Deirdre was able to administer all of the medications, stick to the strict food regimen, come by every 2 hours to check in, and even cleaned up all of the accidents from my sick pup. :/ She kept me updated throughout the trip with texts and pictures, asked questions when needed, and when my other dog sitter fell through at last minute, she was able to rearrange her schedule to cover. About: I’ve been a hands-on dog owner for the past 5 years and currently have a Labrador Retriever, so I understand the daily care, attention, and love dogs need to thrive. Through raising my own dog, I’ve gained experience with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic training reinforcement, and recognizing changes in behavior or mood. In addition, I’ve pet sat a puppy for two weeks, providing consistent care, supervision, and plenty of patience during an important developmental stage. I’m comfortable following specific instructions and routines to make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while their owner is away. Pet care is a regular part of my daily and weekly routine. I structure my schedule around feeding times, walks, play sessions, and rest periods to ensure pets feel comfortable and secure. Since I already care for my own dog, adding another pet into my routine is seamless, and I make sure each pet receives individualized attention and care. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on maintaining a safe, calm, and loving environment. I follow each pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and rest so they feel comfortable and at home. I provide plenty of supervision, exercise, and affection, and I make sure pets are introduced slowly and safely if needed. Clean water, a tidy space, and regular updates to owners are always a priority.
