About: I grew up with a dog and loved him very much. He passed away, and the family has not yet gotten another, but I miss caring for a dog. I love all dogs and cats of any size and any animal, for that matter. I am incredibly attentive to animals and always love giving them care, even when they are not mine. I am almost always home and able to pet sit through the day and overnight. I am currently in college, but taking classes online, so I am constantly available to tend to your pet's needs. I am a very active person who can take your pet on walks or runs more than once each day if need be. If your pet enjoys resting, I will also do it with them as I complete work on my computer and will pay close attention to them or snuggle with them if it's what they like. I will care for each pet depending on their specific needs, whether they need to have walks, use the bathroom often, or receive personal care. My home is very safe for pets, as it was already set up for a dog in the past with carpeted stairs and a yard to play in. The yard has a fence around part of it, but it is still open, so if I take your pet outside to play, I will use a leash and keep them in the yard safely separated from any danger. The only other person living in the home will be my mother, who is also an animal lover, but is generally at work during weekdays.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I have pet sit for neighbors, friends, and family. I truly love all animals! I am at teacher who is currently off for the summer. About: I've had my own dog since he was six, and now he's 14. From his puppy-like stage to being almost 90 in human years, I've taken care of him in aall types of physicality. He was my first dog, but I took care of my friends' and neighbors' dogs since around 6th grade. I've taught him everything from shaking my hand, to weaving through my legs. My current job requires me to come in on an as-needed basis, typically on weekends, but only from 9-3. I have all the time in the world! My yard is not fenced, but we do have a long leash/rope that we keep our dog on when outside (he runs through invisible dog fences). My dog doesn't eat shoes and won't go on furniture unless allowed, so at night he just sleeps in a dog bed. I have worked with crate-trained dogs and always do my best to maintain the pet's daily lifestyle.

About: My name is Veronique, I am a board certified Animal Care Specialist and Groomer. I am a nature kind of person who believes in giving my pets a life of adventure outdoors. Winter months I only go for shorter walks depending on the temperature. . My focus is for their well-being, mental stimulation as well as physical stimulation. About: We’re newer in Gurnee and experienced with different dogs, cats, chickens, and even horses. I’m currently focusing on cat sitting, but also available for dog walking and other drop ins. For drop in visits/walks: I’m used to walking 6-10 miles per day, I’d love to take your dog with me sometimes! We can go as long or as short as you desire. I follow local laws and will always clean up after your pet and keep them leashes/safe. I’m a bit nervous about new people in my home too! I understand you might have questions/boundaries and would be happy to discuss with you anytime. Drop in visits are purely pet focused: are they safe, fed, cared for, and happy. I work from home and can be fairly flexible in my schedule with only a few hours in a given day that are blocked. I have lots of notice if my schedule changes.
