About: Hi! I am a Senior at Lake Forest College studying Psychology on a pre-nursing track. I grew up in Boise, Idaho surrounded by animals, both my own and others’. Growing up I had a high-energy dog, many hamsters, a leopard gecko, and a cat. I also spent my entire high school career volunteering at my local humane society, working with both dogs and cats. This has given me experience with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. Currently, I dog and cat sit regularly for a few families. You can trust me with your pets like they are my own. About: I have had pets since I was 1 years old - whatever my parents let me get away with (dog, cats, fish, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs). As an adult I continue to own cats and dogs and currently own 2 cats. I will treat your pet as a member of my family while in my care. I nursed my cat to health from losing a kidney and he lived till he was 17yo. I nursed my geriatric dog with eye disease, arthritis until he was 14.5yo. I am more experienced with adult and geriatric pets than babies but welcome all. I am seeking supplemental income due to healthcare expenses. I'm also healing from CIRS/Lyme and need a walking partner to improve my health! My schedule is flexible although I do often have evening commitments with my son and his activities. My yard is large and fenced in. I live next to several walking trails and have a quiet neighborhood. I live close to a dog park and dog beach. I am familiar with crate training and administering medications.

I am trustworthy, flexible and go above and beyond for your furry friend. Just as I would take care of my own! I’ve worked professionally as a pet sitter including drop ins, long walks and over two weeks at my clients home. Taking care of your home as much and I do your pet! I am a lover of all animals but more than that, I am comfortable with elderly dogs, dogs with special needs, medicated pups and those that are a bit anxious. About: Why do I do what I do? Because there's no feeling like receiving that first tail wag, head bump, or slobbery kiss. My calling is to advocate for the ones who can't do it themselves and to care for them. Having 6 cats and some reptiles of my own and being a Veterinary Technician is what my life consists of and I love it. Being a Veterinary Technician aids me in many ways while pet sitting. Being able to read animals body language and understand their ways of communicating allow me to bond and build trust with my pet friends. I'm comfortable with all breeds, temperaments, special needs, and feline friends(spicy ones too). Building that bond with all my furry friends is what brings joy to my soul.
