About: For the past 16 years, I've had the privilege of caring for the beloved pets of my family and friends. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. My parents have two Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) dogs who require plenty of attention, exercise, and interaction. Whenever my parents travel—often for several weeks at a time—I stay in their home to care for them. During that time, I provide multiple daily walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. I also carefully follow their routine, including administering daily medications and any special care instructions. I also have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, reassuring environment. Additionally, I cared for a rescue dog with PTSD and, over time, earned their trust to the point where they felt comfortable approaching me for affection. Experiences like these have taught me the value of allowing animals to build trust at their own pace. Cats have been a part of my life for the past 16 years as well. I've cared for cats with a wide range of personalities, from playful kittens and affectionate cuddlers to independent cats and senior companions with special needs. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I helped clean, socialize, play with, and care for the cats to help them feel safe and comfortable while waiting for their forever homes. About: I have grown up with cats and currently have a 6 year old German Shepard named Jamie :) My girlfriend also has 2 cats that I love to hang out with and help take care of! I have a full time job outside of Rover, but am often at home during the day: able to do dog walks or drop ins for your pets. I have full day availability on Saturdays. Treating your pet like my own. On walks I’ll always make sure they’re on a leash, while staying alert to my surroundings, and check in for cues about tiredness/energy levels while making sure they get their activity in! About: My experience comes from caring for my own pets—both dogs and cats—and I grew up surrounded by dogs; we have always had them in our home and love them dearly. In fact, that is why my daughter studied veterinary medicine; although she is currently working as a nurse in this country, she is very close to achieving her goal of becoming a veterinarian again. I am available on weekends, specifically from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM, and also on some weekdaysTuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Following the client's instructions and maintaining good, thorough communication with the owner is, I believe, the best way to ensure our service is efficient and safe—making sure not to overlook any details regarding the pet, such as medical conditions, special care needs, or behavioral traits.

About: As an adult I've had dogs for 25 years and counting. I've also volunteered at various shelters, and I am currently a volunteer for beagle rescue group where I foster and transport dogs as well as complete the home visits for potential adopters. I substitute teach and make my own schedule, so I have flexibility and availability for taking care of your pets. About: I worked at Bark University, a doggy daycare and groomer in Mundelein. I am also a Biology major at the University of Whitewater Wisconsin, where I plan to become an animal Rehabber and caretaker. I myself own two dogs currently, and one other in the past. My dad often goes on business trips that can last up to two weeks, leaving me to take care of my own dogs while he’s gone, so I’ve had lots of experience take care of them by myself. About: I've had my own dog since he was six, and now he's 14. From his puppy-like stage to being almost 90 in human years, I've taken care of him in all types of physicality. He was my first dog, but I took care of my friends' and neighbors' dogs since around 6th grade. I've taught him everything from shaking my hand, to weaving through my legs. My current job requires me to come in on an as-needed basis, typically on weekends, but only from 9-3. I have all the time in the world! My yard is not fenced, but we do have a long leash/rope that we keep our dog on when outside (he runs through invisible dog fences). My dog doesn't eat shoes and won't go on furniture unless allowed, so at night he just sleeps in a dog bed. I have worked with crate-trained dogs and always do my best to maintain the pet's daily lifestyle.
