About: My doggies taught me everything I know. They are no longer here - they went to doggy heaven and we miss them all the time. My teens and I have a lot love to give and want to share with your doggy. You can rest assured we would treat your doggy as if it were ours. Also, anything under 10.5 miles for more than 1 day I offer pick up and dropp off. I work from home and have a very tight routine in our home that will help your pet feel calm and secure. Since pets thrive on routine it will bring them peace and calmness. I can give extra walks when it's a nice day and make sure we stay active if need or relaxed and enjoying a lazy "dog day". I have a quiet, grassy backyard that gives dogs a calm place to sniff, stretch their legs, and enjoy fresh air. It's a low-stress space that's great for potty breaks and relaxed outdoor time. I'm very mindful of which dogs are a good fit for my space and always put safety and comfort first so that your pups feel happy and at ease while they're with me. Doggies are allowed on our beds and couches and even our bathrooms :) - we keep a light sense of humor

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in my 20s. I’ve also taken care of senior dogs, so I know how to handle their special care. I’m very experienced in feeding and grooming, and I love the companionship it brings to a family! I am a stay at home mom, and my husband works from home, so there’s always someone there to watch and play with your fur baby! We always have lots of time for walking and playing throughout the day. I have an extremely safe neighborhood with a little park about a 3 minute walk away, two kids that love playing with dogs, (15 and 8) and an extremely friendly mini goldendoodle!

About: I have had dogs my entire life. I have been the go to for friends and family members when they travel because I have had such a flexible schedule during my career. I am now retired so I can spoil your fur baby 24/7. I have experience with my "nephew" a very large male german shepard all the way down to my soul dog, 8 lb Ellie Mae and everything in between. Multiple dogs is not an issue either. I have watched up to three dogs all with different schedules and needs. I will also leave your house as clean if not cleaner than when you left. I would consider it an honor for you to trust me with both. I have been retired for five years which means I will only be focusing on your dogs happiness and safety. I have been busy on the trusted housesitters site for over a year and have travelled the US visiting friends and family and falling in love with many dogs and taking care of some great homes. I have plenty of references available for you as I transition to this platform. I currently don't have any animals so I'm able to give yours my undivided attention I will take your lead, and the dogs, as to what you require. I love to walk for miles, I love to be outdoors and play fetch and I also appreciate a good chill on the couch. If you dog likes to ride in the car we can go get a pup cup and stick our head out the window. Whatever rules, requirements or special needs your fur baby requires I am able to provide. I will never be gone more that four hours at an absolute maximum and that would be a rarity just depending if I am in a new area and want to explore a little. If it is local to this Chicago/Northern IL area been there/done that.

About: I promise to love your fur baby like my own! I have 3 pets currently, who are very social and love other animals. Currently we have a 6-year-old beagle mix, Ellie, who is my sidekick; Tweetie Pie, my black cat who is my twin flame, and Little Foot, my 5-year-old crested gecko. I love all animals and treat each as family. I am currently unemployed, and my fiancé works from home, so we are both always around and I take my dog Ellie on daily walks. Tending to animals is very much a part of our daily routines, and I want to help others who don't have the time like I do right now. If you are looking to board your pet in our home, he/she will have two new friends to vacation with! We have a two bedroom apartment with a dog and cat, so we are flexible with whatever is most comfortable to the owner! We have dog sat for our friends many times and kept a crate in the second bedroom, but also have had them sleep in our bed with us. I am dedicated to simply ensuring the animal feels safe and comfortable.

About: I've taken care of my dog since he was 5. He was a joy, and since then I have been deeply passionate about making sure any dog lives a happy and safe life. I can guarantee you I will put YOUR PET'S safety first. I am a vigilant caretaker, and will do my best to provide your dog with all they need! I go to work on weekdays and will be home by 2pm. I will be home on weeke ds to take care of your pet. I am vigilant about schedules, and I will be home in the evening and early morning to help out with crating and food if necessary. I have a large townhouse with plenty of room to run around. Our neighborhood is very pet-friendly, and walking your pet at any hour is no problem! A forest preserve 5min away that we walk dogs in almost daily, with free play areas. It will be used regularly, and walks in the preserve on everyday. We cannot provide crates, but will be happy to use your crate for your dog at night if you specify!

About: I have lived with and played with dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a German Shepard, and later on, two cats. I started caring for dogs as an adult in 2023. I have experience pet sitting, dog walking, and playing with dogs and cats. I have a love for animals all shapes and sizes, and will make your pets' needs a top priority. I'm currently home from school. I work a part time job as a server on weekday nights. I also have a remote class Tuesday afternoons. About: For the past 16 years, I've had the privilege of caring for the beloved pets of my family and friends. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. My parents have two Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) dogs who require plenty of attention, exercise, and interaction. Whenever my parents travel—often for several weeks at a time—I stay in their home to care for them. During that time, I provide multiple daily walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. I also carefully follow their routine, including administering daily medications and any special care instructions. I also have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, reassuring environment. Additionally, I cared for a rescue dog with PTSD and, over time, earned their trust to the point where they felt comfortable approaching me for affection. Experiences like these have taught me the value of allowing animals to build trust at their own pace. Cats have been a part of my life for the past 16 years as well. I've cared for cats with a wide range of personalities, from playful kittens and affectionate cuddlers to independent cats and senior companions with special needs. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I helped clean, socialize, play with, and care for the cats to help them feel safe and comfortable while waiting for their forever homes.
