About: For the past 16 years, I've had the privilege of caring for the beloved pets of my family and friends. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. My parents have two Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) dogs who require plenty of attention, exercise, and interaction. Whenever my parents travel—often for several weeks at a time—I stay in their home to care for them. During that time, I provide multiple daily walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. I also carefully follow their routine, including administering daily medications and any special care instructions. I also have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, reassuring environment. Additionally, I cared for a rescue dog with PTSD and, over time, earned their trust to the point where they felt comfortable approaching me for affection. Experiences like these have taught me the value of allowing animals to build trust at their own pace. Cats have been a part of my life for the past 16 years as well. I've cared for cats with a wide range of personalities, from playful kittens and affectionate cuddlers to independent cats and senior companions with special needs. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I helped clean, socialize, play with, and care for the cats to help them feel safe and comfortable while waiting for their forever homes. Whether I'm caring for dogs or cats, my goal is always the same: to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where every pet feels comfortable, cared for, and treated like family. As a full-time student with a flexible schedule, I'm able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including daytime visits, evening care, weekends, and many last-minute bookings. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet will be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I'm currently a full-time sonography student completing my clinical rotations. Before returning to school, I worked in the medical field, most recently at a cancer center, where I developed a strong commitment to providing compassionate, attentive care. Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am, and that same dedication extends to the animals I care for. For years, I've been the person family, friends, and neighbors rely on to care for their beloved pets. About: I have had pets my whole life. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 chickens. As a child we also had a hermit crab and guinea pigs. Pet care never stops at my house, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 chickens keep me busy! I have experience with guinea pigs and hermit crabs as well. About: I worked at Bark University, a doggy daycare and groomer in Mundelein. I am also a Biology major at the University of Whitewater Wisconsin, where I plan to become an animal Rehabber and caretaker. I myself own two dogs currently, and one other in the past. I love taking care of them and showing them all the love possible. My dad often goes on business trips that can last up to two weeks, leaving me to take care of my own dogs while he’s gone, so I’ve had lots of experience take care of them by myself. In addition to this I have often taken care of family friends pets while they were out of town. I’m flexible as long as I know about the schedule a day in advance to help me plan my day. I’m mostly free but will say if I’m not otherwise. I give them lots of personal attention and care. I love showing my affection for pets with lots of petting and scratches. I keep a good eye on them while outside and inside to make sure nothing happens. I walk my dogs most days of the week and will always pick up after them.

About: I've taken care of my hyper active dog that likes to jump off walls for 10 years. I took care of a couple coworkers' pets (3 dogs) for weeks on end while they were on vacation. I've taken long walks with dogs no matter the weather, as long as the doggy is well prepared for the weather (ie winter coats and summer shoes). My previous dog loved sticking his head out of the car when I drive so I can drive around with your doggy if thats what they want. Taking them on nature walks will always be my favorite thing, so dogs can experience something new. I do work full time in lake forest but I thankfully have a flexible schedule, especially for lunch. I am able to take 1.5 hours for lunch so I can always swing by the house for a check in. I'm always free on weekends to give the animals the most love and care I will keep up to date on any issues that arises and be vigilant in making sure the animals don't mess up the garden or make a mess in the house. About: I have grown up with cats and currently have a 6 year old German Shepard named Jamie :) My girlfriend also has 2 cats that I love to hang out with and help take care of! I have a full time job outside of Rover, but am often at home during the day: able to do dog walks or drop ins for your pets. I have full day availability on Saturdays. Treating your pet like my own. On walks I’ll always make sure they’re on a leash, while staying alert to my surroundings, and check in for cues about tiredness/energy levels while making sure they get their activity in! During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
