About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in my 20s. I’ve also taken care of senior dogs, so I know how to handle their special care. I’m very experienced in feeding and grooming, and I love the companionship it brings to a family! I am a stay at home mom, and my husband works from home, so there’s always someone there to watch and play with your fur baby! We always have lots of time for walking and playing throughout the day. I have an extremely safe neighborhood with a little park about a 3 minute walk away, two kids that love playing with dogs, (15 and 8) and an extremely friendly mini goldendoodle!
“Elisa is the sweetest most thoughtful sitter! She provided a safe and loving home for my little dog and sent me the cutest pictures regularly throughout the day. She is the absolute best if you are looking for a deeply kind and gentle soul to create a safe place for your little one. Yay Elisa! ( and her sweet dog Fiona)”

About: I grew up with a dog and loved him very much. He passed away, and the family has not yet gotten another, but I miss caring for a dog. I love all dogs and cats of any size and any animal, for that matter. I am incredibly attentive to animals and always love giving them care, even when they are not mine. I am almost always home and able to pet sit through the day and overnight. I am currently in college, but taking classes online, so I am constantly available to tend to your pet's needs. I am a very active person who can take your pet on walks or runs more than once each day if need be. If your pet enjoys resting, I will also do it with them as I complete work on my computer and will pay close attention to them or snuggle with them if it's what they like. I will care for each pet depending on their specific needs, whether they need to have walks, use the bathroom often, or receive personal care. My home is very safe for pets, as it was already set up for a dog in the past with carpeted stairs and a yard to play in. The yard has a fence around part of it, but it is still open, so if I take your pet outside to play, I will use a leash and keep them in the yard safely separated from any danger. The only other person living in the home will be my mother, who is also an animal lover, but is generally at work during weekdays.
About: I have had dogs my entire life and love them so much! I have experience with puppies as well as our senior friends. Walks and playtime are my specialty! I work at home and am able to take great care of your pup. I have a yard and am close to a park for plenty of outside time. I can adjust to the routine your dog is used to. I am very flexible. I take one client at a time so my whole focus will be on your dog. Just let me know your needs.
About: I have had pets since I was 1 years old - whatever my parents let me get away with (dog, cats, fish, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs). As an adult I continue to own cats and dogs and currently own 2 cats. I will treat your pet as a member of my family while in my care. I nursed my cat to health from losing a kidney and he lived till he was 17yo. I nursed my geriatric dog with eye disease, arthritis until he was 14.5yo. I am more experienced with adult and geriatric pets than babies but welcome all. I am currently unemployed and seeking supplemental income. I'm also healing from CIRS/Lyme and need a walking partner to improve my health! My schedule is flexible although I do often have evening commitments with my son and his activities. My yard is large and fenced in. I live next to several walking trails and have a quiet neighborhood. I live close to a dog park and dog beach. I am familiar with crate training and administering medications.

I have a beautiful park nearby to walk your pup in a dog friendly environment. I follow Cesar Milan and use his techniques with trust, love and respect.

About: Dog boarding at The Mutt House in Mundelein! We just celebrated our 12 YEAR ANNIVERSARY here at The Mutt House ! It has been a wonderful adventure and I continue to enjoy meeting new families and their furry family members. I will send daily pictures and updates directly to your phone, so that you will have peace of mind while away! A few other things to note: 1) Dogs must be spayed/neutered to stay here. 2) Re: DOGS I CAN NOT BOARD: - I can not board dogs with anxiety issues or dogs that are not already socialized with other dogs. - I can not board Huskies, Pits or Pit Mixes, Guarding Breeds, Extreme High Energy Breeds (Australian Shepherd, Boarder Collie) 3) **Please no late drop offs. It takes a while for the dogs to adjust to each other and most settle down for the night by 8:00...so ideally before 5pm is appreciated...We can discuss at our meet and greet. 4) If you live within 10 miles of Mundelein, I am happy to pick up and drop off your dog for you. (Fee depends on distance ) I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you for your consideration. *********************************************** About my yard: Spacious fenced-in yard (see pictures). The fence is 6” tall and is routinely examined for safety. My experience administering medication: I am able to administer oral medications and injections. I am home all day- if anything, I may run out to the store or to pickup/drop off my children nearby. My focus is to be home for your dog. We have a safe yard in which I keep the gate locked at all times. We also have an extra “catch” gate going out to the garage so dogs can’t sneak out.
About: As an experienced, full time dog sitter, I'm here to provide your small to medium sized dog a safe, clean, & cozy home environment. If your dog is not comfortable in a kennel, I'm your answer. As a former paraprofessional for children with special needs, and a mom, I have the experience and loving heart to meet your dog's emotional and structural needs. BOARDING: The core of my business is overnight sitting in my smoke-free home environment. Your dog will get my love and attention all day and through the night. No crating unless you request it. Protected mealtimes, proper rest, and outdoor time in my fenced in backyard. Whether your dog sleeps in a crate, a floor bed, or in my bed, I am there with your dog all night long. My mission is to keep your dog happy and healthy, and give owners peace of mind. You will receive photos and updates by text messaging throughout your dog's stay. Check out my photo gallery! Resident dog, Hawkeye, is a "Teddy Bear", (mix of Shih Tzu, Bichon Frise, and Poodle). He does not shed, and is hypoallergenic. His personality is calm and relaxed, except when the garbage trucks come by. 😉 DAYCARE: Offered only as needed for existing customers. CHECK-IN SERVICES: If you have a larger dog or cats, I can stop by to let your dogs outside, provide food and water, & clean litter boxes. On an as needed basis only, not full time. ABOUT ME: I love getting to know and care for guest dogs, and have been living with and learning about dogs for over 8 years as an owner, and over 7 years as a host. A love for dogs (and all animals) is so natural, enjoyable, and rewarding for me. My approach with dogs is based on the philosophy of Temple Grandin's “Animals in Translation” research to fulfill a dog's emotional needs first. Prior to this, for 5 years, I was a paraprofessional with the Special Education District of Lake County (SEDOL). I have experience in ABA therapy for children with autism, positive reinforcement, crisis management, and classroom management. Pet care IS my daily routine. Your pet will settle in quickly as she/he always has a person to depend on, and my friendly dog keeping watch over her/him. Your dog will enjoy outdoor freedom, fresh cold filtered water, protected meal times, comfy beds and furniture for lounging, and a nice lady who cares as much about your peace of mind as she does about your precious pet. A safe environment is a must, that’s why I have a fenced in yard, and a three door system for entering and leaving the house. I keep a clean house too.
About: I am in the externship portion of completing my professional dog training certification. I am passionate about the human/canine bond and have experience with most breeds, ages, and temperaments of dogs. I’ve spent time walking dogs for a company, on my own, in a shelter environment, and working in doggy daycare. I love to bond with dogs and learn what makes them feel safe and loved. I am currently completing my professional dog training certification and can offer services most days and times of the week. Reach out for additional questions on availability! I believe the pet parent knows what works best for their pet. I follow instructions very carefully and provide updates often. Safety and comfort of your pet are my top priorities!
