Chisato was great at sending updates, pictures, videos - I could tell he was very well cared for. Will definitely be a repeat customer, assuming schedules on both sides allow for it!”

“Our Teddy had a great time with Jacob and his dog Murphy! It was our first time to board our dog and I was very worried being gone for a long time and hike it would affect him. Jacob is very experienced and took good care of Teddy and sent pics and videos. I could enjoy our vacation knowing he was being well cared for, safe, and getting stimulation. He came home unphased by our absence and in good spirits. I would recommend Jacob!!”

Dee was very responsive to messages when we replied and we will be booking again for future trips if she is available!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 5 years old. I have experience with dogs ranging from 6 pounds to 102 pounds. I have taken care of sick dogs as well as large dogs that have trouble walking. I genuinely love and care for every dog I encounter. I have availability throughout the week from the morning to the afternoon (Mon-fri). I am happy to do up to 5 walks a day. I cannot work weekends. I’m very aware when opening a door to not let the dogs escape. I understand that some dogs don’t enjoy their crate and have learned tricks to getting them to enter. I keep a strong grip on the leash in case of a squirrel encounter.
“Elizabeth did a great job watching my two little cats! She’s friendly and attentive and left my place tidy. I felt like my cats got plenty of love while I was gone, which was comforting to me, and she sent me plenty of updates!”

About: I have taken care of cats for about a year before. I am allergic slightly so I don’t keep one in the house regularly but for sitting purposes I am ok. I have a dog in the house who loves other animals including cats.

About: I have had pets since I was 1 years old - whatever my parents let me get away with (dog, cats, fish, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs). As an adult I continue to own cats and dogs and currently own 2 cats. I will treat your pet as a member of my family while in my care. I nursed my cat to health from losing a kidney and he lived till he was 17yo. I nursed my geriatric dog with eye disease, arthritis until he was 14.5yo. I am more experienced with adult and geriatric pets than babies but welcome all. I am seeking supplemental income due to healthcare expenses. I'm also healing from CIRS/Lyme and need a walking partner to improve my health! My schedule is flexible although I do often have evening commitments with my son and his activities. My yard is large and fenced in. I live next to several walking trails and have a quiet neighborhood. I live close to a dog park and dog beach. I am familiar with crate training and administering medications.
About: As an experienced, full time dog sitter, I'm here to provide your small to medium sized dog a safe, clean, & cozy home environment. If your dog is not comfortable in a kennel, I'm your answer. As a former paraprofessional for children with special needs, and a mom, I have the experience and loving heart to meet your dog's emotional and structural needs. BOARDING: The core of my business is overnight sitting in my smoke-free home environment. Your dog will get my love and attention all day and through the night. No crating unless you request it. Protected mealtimes, proper rest, and outdoor time in my fenced in backyard. Whether your dog sleeps in a crate, a floor bed, or in my bed, I am there with your dog all night long. My mission is to keep your dog happy and healthy, and give owners peace of mind. You will receive photos and updates by text messaging throughout your dog's stay. Check out my photo gallery! Resident dog, Hawkeye, is a "Teddy Bear", (mix of Shih Tzu, Bichon Frise, and Poodle). He does not shed, and is hypoallergenic. His personality is calm and relaxed, except when the garbage trucks come by. 😉 DAYCARE: Offered only as needed for existing customers. CHECK-IN SERVICES: If you have a larger dog or cats, I can stop by to let your dogs outside, provide food and water, & clean litter boxes. On an as needed basis only, not full time. ABOUT ME: I love getting to know and care for guest dogs, and have been living with and learning about dogs for over 8 years as an owner, and over 7 years as a host. A love for dogs (and all animals) is so natural, enjoyable, and rewarding for me. My approach with dogs is based on the philosophy of Temple Grandin's “Animals in Translation” research to fulfill a dog's emotional needs first. Prior to this, for 5 years, I was a paraprofessional with the Special Education District of Lake County (SEDOL). I have experience in ABA therapy for children with autism, positive reinforcement, crisis management, and classroom management. Pet care IS my daily routine. Your pet will settle in quickly as she/he always has a person to depend on, and my friendly dog keeping watch over her/him. Your dog will enjoy outdoor freedom, fresh cold filtered water, protected meal times, comfy beds and furniture for lounging, and a nice lady who cares as much about your peace of mind as she does about your precious pet. A safe environment is a must, that’s why I have a fenced in yard, and a three door system for entering and leaving the house. I keep a clean house too.
“Pat took great care of my dog. She has a lot of experience and really cares about animals. This was my dog's first time with Pat and he seemed to have enjoyed himself (even though he was a little uneasy with an unfamiliar environment). I definitely recommend Pat to care for your fur babies.”

“Swagata was absolutely amazing in accommodating a last-minute request. I reached out to her late at night due to an urgent appointment the following morning, and she graciously accepted without hesitation. I already knew Tommy was in good hands since he had a great experience with her previously. Throughout the time, Swagata kept me updated with pictures and messages, which gave me complete peace of mind. Her warmth and attentiveness truly show how much she cares for pets. Tommy was happy and relaxed, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and loving pet care. I’ll definitely be revisiting!”

About: Hi I'm Taylor! I have been around dogs my whole life! I live in a house with a huge fenced in yard. My puppies (Emmy, Bowser and Felix) and I are willing to bring love, attention, and play to your fur baby. We have several parks nearby that we walk to and play on a daily basis. I work from home during the weekday, so will be home throughout the day to care for your dog or cat. Your pet will be in good hands under my care. Emmy Bowser and Felix are very friendly and haven’t met a dog they don’t love. I also have a two year old daughter who loves dogs, but your dog must be good with young children. I work from home so I can easily let your dog out for potty breaks throughout the day and take them for walks on a break I have a fenced in yard and a crate if needed. My dogs sleep in the bed with me so that’s fine if that is what your dog is used to
“This was the first time Belle and Lucy stayed with Jean and they had a blast! She took such good care of my babies that I didn’t have to worry about them at all! We are glad to have found her and hope to use her services again in the future. Highly recommended.”

“Deidre was fantastic! Will definitely use again when we’re in town next! At drop off, my dogs were comfortable with her right away and at pick up my dogs came home tired and happy! Thank you!”

“Juliana was able to accommodate my last minute request for dog sitting in her home. She was prepared with water bowl and pee pads in case Axl had to pee (it was raining outside). Axl had just had surgery and she took great care of him for a few hours. Thank you, Juliana!”

About: I have had dogs my entire life and love them so much! I have experience with puppies as well as our senior friends. Walks and playtime are my specialty! I work at home and am able to take great care of your pup. I have a yard and am close to a park for plenty of outside time. I can adjust to the routine your dog is used to. I am very flexible. I take one client at a time so my whole focus will be on your dog. Just let me know your needs.
“We’re so glad we found Nicole when we needed last-minute care for our pup — she was fantastic. Our dog warmed up to her instantly, had a great day, and the happy updates she sent throughout kept us from worrying. We’d definitely book her again!”

About: I grew up with a dog and loved him very much. He passed away, and the family has not yet gotten another, but I miss caring for a dog. I love all dogs and cats of any size and any animal, for that matter. I am incredibly attentive to animals and always love giving them care, even when they are not mine. I am almost always home and able to pet sit through the day and overnight. I am currently in college, but taking classes online, so I am constantly available to tend to your pet's needs. I am a very active person who can take your pet on walks or runs more than once each day if need be. If your pet enjoys resting, I will also do it with them as I complete work on my computer and will pay close attention to them or snuggle with them if it's what they like. I will care for each pet depending on their specific needs, whether they need to have walks, use the bathroom often, or receive personal care. My home is very safe for pets, as it was already set up for a dog in the past with carpeted stairs and a yard to play in. The yard has a fence around part of it, but it is still open, so if I take your pet outside to play, I will use a leash and keep them in the yard safely separated from any danger. The only other person living in the home will be my mother, who is also an animal lover, but is generally at work during weekdays.

“Thank you Dee for wonderful care you provided to Nikita while we were gone. I felt confident and calm that you would take great care of her! I would love to keep in touch and use your services in the future. I also highly recommend your services to others, especially to highly worrisome and demanding pet owners:)))”

“Julie was great! Her home is very dog friendly. She catered to Bitsy by letting her sleep on her lap. And, she sent adorable pictures throughout the day. Highly recommend!”
“Byron was very responsive and great at easing Bear's separation anxiety after I dropped him off. Bear even ate his dinner, which he rarely does at a new place. Will definitely use again!”

“This was our first time using Rover and a sitter and we were very pleased with the service Megan provided. She kept in touch with us throughout the day and sent us pics. She is very responsive and we will definitely use Megan again. Thank you!!”

“Wendy was very dear and took great care of Schatzi during the days while I visited nearby sites during my stay in the Bronx. I would never have been able go to Botanical Gardens and Zoo and museums without her help with my mini dachsie. Wendy has a mini dachsie and the two greeted each other very amicably on first meet. "We loved having her (Schatzi)."”

“Sheryl is amazing!!! We have a 90 lb lab, and she handled him beautifully! Browser had such an instant positive reaction to Sheryl that we knew she was the right person. Sheryl came same day with almost no notice - I had just gotten out of the hospital and needed someone to walk Browser. She is used to handling large dogs and it showed. Great communication skills, very personable. We will definitely continue to use Sheryl - what a great find!!”

I am also comfortable with any size pet, I’ve cared for puppies and kittens all the way up to Great Danes! I’m currently a student, but I have a lot of availability. “Matthew was on time , polite and very friendly with my dog. He had the right questions to ask about where to walk in the neighborhood, area of disposal, can we interact with other dogs, does he like kids etc He even took my dog for a run , trained him a bit , helped let out some energy. All in all he was great, definitely recommend him”

About: I've had my own dog since he was six, and now he's 14. From his puppy-like stage to being almost 90 in human years, I've taken care of him in all types of physicality. He was my first dog, but I took care of my friends' and neighbors' dogs since around 6th grade. I've taught him everything from shaking my hand, to weaving through my legs. My current job requires me to come in on an as-needed basis, typically on weekends, but only from 9-3. I have all the time in the world! My yard is not fenced, but we do have a long leash/rope that we keep our dog on when outside (he runs through invisible dog fences). My dog doesn't eat shoes and won't go on furniture unless allowed, so at night he just sleeps in a dog bed. I have worked with crate-trained dogs and always do my best to maintain the pet's daily lifestyle.
“Great experience for my puppy learning to be left alone during the day! Faith kept our training habits going and was even conscientious about checking her water before leaving. So grateful to have someone helping our little family out!”

I’m attending graduate school in the fall and spring with lots of availability in the summer. During the school year, my schedule varies but most of my evenings are free. I will go over any specific instructions with you prior to walks or pet sitting. I am happy to discuss any concerns or special needs!

About: What sets me apart is my patience, reliability, and genuine love for dogs. I understand that every pet has unique needs, so I adapt my care to their personality and routine. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, happy, and loved while giving owners complete peace of mind. I work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, so I’m available for morning walks before work, evening visits, and overnight pet care during the week. I’m also available most weekends, which allows me to spend extra time with pets for walks, drop-in visits, or extended care. I always make sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully to ensure each pet stays comfortable and maintains their normal routine. I respect feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications (if required), and any special care instructions. I also have experience with gentle puppy care, reinforcing routines, and providing consistent structure without harsh training methods. Very flexible -- (wasn't sure when, exactly, I would complete my 1000 mile drive, and drop off my goober dog). Benny was instantly comfortable with Kelsey even though we hadn't had time for a meet and greet. Kelsey kept me in touch with how he was doing in general, and checked in with me when she detected a brief limp. REALLY STELLAR experience -- cannot recommend highly enough.”

“Five very waggy stars for Meghan (and her sweet pup, Ralphie)! Meghan is absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that she is a true dog lover with tons of experience, and she knew exactly how to make our dog feel safe, happy, and completely at home. Our dog was treated like a member of her family and had the time of his life playing with Ralphie and the other dogs. The adorable photos and videos gave us so much peace of mind while we were away...and honestly, I think he was a little sad to come home, which is probably the highest compliment a dog can give. We will absolutely book again. Weekend at Ralphie’s is officially dog-approved!”
