Before any sitting arrangement, I'd love to know about your pet's daily routine, dietary needs, any allergies or medications, and their temperament around strangers or other animals. If they have a favorite toy, a quirky habit, or something that makes them nervous, I want to know that too — the more I know ahead of time, the smoother and more comfortable the experience is for your pet. If your pet has any medical needs, please don't hesitate to share. I'm experienced with medications and special care, so nothing is too much to ask.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active and engaged! I enjoy taking dogs on long walks and mixing in some training along the way — whether that's reinforcing commands they already know or working on something new. For more playful pets I'm always up for a good game, whether that's fetch, tug, or just running around together. I tailor activities to the pet's age and energy level, so a senior dog gets a relaxed stroll while a younger pup gets the full adventure.

Pet care experience
I've been caring for animals since 2017, and my experience goes far beyond the average pet sitter. Over the years I've worked with dogs, cats, kittens, puppies, chickens, ducks, guineas, turkeys, parrots, snakes, rabbits, and even a litter of newborn kittens — so whatever your pet's personality or species, I'm comfortable! What really sets me apart is my experience with medical and special needs care. I've administered pill medications to cats, dogs, and even turkeys, used asthma inhalers for senior dogs, handled wound care, and taken pets to routine vet appointments on behalf of owners. I've cared for elderly dogs in their final stages of life, where comfort and quality of life were the priority. I've also worked with professionally trained K9s, including a narcotics dog from a marine base, maintaining their behavioral routines and keeping up with their specialized care requirements. I've managed households with dogs that couldn't be in the same space as each other, handling separation protocols safely and calmly. I'm a hands-on, attentive sitter who keeps your pet's routine consistent, sends regular photo updates, and is always happy to do a meet and greet before any booking. In fact, I insist! I have my own transportation and genuinely love what I do — caring for animals has been my favorite work for nearly a decade. Your pet is in experienced hands.

Rayzel was fantastic for our five cats. She just really loves animals, so she spent a lot more time playing with them than we would have hoped for. She sent LOTS of updates and messages, and it was clear she understood the personality of each one. She was wonderful dealing with the one who needs medicine daily, and she got our extremely skittish one out of her shell. We recommend her very highly!
Rayzel was amazing! My expectations were more than met, and my dog was bitter to have me back. If anyone is looking for someone confident with being around animals, or someone that will go the extra mile to assure your peace of mind with your dog/cat/(insert animal) Rayzel is an exceptional person.
