“Abby is a fantastic pet sitter! This was her third time watching our cats and we can't thank her enough for the peace of mind we get when we know she is watching them. She makes sure everyone gets the right food and the cats love her. We'll be working with her again in the future! Thanks Abby!”

“Did a great job cat-sitting PJ while we were away for about a month ! He warmed up to her pretty quickly and it looked like they had a great time together :D All her pictures and updates about him were great and told me everything I needed to know. My cat did eat part of a plant I had forgotten to move out of reach before leaving, entirely my fault, but Angelina handled the situation perfectly. He had to be taken to the vet and get some meds to take home. She made the whole process a lot less scary for me and for my cat, and was very professional and on top of things. She even had a vet recommendation for us, as we are new in town. Litterally could not have asked for a better sitter for my boy, and will definitely book her again.”
“Luciana was fantastic! She came by on short notice to get acquainted with my two cats and my home before I had to leave unexpectedly for an emergency trip. Throughout my time away, she kept me updated on how my pets were doing and regularly sent photos, which gave me great peace of mind. Overall, I’m extremely happy with her care and professionalism, and I highly recommend her services.”

“Thea was so meticulous and empathetic to my cat’s needs during my time away. She also provided adorable photos, videos and notes. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great catsitter or dogsitter!”

About: Why should I be your sitter?? Great question! I have been an animal lover and pet owner my whole life. I have sitter experience for family, friends and neighbors spanning over 20 plus years. I aim to be very responsive and typically get back to interested clients in under 10 mins. I will provide multiple pictures and videos of any visit! I genuinely love spending time with animals and feel like it is not work to give pets a better life and great care. I specialize in: 1. Senior pets! I love our older furry friends and have many years of experience with medications, dietary needs and comfort for older dogs and cats. 2. Anxious pets! Animals that have separation anxiety, need boundaries when on walks ie. No petting, or triggers like thunderstorms. I have owned pets that have all of the above and sit for them as well. 3. Puppies and kittens! I know many are working on training plans that need a strict adherence. I am happy to work with goals you have for your young learners :) I believe that pets are members of our family and want to give every animal the support they need! If you need references, please reach out! I look forward to caring for your family :) I currently make my own hours so I am flexible to any schedule! I can be available for drop ins or any variety of sitting needs! I have experience with crate training and medication administration. I have watched animals with a variety of behavioral support as well. I am open to meeting your pet where they are at.
“A big thank you to Leora for taking wonderful care of Mochi! I really appreciate how easy she is to talk to and how great she is with my cat. She takes good pictures, too!”

“Brianna is a wonderful sitter. She took such great care of our two cats. She went above and beyond not only with our cats, but also bringing in our mail and offering to come back if there was anything else we needed. We felt very comfortable having her in our home and will definitely be using her again. Thanks, Brianna!”
“Nataliia was wonderful! She took the time out of her day to meet with our 3 year old dog to get acquainted. She came to the 1 hour drop in a little early and stayed a little over to ensure that our dog was well taken care of and had everything she needed before leaving. We will definitely be booking with her in the future.”

“Gabrielle is incredible! She takes great care of our 10 year old lab, leaves details notes and is great with communication. She is definitely our go to dog sitter!”

“Jason communicated beyond expectation when dropping in to feed and walk my dog. Jason was kind enough to meet ahead of time to do a quick walk through and get the key. Thank you Jason for your diligence!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was little and I love being able to go on walks and let an animal walk and explore at the same time. I’ve worked with energetic dogs and dogs that like to take their time while walking. I do work a part time job so my afternoons are mostly free. I can do evening walks or really early in the morning everyday. When I check their food I always give fresh water and make sure they have everything they need. I’ll also sit with them for a bit so they have some company and can play with a ball or toy that I can throw for them.
About: I truly love animals and have years of hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs through rescue work. I’ve helped with feeding cat colonies, TNR efforts, and supporting dog rescues, which has taught me how to be patient and attentive with animals of all personalities. I’m especially good with shy or nervous pets and always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Pet care is already a natural part of my routine. I’m used to planning my days around feeding, checking in on animals, and making sure they’re comfortable and cared for. Because of my experience helping with rescues and caring for animals regularly, it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. I make sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need while their owners are away. I always follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding on schedule, fresh water, walks or playtime, litter box or potty breaks, and plenty of attention and affection. I also pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs to make sure they feel safe and cared for while their owner is away. My goal is to treat every pet like my own and keep their environment calm and familiar. 🐾

Absolute lifesaver. My cat got tangled in a shopping bag while I was out, and I was panicking. Jason responded immediately, got to my place fast, freed my cat, and kept me updated the whole time. So grateful for his quick thinking in an emergency - can’t recommend him enough!

We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! She took wonderful care of all three of our cats and gave each of them plenty of attention, care, and affection. We came home to three happy, relaxed cats and had complete peace of mind while we were away. We highly recommend Abigail and would happily have her care for our cats again!
Abigail is a great cat sitter. She made a point of visiting our apartment before she started looking after Dash, which put us at ease. She kept us updated on him with photos and observations. She even offered to stop by outside the scheduled time to refill his water. I recommend her!

Jenny was wonderful! She took such great care of my two kitties while I was away, and when I came home, they both looked happy and well cared for. She was reliable, caring, and made me feel very comfortable knowing my cats were in good hands. I really appreciate everything she did and would definitely book her again. Highly recommend! ❤️

Erica is so kind and understanding of my cats unique personalities. Much like all cats they each have their own attitudes and she tunes into them with acceptance and kindness! I came home to happy healthy babies. Thank you so much Erica! Will definitely see you next time.

Gabrielle was a wonderful sitter for the week that I had her drop in on my 2 cats. My cats are 16 and 13 and are definitely in house cats. One is friendly and the other is skittish and shy. One needed meds. She visited them and gave daily feedback and sent pictures. She also administered the meds, fed them and cleaned the litter. She even watered my large plant. She exceeded my expectations. I will use her again and recommend her wholeheartedly.

This is the second time I booked Elizabeth to take care of our cats. She is extremely thorough in her notes, takes several photos, and is extremely kind and dependable. She also goes above and beyond to make sure packages are taken in, etc without me even asking! I can’t recommend her enough! I look forward to rebooking with her again next time I travel!!

Paige went above and beyond. She cared for our cats with such attention, stayed flexible when plans shifted, and looked after the house as if it were her own. She even helped us with a few issues and small chores along the way. We’re grateful for her care and support.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
