About: Hi, I'm Chelly! I've always been an animal lover and have had the privilege of loving and caring for so many fur babies at Yuppy Puppy in Lake Bluff for about 2 years! I'm based in the Lake County and North Shore area, but if you're a bit farther out, don't worry, I'm always open to finding the perfect fit. Whether your pup needs a walk, your cat wants a friendly check-in, or you need someone to house sit while you're away, I am ready to help! I love working with animals of all ages and backgrounds, playful puppies, curious kittens, wise seniors, and even pets who need medications or a little extra love. I'm here to attend to your pets and your needs as an owner! :) I have a dog of my own, a sweet doodle named Bambi, and she ignites my love for dogs every single day. I know your pet is truly family and I promise to care for them as if they were my own, showering them with love and sending you plenty of photos so you always know how they're doing. 🐾 ♡ I have a flexible afternoon schedule to fit all pet parent needs! I am currently a student in online school, and work as an RBT from 8:15 - 3:15. I'm always willing to try and accommodate as much as possible, so don't be afraid to ask. :) When I’m house sitting, my goal is for your pet to feel like they’re hanging out with a friend, not just someone filling in. I pay close attention to the little rituals, favorite toys, bedtime snuggles, and those everyday quirks that mean so much to your pet. I’ll do my best to keep their world steady and familiar, so they can truly relax while you’re away. Your home will be treated with respect, and your furry companion will get plenty of love until you return. I always pay attention to detail, making sure doors are secure, gates are latched, and your pet can explore safely. Whether we’re out for a sunny walk or just lounging at home, I’m watching for every tail wag, ear perk, or sign that your pet needs something. With experience caring for both mellow seniors and energetic pups, I’m flexible and patient, ready to adapt to whatever makes your pet happiest. Your pet will always be treated like family! :)

About: I’ve had dogs and cats for 35 years. I currently have a German Shepherd and a domestic short hair cat. I volunteer at the humane society socializing cats. I am retired and have time and love enough to care for your small dog or cat. We travel a bit but am available when in town. I’m available for drop in visits or overnights. I am experienced keeping an active dog entertained. I can take small dogs for walks in your neighborhood

About: I just graduated from UMass Amherst with a degree in Pre-Veterinary Science. I have grown up with pets and taken care of them for years! I’ve had dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish! I have a lot of experience taking care of animals as I’ve interned at a zoo and volunteered at shelters and vet clinics. I’m very comfortable giving medications to pets as I’ve had a lot of practice with this with my own pets and while sitting! PLEASE READ** I am currently traveling in Europe and will not be home until October 10th. I am available after that for meet and greets or I can do virtual meet and greets as well! I am looking to move states in the coming months so I will not be available for long term sitting. My house has one kitten, and my backyard is not fenced in. I’d love to take care of your pet in either your home or mine, whichever is easiest!

About: I’ve had dogs in my family since I was in elementary school. I’ve been responsible for things like feeding them, walking them, and taking them out at night and in the morning Right now, my only commitments are on Sunday mornings, when I teach religious school in Deerfield. I’m looking for my next full time job currently, and heard about Rover through word of mouth. I’ll take your dog out first thing in the morning and last thing before bed. About: I’ve taken care of and loved dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. From puppies/kittens to seniors and in between. And all sizes! I also have experience with special needs dogs, including my own collie who had lower jaw removal surgery. I’ve had 2 cats in this time from when they were young to seniors. I recently adopted 2 young cats who love people. For dogs, I’ve adopted dogs of all different ages with various health needs. I only occasionally go into the office and work from home Mon - Fri. I’m used to having multiple animals so I’m comfortable with whatever their schedule may need. I want to follow the routine you have created and anything else to make sure they feel comfortable in my home or yours. They will get lots of love and attention from me during our time together!

About: Something that sets me apart is that I’m a dog trainer, actively pursuing to achieve certification for professional dog trainer. I participate regularly with dog training and actively see a dog training mentor weekly. I have loved dogs since I was very little. I do a pretty good job at reading their body language and how to anticipate their next moves.I’m able to reduce the anxiety a dog might have being away from you and with a new person. I use positive reinforcement by being gentle and firm and I try to be fun and playful with the dog or puppy. I have two dogs. I actively take them out, I feed them every morning and night. I bathe when they need it. I walk them and take them to dog classes or improve any behavior issues they might have or come across. Apart from my dogs, I participle imagine dog training classes as a student and to demonstrate dog training techniques. Such as: Sitting, downing, standing, staying and walking nicely in lead, etc. Maintaining owners schedule such as feeding, walking, medications, etc. Ensuring the cleanliness of the dog and dog waste in the yard or other properties. I will actively play with the dogs to tire them out and do what I can to ensure the health and enjoyment of the dog.

About: I have had dogs all my life. I enjoy helping walk, groom and play with them so they can relax and nap by the fireplace. I have trained puppies and also have had senior dogs too as well as meds admin also. I work from home so dogs are vital to me and they make me feel so happy. I love them and they love me so it is a win win. It is nice to be popular too with my K9s as they enjoy my big fenced in yard too which we love to run around in and play all day. I follow directions given to me and listen to the owners as they know their baby best. Other than that I give the dogs all my love and attention.

About: I’ve taken care of many different furry friends since I was 14. As soon as I moved in with my roommates I was more open to taking care different types of pets. I do have a morning job. I am available after 3:30pm. Just give me a heads up if you’re interested so I can work around my schedule. I am looking to further my knowledge on taking care of many different loving animals. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I would care for my neighbors animals when they were out of town. I’ve always loved dogs and have a 7 yr old Labradoodle, Max, that I rescued when he was a four month old puppy. He had escaped from his original owners and was missing for two days. When the police found him, he had been run over by a car. They couldn’t save his leg so he’s a tripod. He doesn’t even know he’s missing a leg. Max loves walks, water, and playing with his best doodle friend, Molly. I also have a lot of experience administering insulin shots for dogs. I would love to care for your fur babies the way I care for mine. I am semi retired and my time is very flexible. I’m available for daily walks or pet sitting. I’ll care for your fur baby exact same way I care for mine. My dog Max is living his best life with me. He receives lots of love, walks, snuggles, and playtime. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10-11 with having my two fur babies myself. I absolutely love to take care of dogs, I’d say I’d have the magic touch! I will always ensure your dog is well taken care of as well as staying alert for stress or odd behavior. I can follow any instructions to a T! Your pups care is my top priority! About: I have been an animal lover my whole life and have had pets since I was 5 years old. I currently have two cats who I am the primary care giver. My late dog, Mara (a black lab), became diabetic when she was 11. For the last 3 years of her life, I administered her insulin shots twice a day. From March 2019-March 2020, I volunteered at CARE Skokie and have watched friend’s cats and dogs over the years while they were away. About: I have 16 years of experience caring for others' animals. I worked for multiple horse farms until graduating college and all types of animals. Horses, donkeys, cows, big dogs, little dogs, pigs, bunnies, birds, I've taken care of them all! The bigger the animal the more comfortable I am with them. I work full time but I have a hybrid schedule that I make. I travel all over Cook/Kenosha/McHenry/Lake/Dupage Counties so if you're in that area I can tailor my schedule to spend more time in that area the week you need to accommodate your pets needs with daily walks or overnights. I treat all pets like they are my own. I take the time to get to know what they like so they warm up to me. Their favorite napping spots or where they like to be scratched. I want them to feel as comfortable as they can be while their owner is not around. I try to be the fun aunt that comes to visit so they don't notice mom and dad are gone.
