My two pups were staying with her this weekend, and while one of my dogs was immediately very happy there, my other dog was very reactive and anxious around her dogs (this is normal for my dog - her dogs were great). Instead of it ruining our weekend, she pivoted and was so flexible and did drop in visits with our reactive/anxious dog. In the end, both of my dogs got what they wanted - Tilly got to stay and play and Sadie got to be comfortable at home, and got individualized attention. About: I worked at Bark University, a doggy daycare and groomer in Mundelein. I am also a Biology major at the University of Whitewater Wisconsin, where I plan to become an animal Rehabber and caretaker. I myself own two dogs currently, and one other in the past. I love taking care of them and showing them all the love possible. My dad often goes on business trips that can last up to two weeks, leaving me to take care of my own dogs while he’s gone, so I’ve had lots of experience take care of them by myself. In addition to this I have often taken care of family friends pets while they were out of town. I’m flexible as long as I know about the schedule a day in advance to help me plan my day. I’m mostly free but will say if I’m not otherwise. I give them lots of personal attention and care. I love showing my affection for pets with lots of petting and scratches. About: I grew up with a dog and loved him very much. He passed away, and the family has not yet gotten another, but I miss caring for a dog. I love all dogs and cats of any size and any animal, for that matter. I am incredibly attentive to animals and always love giving them care, even when they are not mine. I am almost always home and able to pet sit through the day and overnight. I am currently in college, but taking classes online, so I am constantly available to tend to your pet's needs. I am a very active person who can take your pet on walks or runs more than once each day if need be. We have three pet friendly kids to keep your pet happy and loved and a half fenced yard. Our home is about two thousand square feet and we will go on lots of walks! I have owned several dogs, cats and reptiles over the years. My fiancé has experience with rabbits as well. This is more about having pets around us than making extra money. About: I've had my own dog since he was six, and now he's 14. From his puppy-like stage to being almost 90 in human years, I've taken care of him in aall types of physicality. He was my first dog, but I took care of my friends' and neighbors' dogs since around 6th grade. I've taught him everything from shaking my hand, to weaving through my legs. My current job requires me to come in on an as-needed basis, typically on weekends, but only from 9-3. I have all the time in the world! My yard is not fenced, but we do have a long leash/rope that we keep our dog on when outside (he runs through invisible dog fences). My dog doesn't eat shoes and won't go on furniture unless allowed, so at night he just sleeps in a dog bed. I have worked with crate-trained dogs and always do my best to maintain the pet's daily lifestyle.

Instead of it ruining our weekend, she pivoted and was so flexible and did drop in visits with our reactive/anxious dog. In the end, both of my dogs got what they wanted - Tilly got to stay and play and Sadie got to be comfortable at home, and got individualized attention.
