About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 5 years old. I have experience with dogs ranging from 6 pounds to 102 pounds. I have taken care of sick dogs as well as large dogs that have trouble walking. I genuinely love and care for every dog I encounter. I have availability throughout the week from the morning to the afternoon (Mon-fri). I am happy to do up to 5 walks a day. I cannot work weekends. I’m very aware when opening a door to not let the dogs escape. I understand that some dogs don’t enjoy their crate and have learned tricks to getting them to enter. I keep a strong grip on the leash in case of a squirrel encounter.

About: I grew up with a dog and loved him very much. He passed away, and the family has not yet gotten another, but I miss caring for a dog. I love all dogs and cats of any size and any animal, for that matter. I am incredibly attentive to animals and always love giving them care, even when they are not mine. I am almost always home and able to pet sit through the day and overnight. I am currently in college, but taking classes online, so I am constantly available to tend to your pet's needs. I am a very active person who can take your pet on walks or runs more than once each day if need be. If your pet enjoys resting, I will also do it with them as I complete work on my computer and will pay close attention to them or snuggle with them if it's what they like. I will care for each pet depending on their specific needs, whether they need to have walks, use the bathroom often, or receive personal care. My home is very safe for pets, as it was already set up for a dog in the past with carpeted stairs and a yard to play in. The yard has a fence around part of it, but it is still open, so if I take your pet outside to play, I will use a leash and keep them in the yard safely separated from any danger. The only other person living in the home will be my mother, who is also an animal lover, but is generally at work during weekdays.

About: I've had my own dog since he was six, and now he's 14. From his puppy-like stage to being almost 90 in human years, I've taken care of him in all types of physicality. He was my first dog, but I took care of my friends' and neighbors' dogs since around 6th grade. I've taught him everything from shaking my hand, to weaving through my legs. My current job requires me to come in on an as-needed basis, typically on weekends, but only from 9-3. I have all the time in the world! My yard is not fenced, but we do have a long leash/rope that we keep our dog on when outside (he runs through invisible dog fences). My dog doesn't eat shoes and won't go on furniture unless allowed, so at night he just sleeps in a dog bed. I have worked with crate-trained dogs and always do my best to maintain the pet's daily lifestyle.

“Hannah is an amazing full-time dog caregiver! She can handle anything and her schedule allows her to be super flexible with her clients. Our pup started an antibiotic 3 days before our trip, and she was able to take him, administer all the meds and keep him sequestered until he was no longer a health hazard. In addition, our flight was canceled and she kept C for an extra day at the same rate. We are confident in her abilities and her love for our dog.”

“Matt was very good with our dog. He is near the Great Lakes Naval Base and is experienced with dog foster care. He has a small fenced yard and let our dog socialize with his three dogs. Our small terrier easily assimilated as a member of the family. 5 stars.”

“Halie and her family looked after our puppy with love and patience. They didn’t mind we’re still potty training, chewing what we shouldn’t and struggling with separation anxiety. “We were really happy with our decision to have Monica care for our two dogs during a weekend away. She was super responsive, flexible, and accommodating and it was obvious she loves animals and took very good care of them. Very flexible -- (wasn't sure when, exactly, I would complete my 1000 mile drive, and drop off my goober dog). Benny was instantly comfortable with Kelsey even though we hadn't had time for a meet and greet. Kelsey kept me in touch with how he was doing in general, and checked in with me when she detected a brief limp. REALLY STELLAR experience -- cannot recommend highly enough.”
“Five very waggy stars for Meghan (and her sweet pup, Ralphie)! Meghan is absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that she is a true dog lover with tons of experience, and she knew exactly how to make our dog feel safe, happy, and completely at home. Our dog was treated like a member of her family and had the time of his life playing with Ralphie and the other dogs. The adorable photos and videos gave us so much peace of mind while we were away...and honestly, I think he was a little sad to come home, which is probably the highest compliment a dog can give. We will absolutely book again. Weekend at Ralphie’s is officially dog-approved!”
