About: I have been working with dogs professionally for 4 years and working as a dog trainer for the passed year. Im a lifelong dog and animal lover with two little dogs of my own who I train in my free time. My youngest dog Freyja has her Canine Good Citizen title and is working on more! I have cared for my coworkers and friends dogs for years and I would love to care for yours! I work full time as a dog trainer at Call of the Wild. My partner is available to let your dog out while I am gone during the day and my senior dog stays home as well. I have a fenced in yard and crates available. My two small dogs are friendly with dogs and my boyfriend is around to help out as needed

About: Hi, I'm Chelly! I've always been an animal lover and have had the privilege of loving and caring for so many fur babies at Yuppy Puppy in Lake Bluff for about 2 years! I'm based in the Lake County and North Shore area, but if you're a bit farther out, don't worry, I'm always open to finding the perfect fit. Whether your pup needs a walk, your cat wants a friendly check-in, or you need someone to house sit while you're away, I am ready to help! I pay close attention to the little rituals, favorite toys, bedtime snuggles, and those everyday quirks that mean so much to your pet. Your home will be treated with respect, and your furry companion will get plenty of love until you return. I always pay attention to detail, making sure doors are secure, gates are latched, and your pet can explore safely. Whether we’re out for a sunny walk or just lounging at home, I’m watching for every tail wag, ear perk, or sign that your pet needs something. About: My family used to own 7 dogs when I was a preteen! 6 were chihuahuas and one was a pit bull, so I feel comfortable with any dog size. I would feed, walk, wash, and play with them. Now, I help my friends with their dogs whenever it’s needed. I know when they need space and when they want to be playful. I have a lots of energy, so I can ply with your pup for a long time! I’m a full-time student and work part-time for two days a week, but it only takes up in the morning. On any day of the week, I am available at any time after 4pm, and before 11am except on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. I’m always observing, partially because of admiration, but also watching out for any signs of discomfort. I can recognize when they need space, are uncomfortable, anxious, or threatened. I’m cautious when it comes to interactions while walking and will walk across the other side of the street from another dog for precaution.

I can easily accommodate feeding schedules, playtimes, and check-ins, making pet care a natural and enjoyable part of my routine. I provide a safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly environment for all animals in my care. My home has a large yard with fencing where I can comfortably walk one’s pet outdoors while remaining safe. I have two cats and one dog in the home, so I do carefully manage introductions and limit interactions if needed to ensure all pets are comfortable. For dogs, I can crate or pen if needed, providing them with personal space, or allow them to roam safely on a leash outside while ensuring they are well cared for inside. For cats, I prioritize an stress-free environment, providing personal space and ensuring quiet areas to retreat to. I understand feline body languages and can understand shy, playful, or independent cats to ensure their comfort.

About: As you probably saw from the headline, I have recently started to dog sit for friends and family... And it just turns out that I enjoy it. Granted, these dogs are well behaved, and have been raised well. I grew up with parakeets, and I still have them. I like most pet animals, and I want to continue to learn more about how to best take care of them. As I am still learning how best to take care of dogs, it is important to me that we would do a meet and greet before deciding if we are a good fit for each other. I am not a dog trainer by any means, so please be understanding of that, and please be realistic. I am here to hopefully walk or sit for your dog, and I will always do it to the best of my ability - but I will need to be shown how you do things with your dog, and what to expect. As an example, the first dog I sat for had a tendency to dart towards the front door of the house I watched, so I had to be extra careful when going in and out of the house. As a bird owner, I check on them before work, and multiple times after work. When I have sat for dogs, I will feed them in the morning and walk them before work. After work, I would walk them again, as well as check on their water and food. The dog I am sitting for next (which is a family member's dog), I will kennel him at night, as well as when I am going to work. This is at the owner's request. Same idea on schedule for walking him before and after work as well. I am not a host, so this will depend on how your house is setup, as well as if the dog is used to the routine. For a more specific example though... When I sat for a friend's dog recently, I let him sleep on the same bed as me, which was a very new experience. (Would you believe that it tried to climb in my sleeping bag, too?) I did this for the comfort of the dog, even though it wasn't something that would have been my preference. I also made sure to check and top off his water and food about twice a day. Anything else that you expect should be discussed with me, so that we can have similar expectations and be on the same page.

About: I have a love for animals, if you're thinking I'm sure everyone says that but for me it's so true. Not only do I love caring for pets. I've even helped my neighborhood with feral cats and getting them the help the deserve. Look up on Facebook Winthrop Harbor Wild Cats! What does that mean for you? I'm passionate about caring for animals means I will love on and treat your special friend just as you would! My work is flexible and mostly at home. I like to go on walks daily which would fit perfectly for any pup looking for exercise! We have a large yard for easy potty breaks. I have two young children that wear out anyone willing to play. We have a medium crate if needed and a full basement with playroom.

About: I grew up with at least 2 dogs in the house at all times. They have always been my friends. When my husband and I lived in California we dog sat through rover for 2 years and absolutely loved being able to care for the dogs in our community. Now that we are in Illinois we are looking to continue to spread that love! We have our own dog, Marley, who gets along well with everyone. A large space, about 1 acre, with a fenced in yard. I work from 6am-3pm, and am home otherwise; Jonathan is home all day every day to provide care to your pets. He got out of the Marine Corps in February 2023, and since then has stayed home with our 2 babies. He takes extremely good care of your pup ,and loves to take our furry clients to the park and on walks! We have a fenced in back yard, and there are several parks nearby for dog walks and play dates. Our house has doors to every room except for the living room to kitchen, so whether your pets are super friendly or a little more reserved we’ll be able to safely take care of them in respect for their personal space. We feed all dogs separately (unless you have a pair that prefer to eat together).

About: I have over 20 years of caring for animals of all kinds. I am very personal, caring, and will treat your animal with the love they deserve. I have a full time job Monday-Friday. I can walk your dog in the morning and play with them until I leave for work. After work we can play and enjoy what new outside adventures have in store! I have the ability to come to your home if that’s your preference. I am very schedule friendly. I have a big common area and a large park with a dog area. I’m close to a walking path or can just stay in home and play. I am very responsible and have over 20 years of experience. I have two daughters 11,8 that could help as well. They love animals.

About: I grew up with friends referring to my home as a zoo because we had so many pets! Being responsible for family pets at a young age taught me responsibility and how rewarding it is to care for a furry friend. I grew up to work at the medical center of an animal shelter and learned the skills to work with young to senior pets, outgoing and shut down, in n good health and poor. I treat my dog like my kid and will do the same for your pet I'm currently a full time parent to facilitate taking my son to various therapy appointments which allows a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I remember the stress of being at work and worrying about how long my senior dog had been home alone. I would love to help remove that stress from your life. I'm very particular about a sitter following instructions on how to care for my pup to make sure he is as safe and happy as possible. On walks I always ask other person parents to give us space to avoid any unnecessary negative interactions. Any instructions or preferences you have for your pet will be followed to the letter!

I’m so excited to start walking all the 4 legged friends that come across my path. If they have less than 4 that’s absolutely fine too! ♥️💕 NOTICE: I am not available to do mornings on weekdays.. I am able to do late afternoon/evenings from 5 pm and after on Weekdays. I am able to do Fridays from 6 pm and on. Saturday and Sundays are open (anytime) I have a fenced home with my little guy (Yorkie+Maltese Mix 8lbs) to keep your fur baby company I can always keep my pup crated if necessary.

About: Hello! I’m currently a pre-vet major looking to take care of some furry friends :) I recently completed a NAVTA approved Veterinary Assistant Training course where I received exposure to medical and clinical experience. Im an active person who loves being outside. Long walks are no problem for me if you have a super active and outgoing dog ! Making sure your pets are comfortable and safe is my number one priority.
