About: I'm a student/stay at home kid and dog mom. I love animals and would love to be trusted to take care for your fur baby. I have a 4 year old Chihuahua mix who loves everyone. She will be a great playmate for your dog while you're away. I have 15 + years of experience. I'm currently a student/stay at home parent for two school aged kids. My days are free to drop by for potty breaks, playtime and snuggles. I have a fenced in yard and a 4 year old Chihuahua mix that will keep your fur baby company. I also have a baby gate on the stairs, and a doggy door.

About: For the past 16 years, I've had the privilege of caring for the beloved pets of my family and friends. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. My parents have two Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) dogs who require plenty of attention, exercise, and interaction. Whenever my parents travel—often for several weeks at a time—I stay in their home to care for them. During that time, I provide multiple daily walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. I also carefully follow their routine, including administering daily medications and any special care instructions. I also have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, reassuring environment. Additionally, I cared for a rescue dog with PTSD and, over time, earned their trust to the point where they felt comfortable approaching me for affection. Experiences like these have taught me the value of allowing animals to build trust at their own pace. Cats have been a part of my life for the past 16 years as well. I've cared for cats with a wide range of personalities, from playful kittens and affectionate cuddlers to independent cats and senior companions with special needs. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I helped clean, socialize, play with, and care for the cats to help them feel safe and comfortable while waiting for their forever homes. Whether I'm caring for dogs or cats, my goal is always the same: to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where every pet feels comfortable, cared for, and treated like family. As a full-time student with a flexible schedule, I'm able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including daytime visits, evening care, weekends, and many last-minute bookings. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet will be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I'm currently a full-time sonography student completing my clinical rotations. Before returning to school, I worked in the medical field, most recently at a cancer center, where I developed a strong commitment to providing compassionate, attentive care. Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am, and that same dedication extends to the animals I care for. For years, I've been the person family, friends, and neighbors rely on to care for their beloved pets. Whether it's walking dogs, checking in on cats, staying overnight, or helping out with last-minute requests, I genuinely enjoy making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Several people encouraged me to join Rover because of how often I already care for their furry family members. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to earn their trust while providing patient, dependable care.

About: My experience comes from caring for my own pets—both dogs and cats—and I grew up surrounded by dogs; we have always had them in our home and love them dearly. In fact, that is why my daughter studied veterinary medicine; although she is currently working as a nurse in this country, she is very close to achieving her goal of becoming a veterinarian again. I am available on weekends, specifically from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM, and also on some weekdaysTuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Following the client's instructions and maintaining good, thorough communication with the owner is, I believe, the best way to ensure our service is efficient and safe—making sure not to overlook any details regarding the pet, such as medical conditions, special care needs, or behavioral traits.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. I have been the go to for friends and family members when they travel because I have had such a flexible schedule during my career. I am now retired so I can spoil your fur baby 24/7. I have experience with my "nephew" a very large male german shepard all the way down to my soul dog, 8 lb Ellie Mae and everything in between. Multiple dogs is not an issue either. I have watched up to three dogs all with different schedules and needs. I will also leave your house as clean if not cleaner than when you left. I would consider it an honor for you to trust me with both. I have been retired for five years which means I will only be focusing on your dogs happiness and safety. I have been busy on the trusted housesitters site for over a year and have travelled the US visiting friends and family and falling in love with many dogs and taking care of some great homes. I have plenty of references available for you as I transition to this platform. I currently don't have any animals so I'm able to give yours my undivided attention I will take your lead, and the dogs, as to what you require. I love to walk for miles, I love to be outdoors and play fetch and I also appreciate a good chill on the couch. If you dog likes to ride in the car we can go get a pup cup and stick our head out the window. Whatever rules, requirements or special needs your fur baby requires I am able to provide. I will never be gone more that four hours at an absolute maximum and that would be a rarity just depending if I am in a new area and want to explore a little. If it is local to this Chicago/Northern IL area been there/done that.

About: I have had pets my whole life. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 chickens. As a child we also had a hermit crab and guinea pigs. Pet care never stops at my house, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 chickens keep me busy! I have experience with guinea pigs and hermit crabs as well. About: I have grown up with cats and currently have a 6 year old German Shepard named Jamie :) My girlfriend also has 2 cats that I love to hang out with and help take care of! I have a full time job outside of Rover, but am often at home during the day: able to do dog walks or drop ins for your pets. I have full day availability on Saturdays. Treating your pet like my own. On walks I’ll always make sure they’re on a leash, while staying alert to my surroundings, and check in for cues about tiredness/energy levels while making sure they get their activity in! At home will make sure they get all of the attention and care they need.

About: Aside from having my own personal dogs in home most of my life I have been volunteering working with and training rescues for 2 years now. Two hours in the Morning, two hours around lunch and all evenings are all free to care for the pets. Walks, fetch and training all available. If dogs are kid and animal friendly I will be able to give them lots of socialization in those environments plus lots of outdoor activity. Have experience working with dogs that don’t interact with other dogs very well.

I also grew up caring for a small, high-energy family dog and have spent years caring for friends’ and family members’ dogs, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of sizes, energy levels, and personalities. I especially enjoy active dogs who need a good walk, play session, or some extra stimulation, but I’m equally happy to provide a slower-paced outing for dogs who prefer to sniff and explore at their own speed. I’m responsible, attentive, and very respectful of each dog’s routine and boundaries. Whether your dog is social and adventurous, shy and cautious, or a little more complicated, I’ll take the time to understand what makes them comfortable rather than assuming every dog needs the same approach. I’d love to help give your pup some exercise, enrichment, companionship, and plenty of attention while you’re away! 🐾 My primary job is working with adults and children with special needs, and I have some afternoon and weekend availability that gives me the perfect opportunity to provide dogs with some extra exercise, enrichment, and companionship.
