About: I’m an experienced animal lover since 2022. It’s a privilege to be able to take care of your family member and make them happy and comfortable. I love cats, dogs, bunnies, all of the above! I do have a full time job. I'm willing to come by during my lunch break or after work past 5pm. Flexible for weekend schedules. I respect your space. I go where I’m allowed. Portions for food vary per owner and so do the limitations of treats. You tell me the quantity and I will stick to it. I’m excited to try to teach them tricks, throw a ball, or take a walk.
“Nicole did an outstanding job taking care of my cat while I was away! She was consistent in making sure his food, litter, and other necessities were well taken care of. I really appreciated the regular updates and photos, which assured me that everything was going smoothly. My cat was happy and relaxed when I returned, and I could tell he had been in great hands. I highly recommend her and will definitely trust her with my cat again in the future!”

“Veronique was wonderful with my two huskies- I am always super concerned when I leave them alone & stress over their care. She was great at keeping me updated, sent me consistent updates, photos and videos. It’s important for me that my dogs connect with their sitter and it seems my two connected very well with Veronique. I’d absolutely recommend her and would totally book future sitting appointments with her. Thank you much for caring for my big boys 🐶 🐶”

About: Hello! I’ve taken care of animals of all types for most of my life. I’m always the person everyone in my life comes to first to take care of their dogs/cats/birds/etc. when they’re leaving town, or just want someone to check in on the animals. I’ve always loved dogs and used to volunteer every weekend at shelters helping to take care of the dogs there. Reach out and I’d love to answer any questions you have! My schedule is very flexible right now, so it’s easy for me to be able to drop in to check on your animals. I can usually make it out to your home within a few hours. I won’t be boarding animals in my own home, as I live in an apartment with two of my own cats, however I am always the first to think about safety in your home. Animals will always be leashed outside and if dogs are at all reactive we won’t be walking too near any other people/dogs. If you have specific concerns just let me know and I’ll be happy to accommodate!
About: What sets me apart is my background as a Physician Assistant student, which means I’m calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and used to caring for others with real responsibility. I’m especially comfortable with senior pets, medication administration, and pets who need a little extra patience or monitoring. I pay close attention to routines, behavior changes, and safety—whether that’s following feeding instructions to the letter, noticing when something feels “off,” or making sure your pet is comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. I also have experience with gentle puppy care, reinforcing routines, and providing consistent structure without harsh training methods. Bottom line: I don’t just “watch” pets, I care for them thoughtfully and intentionally, the same way I’m trained to care for patients. Your pet’s well-being always comes first. Weekly Routine: I’m most available Friday through Sunday, which allows for longer visits, flexible scheduling, and unrushed care. I plan my days in advance so walks, feedings, and check-ins happen consistently. Daily Care: I build pet care into my routine, not around it—no last-minute rushing. I follow established schedules closely and ensure each visit receives my full attention. Communication: I’m responsive and proactive with updates, photos, and check-ins so you always know how things are going. In short: structured care, flexible weekends, and pets that stay on their routine. I prioritize safety, consistency, and a calm environment. In a client’s home, I closely follow routines, secure doors and leashes, and respect the space. I’m attentive, careful, and proactive with communication.

“Julie was so wonderful with our cat who needs subcutaneous fluids injected daily. She updated us with a very detailed report on how our cat did (awesome under her care) and gave us many photos which is always so great when you’re away from your precious pet. Would highly recommend, especially for anyone who is worried about giving their furry friend meds while they are away.”

I've been the go-to sitter for my friends and family for years and take great pride in providing in-home care to their furry (or scaly) family members. I do my best to offer them a safe space to be themselves – whatever that might look like. I take my time to earn their trust and let them drive how much and how quickly we interact. Extremely happy with Christine. This is the first time I've had a drop in visit for my pets in 10 years. Christine reassured me and even came to visit my fur babies before. She brought an ease and I felt complete trust that they were in good hands. I was given many updates every visit and pictures. She was thoughtful and always on time. My pets were very comfortable with her. Which made my trip less stressful. I would definitely recommend Christine and I will happily recommend her and have her back again in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
