About: Aside from having my own personal dogs in home most of my life I have been volunteering working with and training rescues for 2 years now. Two hours in the Morning, two hours around lunch and all evenings are all free to care for the pets. Walks, fetch and training all available. If dogs are kid and animal friendly I will be able to give them lots of socialization in those environments plus lots of outdoor activity. Have experience working with dogs that don’t interact with other dogs very well.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 5 years old. I have experience with dogs ranging from 6 pounds to 102 pounds. I have taken care of sick dogs as well as large dogs that have trouble walking. I genuinely love and care for every dog I encounter. I have availability throughout the week from the morning to the afternoon (Mon-fri). I am happy to do up to 5 walks a day. I cannot work weekends. I’m very aware when opening a door to not let the dogs escape. I understand that some dogs don’t enjoy their crate and have learned tricks to getting them to enter. I keep a strong grip on the leash in case of a squirrel encounter.

About: I've loved cats ever since I met my friend's two cats in, I think, kindergarten. Many of my friends have cats from siamese, to ragdoll, to typical tabbies, annd I've looked over them on many family vacations. About: I have had pets since I was 1 years old - whatever my parents let me get away with (dog, cats, fish, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs). As an adult I continue to own cats and dogs and currently own 2 cats. I will treat your pet as a member of my family while in my care. I nursed my cat to health from losing a kidney and he lived till he was 17yo. I nursed my geriatric dog with eye disease, arthritis until he was 14.5yo. I am more experienced with adult and geriatric pets than babies but welcome all. I am currently unemployed and seeking supplemental income. I'm also healing from CIRS/Lyme and need a walking partner to improve my health! My schedule is flexible although I do often have evening commitments with my son and his activities. Emmy Bowser and Felix are very friendly and haven’t met a dog they don’t love. I also have a two year old daughter who loves dogs, but your dog must be good with young children. About: I grew up with a dog and loved him very much. He passed away, and the family has not yet gotten another, but I miss caring for a dog. I love all dogs and cats of any size and any animal, for that matter. I am incredibly attentive to animals and always love giving them care, even when they are not mine. I am almost always home and able to pet sit through the day and overnight. I am currently in college, but taking classes online, so I am constantly available to tend to your pet's needs. I am a very active person who can take your pet on walks or runs more than once each day if need be. If your pet enjoys resting, I will also do it with them as I complete work on my computer and will pay close attention to them or snuggle with them if it's what they like. I will care for each pet depending on their specific needs, whether they need to have walks, use the bathroom often, or receive personal care. My home is very safe for pets, as it was already set up for a dog in the past with carpeted stairs and a yard to play in. The yard has a fence around part of it, but it is still open, so if I take your pet outside to play, I will use a leash and keep them in the yard safely separated from any danger. The only other person living in the home will be my mother, who is also an animal lover, but is generally at work during weekdays.

About: I've had my own dog since he was six, and now he's 14. From his puppy-like stage to being almost 90 in human years, I've taken care of him in aall types of physicality. He was my first dog, but I took care of my friends' and neighbors' dogs since around 6th grade. I've taught him everything from shaking my hand, to weaving through my legs. My current job requires me to come in on an as-needed basis, typically on weekends, but only from 9-3. I have all the time in the world! My yard is not fenced, but we do have a long leash/rope that we keep our dog on when outside (he runs through invisible dog fences). My dog doesn't eat shoes and won't go on furniture unless allowed, so at night he just sleeps in a dog bed. I have worked with crate-trained dogs and always do my best to maintain the pet's daily lifestyle.

Deirdre was able to administer all of the medications, stick to the strict food regimen, come by every 2 hours to check in, and even cleaned up all of the accidents from my sick pup. :/ She kept me updated throughout the trip with texts and pictures, asked questions when needed, and when my other dog sitter fell through at last minute, she was able to rearrange her schedule to cover. About: Aside from having my own personal dogs in home most of my life I have been volunteering working with and training rescues for 2 years now. Two hours in the Morning, two hours around lunch and all evenings are all free to care for the pets. Walks, fetch and training all available. If dogs are kid and animal friendly I will be able to give them lots of socialization in those environments plus lots of outdoor activity. Have experience working with dogs that don’t interact with other dogs very well.

I was a bit concerned that the fence was fairly short given that we have a lab, but she assured us she keeps the dogs on a leash whenever they’re in the yard.
