About: Hi my name is Nina! I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life and over the last 2 years I’ve truly fallen in love with pet care. I am trustworthy, flexible and go above and beyond for your furry friend. Just as I would take care of my own! I’ve worked professionally as a pet sitter including drop ins, long walks and over two weeks at my clients home. Taking care of your home as much and I do your pet! I am a lover of all animals but more than that, I am comfortable with elderly dogs, dogs with special needs, medicated pups and those that are a bit anxious. I’ve found that home sitting keeps your animals the most comfortable while they stay on their normal routine and meet a new friend! Clients in the past have said I am patient, adaptable, trustworthy and truly go above and beyond for your pup just as I would my own. I’d love the opportunity to gain a new furry friend and hope to take any anxiety away from leaving your baby. I’m currently working as a freelance digital marketing contractor so my days are mostly spend at home. I am extremely flexible when it comes to overnights and walks, accommodating my customers needs. I am happy to stay overnight as needed as well’ I treat your home as if it were my own and my goal is to leave it cleaner than I arrived. When it comes to your pups night routine, I am happy to cuddle up with them or crate the as needed. It’s truly up to what their normal routine includes and I follow!
“This was the second time Lindsey took care of my cat Sweetie both times went great. I received photos everyday of Sweetie playing with his favorite feather toy. He was happy to see me come home but was not clingy like he had been depressed at my absence. He wanted to play with his toy followed by a cuddle and then more toy time. Great experience for both Kitty and me.🐾”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always felt very natural to me. My last dog was with me for 14 years, and I got to experience every stage of her life with her. I went from playing with her as a little kid to taking her on walks and eventually helping care for her as she got older. Having her alongside me for so many years made her feel like a constant part of my life, and I really grew up with her in a way that I’ll always be grateful for. My current dog has been with me for four years and was rescued from a breeding farm. When we first brought her home, she was extremely nervous and wouldn’t even leave our mudroom. It took a lot of patience and consistency for her to become comfortable, but now she sleeps in my bed and follows me everywhere. That experience taught me that every dog has a different personality and comfort level, and sometimes they just need someone willing to give them the time to adjust. Maple (Her name) has taught me so much about her, myself, and how to care for different dogs. Given that she lives at home with my mother while I’m at school, I miss her like I’d miss a sibling or parent and we both always get unbelievably excited to see eachother when I am home for breaks. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and building a relationship with them. Whether they’re energetic, shy, older, or just love attention, I like figuring out what makes each dog comfortable and happy. I think caring for pets gives me just as much joy as I give them, which is why I take it seriously and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I am a current junior at the College of Lake Forest, studying psychology and I’m as well a member of the Men’s Lacrosse team. Given that, my schedule can get fairly busy during the afternoon and early evening most days however I am very good at managing my class schedule and athletics schedule to best make time for what I need, which will be the pet. No matter what home I’m in I will provide the animal with better than proper care. Growing up with pets I’ve gained a true care for every single one of them and I can guarantee that I will provide the best environment, safety, care, and love to any pet whether it’s in my own apartment or the clients home.
About: I have had pets my whole life. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 chickens. As a child we also had a hermit crab and guinea pigs. Pet care never stops at my house, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 chickens keep me busy! I have experience with guinea pigs and hermit crabs as well. Will communicate with you while you are away, love to send pictures and tell you about our day! Will spend lots of time on walks and outdoors
About: I’ve grown up with a taken care of dogs my entire life. We have a lively and loving home full of two children and our 1.5 year old dog. I will make sure your dog is fed, played with, walked and loved on constantly. I am currently a med student, so I have classes from 8 am until about 2 pm and then I’m available to be home studying and taking breaks to walk and love on your pet. We have an apartment so no fenced yards here unfortunately. But we have walking trails around the complex and I would love to walk your pet around there. I have two children (2 and 7) who are ultimate animal lovers too. I have a 1.5 year old dog who loves all animals. She is very high energy but extremely sweet and non aggressive.

I will care for your pet by giving them lots of love and attention, maintaining their schedule whether that be walks/playing or feeding. Whatever you and your pet need, I am here to help.

About: Rover Profile Bio Hi! I’m Wing, and I’m an experienced dog caregiver who genuinely loves getting to know each dog’s individual personality, quirks, and needs. 🐶 I had my own dog for 7 years—a large, active, highly reactive dog—and was responsible for his day-to-day care as well as working with him on training and behavior. That experience taught me a lot about patience, consistency, reading canine body language, and helping dogs feel safe and comfortable in situations that can be challenging for them. I also grew up caring for a small, high-energy family dog and have spent years caring for friends’ and family members’ dogs, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of sizes, energy levels, and personalities. I especially enjoy active dogs who need a good walk, play session, or some extra stimulation, but I’m equally happy to provide a slower-paced outing for dogs who prefer to sniff and explore at their own speed. I’m responsible, attentive, and very respectful of each dog’s routine and boundaries. Whether your dog is social and adventurous, shy and cautious, or a little more complicated, I’ll take the time to understand what makes them comfortable rather than assuming every dog needs the same approach. I’d love to help give your pup some exercise, enrichment, companionship, and plenty of attention while you’re away! 🐾 My primary job is working with adults and children with special needs, and I have some afternoon and weekend availability that gives me the perfect opportunity to provide dogs with some extra exercise, enrichment, and companionship. I care for pets by following their usual routines and taking the time to understand their individual needs and preferences. I’m happy to help with walks, feeding, playtime, medication administration, and other care as needed. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep your pet’s safety and comfort as my priority, and send updates along the way so you know how things are going. I’m also happy to accommodate pets who need a little extra patience, structure, or attention.
About: From the beginning, my wife and I have shared a love for pets, especially dogs. I formed a home where our first child was a furry, four-legged friend. This beloved first canine child strengthened my love and taught me profound parenting skills, and I have passed that legacy on to our two teenage children and our three-year-old son. I formed a home where the love for our dogs is genuine and sincere. That's why caring for your puppies is my responsibility, and I take it very seriously. I have extensive experience caring for all types of dogs, breeds, and ages, and we carefully study their different and unique personalities and needs. I treat them with love and respect. From the moment your dog enters our home, he/she becomes another member of my family. Rest assured that he'll share unique and memorable spaces with each member of my family and will be a part of my family routine without exception. My home is a loving, personalized, safe, and warm home for your dog. Depending on your needs, I accommodate and strive to make our four-legged friend feel at home with us.
About: What sets me apart is my background as a Physician Assistant student, which means I’m calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and used to caring for others with real responsibility. I’m especially comfortable with senior pets, medication administration, and pets who need a little extra patience or monitoring. I pay close attention to routines, behavior changes, and safety—whether that’s following feeding instructions to the letter, noticing when something feels “off,” or making sure your pet is comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. I also have experience with gentle puppy care, reinforcing routines, and providing consistent structure without harsh training methods. Bottom line: I don’t just “watch” pets, I care for them thoughtfully and intentionally, the same way I’m trained to care for patients. Your pet’s well-being always comes first. Weekly Routine: I’m most available Friday through Sunday, which allows for longer visits, flexible scheduling, and unrushed care. I plan my days in advance so walks, feedings, and check-ins happen consistently. Daily Care: I build pet care into my routine, not around it—no last-minute rushing. I follow established schedules closely and ensure each visit receives my full attention. Communication: I’m responsive and proactive with updates, photos, and check-ins so you always know how things are going. In short: structured care, flexible weekends, and pets that stay on their routine. I prioritize safety, consistency, and a calm environment. In a client’s home, I closely follow routines, secure doors and leashes, and respect the space. I’m attentive, careful, and proactive with communication.
“Diana was wonderful with our two playful kitties over the holidays! She was always on time, was very communicative, and had great attention to detail. Most of all, I can tell she really cares for animals. I highly recommend her and would love to have her watch our kitties anytime!”

“Isabella was great with our two huskies, she was always there to take care of them, play with them, spend time with them, overall be a great caregiver for my not so little ones. We appreciate Isabella’s work ethic and will absolutely be reaching out in the future when we are in need of a great sitter!”

About: Hi! I am a Senior at Lake Forest College studying Psychology on a pre-nursing track. I grew up in Boise, Idaho surrounded by animals, both my own and others’. Growing up I had a high-energy dog, many hamsters, a leopard gecko, and a cat. I also spent my entire high school career volunteering at my local humane society, working with both dogs and cats. This has given me experience with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. Currently, I dog and cat sit regularly for a few families. You can trust me with your pets like they are my own. My friends and family would describe me as kind, passionate, caring, level-headed, reliable, and loving. I have a passion for the outdoors and am an athlete, so I love any excuse to get some exercise. I also love reading, knitting, watching shows, and studying. So, I can watch your furry friend(s) in any way they’d like! I’m hoping to make some money to pay my bills and go to nursing school next year :) **Schedule** I am hoping to care for your animals in between classes and athletics. Due to this, a lower maintenance animal would be a better fit for me. However, despite my busy schedule, I will be sure to give your furry friend my full attention. **Safety, trust & environment** When with your animals, I will make sure to give them the best care possible, ensuring that I am attentive, loving, and supportive. I send lots of updates to provide reassurance that your pets are happy, safe, and comfortable. When in your home, I will treat it with respect and make sure it remains clean.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
