She was patient and loving and both took to her the moment she came to our house to meet them. Even though both cats can be quite timid, they really explored her big house and seemed very content there. About: For the past 16 years, I've had the privilege of caring for the beloved pets of my family and friends. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. My parents have two Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) dogs who require plenty of attention, exercise, and interaction. Whenever my parents travel—often for several weeks at a time—I stay in their home to care for them. During that time, I provide multiple daily walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. I also carefully follow their routine, including administering daily medications and any special care instructions. I also have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, reassuring environment. Additionally, I cared for a rescue dog with PTSD and, over time, earned their trust to the point where they felt comfortable approaching me for affection. Experiences like these have taught me the value of allowing animals to build trust at their own pace. Cats have been a part of my life for the past 16 years as well. I've cared for cats with a wide range of personalities, from playful kittens and affectionate cuddlers to independent cats and senior companions with special needs. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I helped clean, socialize, play with, and care for the cats to help them feel safe and comfortable while waiting for their forever homes. Whether I'm caring for dogs or cats, my goal is always the same: to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where every pet feels comfortable, cared for, and treated like family. As a full-time student with a flexible schedule, I'm able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including daytime visits, evening care, weekends, and many last-minute bookings. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet will be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I'm currently a full-time sonography student completing my clinical rotations. Before returning to school, I worked in the medical field, most recently at a cancer center, where I developed a strong commitment to providing compassionate, attentive care. “I cannot say enough positive things about Christina. This was my first time ever using a cat sitter service. I travel overseas during the holidays and have always only trusted my friends to check on my cats. I needed extra help during my last trip over Christmas last year. I did a lot of research and after much anxiety and nervousness I reached out to Christina. From the very start before I left until I returned home, Christina was amazing. She was patient with my many many questions. She put me at ease right away. She gave me great advice but made it clear that the decisions were all up to me and the cats. She was incredibly flexible and was more than willing to adjust the schedule as I needed. She always replied immediately and was reassuring, honest, kind, and trustworthy. Never for one minute did I worry about the cats or my home. One of my cats has diabetes and even though I had a cat nurse visit to administer the insulin, Christina was happy to document the feeding schedule and keep the nurse updated as necessary too. It was a lot to handle and it was all handled perfectly. She also helped me with watering my plants and checking my mail AND went out and bought extra food for one of my cats when his food ran out! The best part of course was when she met the cats. They both took to her immediately, even my younger cat who is very curious but also very nervous. When I was gone on my trip, Christina sent me daily photos and updates. All of her posts made me feel safe and secure and also entertained because she was bonding more and more with them. When I returned the cats were extremely well as was the house and she met me the next day to return my keys. I highly recommend Christina for taking care of your furry family members and home. About: I've grown up looking and caring for puppies to senior dogs. Went to college and did veterinary classes to help take care of them better. when I graduated I interned at a Zoo where I thought the public about various animals and cared for the education animals! Safety is so important that I try to work it into my daily schedule. I work with my own dog on being examined on his eyes, ears, etc. to decrease stress at vet appointments. I am always watching him while he's out in my fenced in backyard as well. I check the environment of hazards multiple times a week. whether that be checking the home for things pets can choke on or make them sick or outside for other hazards.
