About: Although I am only 19, I have had pets for as long as I can remember. My family and I have a total of 6 pets- 3 dogs and 3 cats! We have fostered and adopted our fair share of animals, all with different stories! One of our dogs is an amish labor rescue, one of my cats is blind, and another only has 3 legs!! While all of our pets now come from a different and difficult situation, it has been a reward and privilege to love and take care of them. I am familiar with hyper and untrained dogs as we have had 2 since they were puppies and they still are a bit crazy to this day! About: Hello! I love cats more than anything and have two of my own at home. I’ve had cats as old as 17 years that have special needs and require medications, to a mom that had her kittens in my bathroom. I’ve also taken care of litters of day old kittens up until they were old enough to be adopted out. About: As you probably saw from the headline, I have recently started to dog sit for friends and family... And it just turns out that I enjoy it. Granted, these dogs are well behaved, and have been raised well. I grew up with parakeets, and I still have them. I like most pet animals, and I want to continue to learn more about how to best take care of them. As I am still learning how best to take care of dogs, it is important to me that we would do a meet and greet before deciding if we are a good fit for each other. I am not a dog trainer by any means, so please be understanding of that, and please be realistic. I am here to hopefully walk or sit for your dog, and I will always do it to the best of my ability - but I will need to be shown how you do things with your dog, and what to expect. As an example, the first dog I sat for had a tendency to dart towards the front door of the house I watched, so I had to be extra careful when going in and out of the house. As a bird owner, I check on them before work, and multiple times after work. When I have sat for dogs, I will feed them in the morning and walk them before work. After work, I would walk them again, as well as check on their water and food. The dog I am sitting for next (which is a family member's dog), I will kennel him at night, as well as when I am going to work. This is at the owner's request. Same idea on schedule for walking him before and after work as well. I am not a host, so this will depend on how your house is setup, as well as if the dog is used to the routine. For a more specific example though... When I sat for a friend's dog recently, I let him sleep on the same bed as me, which was a very new experience. (Would you believe that it tried to climb in my sleeping bag, too?) I did this for the comfort of the dog, even though it wasn't something that would have been my preference. I also made sure to check and top off his water and food about twice a day. Anything else that you expect should be discussed with me, so that we can have similar expectations and be on the same page.

About: Together, Julian and I have a long history of taking care of pets. I've taken care of dogs (of all sizes) since I was very young, as well as Cats. My family has always owned large breeds (Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Great Pyrenees', etc.) but also have experience with medium/small dogs. About: Hi! While your gone away you can be sure your dog will get the love and care of a full family, we are up at 7am for a health breakfast and by 9 we’re out to hike a 1.5 mile trail full of wild life and beautiful views for your pup to see and experience. By 11 we’re back home for a bit of rest before lunch. Then comes nap time! The long walk usually tires the doggies out. After a few hrs they are up again for more playtime, usually hands on with the family, games like tug and fetch. This leads us to dinner around 6 and a bit more attention before our 8:30 bed time. Every day your pup is with us is an adventure they will be sure to enjoy just as much as the vacation your taking! My wife works from home and I walk dogs and manage the boarding 24/7. It’s always been a dream job if mine to be able to spend all day taking care of dogs and now I’m finally living that dream! I have a huge fenced in yard but the dogs will only be out there to use the bathroom. Maybe later in the day for some fetch but mostly the dogs will be inside with us. Also our morning walk is about 1-2 hrs long and that take a lot out of the dogs leaving them easy to manage most of the rest of the day.
About: I grew up with a dog and loved him very much. He passed away, and the family has not yet gotten another, but I miss caring for a dog. I love all dogs and cats of any size and any animal, for that matter. I am incredibly attentive to animals and always love giving them care, even when they are not mine. I am almost always home and able to pet sit through the day and overnight. I am currently in college, but taking classes online, so I am constantly available to tend to your pet's needs. I am a very active person who can take your pet on walks or runs more than once each day if need be. If your pet enjoys resting, I will also do it with them as I complete work on my computer and will pay close attention to them or snuggle with them if it's what they like. I will care for each pet depending on their specific needs, whether they need to have walks, use the bathroom often, or receive personal care. My home is very safe for pets, as it was already set up for a dog in the past with carpeted stairs and a yard to play in. The yard has a fence around part of it, but it is still open, so if I take your pet outside to play, I will use a leash and keep them in the yard safely separated from any danger. The only other person living in the home will be my mother, who is also an animal lover, but is generally at work during weekdays.

About: I have a love for animals, if you're thinking I'm sure everyone says that but for me it's so true. Not only do I love caring for pets. I'm passionate about caring for animals means I will love on and treat your special friend just as you would! My work is flexible and mostly at home. I like to go on walks daily which would fit perfectly for any pup looking for exercise! We have a large yard for easy potty breaks. I have two young children that wear out anyone willing to play. We have a medium crate if needed and a full basement with playroom.
About: I am a big animal lover. I plan on treating and taking care of your sweet fur baby as if he or she or they are mine because that how I would want someone to take care of my fur babies. I understand the worries leaving them with a pet sitter because I am a pet owner and have had a lot of anxiety leaving my pet with a person even if it a person I know and trust. I can provide special care if needed I had blind fur babies before as well have had a lot of senior and puppies that needed a lot of attention , care and love. I have two shih-tzu one young (Gerber) and one senior( Toby). I require all pets be up to date with shots as well flea treated. I currently have a part time and only work about 2days a week. If that. Due to working short hours and day I am blessed being able to be home most of the time with my own dogs. As well be able to have this side hustle of taking care of people fur kids. I have a fenced back yard and currently saving for the fenced in front yard. I actually have a double fenced back yard section to help to get my own pets safe. I did it because I find my big back yard great for exercise and play time but I love having a decent side section double fence just for sense of security.

About: I grew up with friends referring to my home as a zoo because we had so many pets! Being responsible for family pets at a young age taught me responsibility and how rewarding it is to care for a furry friend. I grew up to work at the medical center of an animal shelter and learned the skills to work with young to senior pets, outgoing and shut down, in n good health and poor. I treat my dog like my kid and will do the same for your pet I'm currently a full time parent to facilitate taking my son to various therapy appointments which allows a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I remember the stress of being at work and worrying about how long my senior dog had been home alone. I would love to help remove that stress from your life. I'm very particular about a sitter following instructions on how to care for my pup to make sure he is as safe and happy as possible. On walks I always ask other person parents to give us space to avoid any unnecessary negative interactions. Any instructions or preferences you have for your pet will be followed to the letter!
About: I’ve worked at a vet clinic for over two years, I know how to administer medication. I’m good at handling dogs and having fun and playing with toys. My schedule is pretty open, so I have plenty of time to play with the animals and take care of their needs and I’m available to take care of the animals just about whenever it’s needed. I can work with just about anything if your dog needs to be crated I can crate them take them for walks or play with them in the backyard if the space allows. Housesitting only at clients place.

About: I've been volunteering at pet shelters since I was 15. I'm a retired military veteran who just loves dogs. When taking care of your dog I can take them out on runs or on long walks depending on your request. If your dog prefers to cuddle on the couch that could easily be arranged too! Growing up I had three dogs and know how they are important members of the family. They hold a special place in our hearts and I will give them the utmost respect, love and care while taking care of them. I will do my very best to make sure your fur baby is well taken care of, so well that they will be barking to have me come back! Also if you choose me to dog sit expect lots of dog pictures! I love doing photoshoots! I'm going to school part time so I have a very flexible schedule when it comes to drop in visits or walking! For home stays please let me know early in advance! With walks I'm aware and will physically check the temperatures of sidewalks to ensure the safety of your dog's paws. I'm also always on the lookout for broken glass or trash that might cut their paws. If requested I also don't mind taking dogs to local trails for a nature walk!
