About: Hi! I am a Senior at Lake Forest College studying Psychology on a pre-nursing track. I grew up in Boise, Idaho surrounded by animals, both my own and others’. I have a passion for the outdoors, including skiing, hiking, camping, and more! I am also an athlete and love any excuse to get some exercise. ln addition to being outdoors, I love reading, knitting, watching shows, and studying. So, I can watch your furry friend(s) in any way they’d like! I’m hoping to make some money to pay my bills and go to nursing school next year :) Growing up I had a high-energy dog, many hamsters, a leopard gecko, and a cat. I also spent my entire high school career volunteering at my local humane society, working with both dogs and cats. My work consisted of walking dogs, petting cats, creating enrichments, and cleaning kennels. This has given me experience with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. About: I grew up with pets and have years of experience caring for animals, including feeding, administering medication, and keeping their spaces clean and comfortable. I’m attentive to each pet’s unique needs, from walks and playtime to maintaining their daily routines. Since I can’t have pets of my own right now, I truly enjoy caring for others’ and making sure they feel loved and well cared for. I’m currently a student at Wake Forest, so outside of my class schedule, I’m pretty flexible and able to adjust my routine to meet your pet care needs. I am not available 12-3pm M-Th or T/Th 9:30-11am. In clients’ homes, I focus on making pets feel comfortable and well cared for by following their usual routines. This includes feeding, administering medication if needed, cleaning up after the pets, and providing plenty of attention, playtime, or walks. My goal is to ensure pets feel happy and secure while their owners are away.

About: I've had my own dog since he was six, and now he's 14. From his puppy-like stage to being almost 90 in human years, I've taken care of him in all types of physicality. He was my first dog, but I took care of my friends' and neighbors' dogs since around 6th grade. I've taught him everything from shaking my hand, to weaving through my legs. My current job requires me to come in on an as-needed basis, typically on weekends, but only from 9-3. I have all the time in the world! My yard is not fenced, but we do have a long leash/rope that we keep our dog on when outside (he runs through invisible dog fences). My dog doesn't eat shoes and won't go on furniture unless allowed, so at night he just sleeps in a dog bed. I have worked with crate-trained dogs and always do my best to maintain the pet's daily lifestyle.

About: I have had pets since I was 1 years old - whatever my parents let me get away with (dog, cats, fish, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs). As an adult I continue to own cats and dogs and currently own 2 cats. I will treat your pet as a member of my family while in my care. I nursed my cat to health from losing a kidney and he lived till he was 17yo. I nursed my geriatric dog with eye disease, arthritis until he was 14.5yo. I am more experienced with adult and geriatric pets than babies but welcome all. I am seeking supplemental income due to healthcare expenses. I'm also healing from CIRS/Lyme and need a walking partner to improve my health! My schedule is flexible although I do often have evening commitments with my son and his activities. My yard is large and fenced in. I live next to several walking trails and have a quiet neighborhood. I live close to a dog park and dog beach. I am familiar with crate training and administering medications.

About: I had my babies for 17 years they’ve crossed over to Rainbow Bridge. I have so much love still to give. Seniors are just puppies that have come full circle and they deserve just as much love. I also fostered for a year and found all the fur babies a forever home. I also love our military and live close to the Nave Base I’m semi retired, my fur babies have crossed over to Rainbow Bridge. I’ve never known life without my fur babies. I have more love to give and I couldn’t think of a better way too give and get unconditional love. I have a big yard to play in and a great love for the outdoors, I also enjoy walking, and sleep overs are great. You can bring their crate and favorite toy and blanket so they still feel like they’re home.

I perform a 'gear check' before we leave the house to ensure collars and leashes are secure. I stick to familiar, safe routes and am always mindful of the environment—keeping an eye out for other dogs, traffic, or unsafe debris on the sidewalk. I am also happy to follow any specific training commands you use to keep your dog's routine consistent. +For cat visits, I focus on maintaining a low-stress environment. I am extremely careful when entering and exiting to ensure your cat doesn't slip out the door. I respect their space, letting them approach me at their own pace. If your cat requires a special diet or medication, I double-check instructions to ensure feedings are administered exactly as requested.
