care for. For years, I've been the person family, friends, and neighbors rely on to care for their beloved pets. Whether it's walking dogs, checking in on cats, staying overnight, or helping out with last-minute requests, I genuinely enjoy making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. About: I have had dogs my entire life. I have been the go to for friends and family members when they travel because I have had such a flexible schedule during my career. I am now retired so I can spoil your fur baby 24/7. I have experience with my "nephew" a very large male german shepard all the way down to my soul dog, 8 lb Ellie Mae and everything in between. Multiple dogs is not an issue either. I have watched up to three dogs all with different schedules and needs. I will also leave your house as clean if not cleaner than when you left. I would consider it an honor for you to trust me with both. I have been retired for five years which means I will only be focusing on your dogs happiness and safety. I have been busy on the trusted housesitters site for over a year and have travelled the US visiting friends and family and falling in love with many dogs and taking care of some great homes. I have plenty of references available for you as I transition to this platform. I currently don't have any animals so I'm able to give yours my undivided attention I will take your lead, and the dogs, as to what you require. I love to walk for miles, I love to be outdoors and play fetch and I also appreciate a good chill on the couch. If you dog likes to ride in the car we can go get a pup cup and stick our head out the window. Whatever rules, requirements or special needs your fur baby requires I am able to provide. I will never be gone more that four hours at an absolute maximum and that would be a rarity just depending if I am in a new area and want to explore a little. If it is local to this Chicago/Northern IL area been there/done that.

About: I have a degree in animal behavior and I’m at home all day long so I am able to provide constant care and attention as well as administer any medication/meet any feeding requirements. Stay at home mom so I am able to give the best care whenever they require/want it! Goes on frequent walks and to dog park daily I have a fenced in patio and baby gates in house as well as my dogs are kennel trained if any dogs need to eat separately and to provide good one on one time

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 including my hound and lab for the last 9 years. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and use dog walks as exercise. I’m flexible, patient and detail-oriented. I’m attending graduate school in the fall and spring with lots of availability in the summer. During the school year, my schedule varies but most of my evenings are free. “Deidre was AMAZING with my with two pups and can’t RECOMMEND her enough! Unfortunately, one of my dogs became very ill before I left for vacation and required extensive, round the clock care. Deirdre was able to administer all of the medications, stick to the strict food regimen, come by every 2 hours to check in, and even cleaned up all of the accidents from my sick pup. :/ She kept me updated throughout the trip with texts and pictures, asked questions when needed, and when my other dog sitter fell through at last minute, she was able to rearrange her schedule to cover. Overall, I am very grateful for her help and it truly put my mind at ease knowing Deirdre could be there to take care of them! Thank you again!”
