About: For the past 16 years, I've had the privilege of caring for the beloved pets of my family and friends. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. My parents have two Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) dogs who require plenty of attention, exercise, and interaction. Whenever my parents travel—often for several weeks at a time—I stay in their home to care for them. During that time, I provide multiple daily walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. I also carefully follow their routine, including administering daily medications and any special care instructions. I also have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, reassuring environment. Additionally, I cared for a rescue dog with PTSD and, over time, earned their trust to the point where they felt comfortable approaching me for affection. Experiences like these have taught me the value of allowing animals to build trust at their own pace. Cats have been a part of my life for the past 16 years as well. I've cared for cats with a wide range of personalities, from playful kittens and affectionate cuddlers to independent cats and senior companions with special needs. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I helped clean, socialize, play with, and care for the cats to help them feel safe and comfortable while waiting for their forever homes. Whether I'm caring for dogs or cats, my goal is always the same: to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where every pet feels comfortable, cared for, and treated like family. As a full-time student with a flexible schedule, I'm able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including daytime visits, evening care, weekends, and many last-minute bookings. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet will be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I'm currently a full-time sonography student completing my clinical rotations. Before returning to school, I worked in the medical field, most recently at a cancer center, where I developed a strong commitment to providing compassionate, attentive care. Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am, and that same dedication extends to the animals I care for. For years, I've been the person family, friends, and neighbors rely on to care for their beloved pets. Whether it's walking dogs, checking in on cats, staying overnight, or helping out with last-minute requests, I genuinely enjoy making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. About: I have had pets my whole life. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 chickens. As a child we also had a hermit crab and guinea pigs. Pet care never stops at my house, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 chickens keep me busy! I have experience with guinea pigs and hermit crabs as well. About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always felt very natural to me. My last dog was with me for 14 years, and I got to experience every stage of her life with her. I went from playing with her as a little kid to taking her on walks and eventually helping care for her as she got older. Having her alongside me for so many years made her feel like a constant part of my life, and I really grew up with her in a way that I’ll always be grateful for. My current dog has been with me for four years and was rescued from a breeding farm. When we first brought her home, she was extremely nervous and wouldn’t even leave our mudroom. It took a lot of patience and consistency for her to become comfortable, but now she sleeps in my bed and follows me everywhere. That experience taught me that every dog has a different personality and comfort level, and sometimes they just need someone willing to give them the time to adjust. Maple (Her name) has taught me so much about her, myself, and how to care for different dogs. Given that she lives at home with my mother while I’m at school, I miss her like I’d miss a sibling or parent and we both always get unbelievably excited to see eachother when I am home for breaks. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and building a relationship with them. Whether they’re energetic, shy, older, or just love attention, I like figuring out what makes each dog comfortable and happy. I think caring for pets gives me just as much joy as I give them, which is why I take it seriously and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I am a current junior at the College of Lake Forest, studying psychology and I’m as well a member of the Men’s Lacrosse team. Given that, my schedule can get fairly busy during the afternoon and early evening most days however I am very good at managing my class schedule and athletics schedule to best make time for what I need, which will be the pet. No matter what home I’m in I will provide the animal with better than proper care. Growing up with pets I’ve gained a true care for every single one of them and I can guarantee that I will provide the best environment, safety, care, and love to any pet whether it’s in my own apartment or the clients home.

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. For the past 3 years I’ve taken care of dogs for multiple families, stayed over to care for pets overnight, worked as a dog walker, and always love playing and meeting new pups. I have cared for multiple pets at once, am consistent with feeding and walking schedules, have cared for pets of all ages, and love to share updates and pictures of your pup. I am a graduate student based in Lake Bluff who loves animals! I have a car and a lot of morning and evening flexibility with some mid-day flexibility as well to feed, walk, or check in on pets. About: Hi! I am a Senior at Lake Forest College studying Psychology on a pre-nursing track. I grew up in Boise, Idaho surrounded by animals, both my own and others’. Growing up I had a high-energy dog, many hamsters, a leopard gecko, and a cat. I also spent my entire high school career volunteering at my local humane society, working with both dogs and cats. About: My experience comes from caring for my own pets—both dogs and cats—and I grew up surrounded by dogs; we have always had them in our home and love them dearly. In fact, that is why my daughter studied veterinary medicine; although she is currently working as a nurse in this country, she is very close to achieving her goal of becoming a veterinarian again. I am available on weekends, specifically from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM, and also on some weekdaysTuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Following the client's instructions and maintaining good, thorough communication with the owner is, I believe, the best way to ensure our service is efficient and safe—making sure not to overlook any details regarding the pet, such as medical conditions, special care needs, or behavioral traits.

About: I have been caring for dogs almost as long as I have been alive! I am available in the afternoons during the week, and anytime on the weekends. I can care for your dog as little as a short home visit, or a nice outing at the park. Your dog’s safety is a MUST in my book and always my first priority. Anything that could possibly put your dog in harms-way will not be tolerated. When it comes to long stays away from your dog, I highly encourage communication in any shape or form. About: I have had pets since I was 1 years old - whatever my parents let me get away with (dog, cats, fish, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs). As an adult I continue to own cats and dogs and currently own 2 cats. I will treat your pet as a member of my family while in my care. I nursed my cat to health from losing a kidney and he lived till he was 17yo. I nursed my geriatric dog with eye disease, arthritis until he was 14.5yo. I am more experienced with adult and geriatric pets than babies but welcome all. I am seeking supplemental income due to healthcare expenses. I'm also healing from CIRS/Lyme and need a walking partner to improve my health! My schedule is flexible although I do often have evening commitments with my son and his activities. My yard is large and fenced in. I live next to several walking trails and have a quiet neighborhood. I live close to a dog park and dog beach. About: I’ve grown up with a taken care of dogs my entire life. We have a lively and loving home full of two children and our 1.5 year old dog. I will make sure your dog is fed, played with, walked and loved on constantly. I am currently a med student, so I have classes from 8 am until about 2 pm and then I’m available to be home studying and taking breaks to walk and love on your pet. We have an apartment so no fenced yards here unfortunately. But we have walking trails around the complex and I would love to walk your pet around there. I have two children (2 and 7) who are ultimate animal lovers too. I have a 1.5 year old dog who loves all animals. She is very high energy but extremely sweet and non aggressive.
