“This is my first time using Rover & Emily has made it a great experience! She was able to answer all of our questions before hand and when it came to taking care of our pup, she was very communicative throughout! I also appreciated all the pictures! It was clear my dog felt very comfortable with her! Will highly rebook again!”

“The amount of communication provided by Elizabeth really put our minds at ease that our pets were getting the best care. The level of detail she provided is second only to how much care she gave our dogs. Will absolutely be hiring her again!”

“Wendy is wonderful! When I forgot to give my other pet sitter a key to the front door’s bottom lock, she was a huge help in making sure the issue got sorted. Even though I told her she could leave after feeding and scooping litter for my very shy cat, Wendy would still stay and listen to music for the full half-hour visit so Tawny wouldn’t feel as alone. So professional and so nice! Highly recommend her.”

“Nicole is a kind and lovely person. She was able to come early in the morning as requested. She was a thorough communicator and she even cleaned up a couple of messes! She was meeting my cats for the first time and tried hard to connect. I will definitely use her services again.”

“Allison did an absolutely outstanding job taking care of my cats while I was away. She was communicative, friendly and sent great pictures. My cats adored her! Highly recommend and will definitely use again.”

About: I have hands on experience caring for pets as I have grown up with two dogs of my own. One of my dogs has epilepsy so I understand the importance of monitoring and caring for pets with medical needs. I have also been trusted to take care of friends, family, and neighbors pets. I have developed an understanding of what it takes to keep pets happy and healthy I am a college student so I will only be available over the summer and during breaks. Pet care is something that is incorporated into my daily routine and I have flexibility to plan my day around making sure that every pet is cared for. Your pets safety and well-being are my top priorities. I make sure to keep a close eye on them during walks and keep them in a safe environment. I follow routines clearly to make sure pets receive the correct care and keep them feeling comfortable.

About: I am a person that loves all animals. Some pet parents will leave a small list of the schedule I need to follow. Whenever I come to hang with the cuties I’m always snapping pics and sending them to the pet parents. Just so everyone knows they are in good hands. Whatever it is that y’all need me to do I make sure to get the job done. Sometimes when I babysit if the parents need me to let the dogs out and feed them then I do it. So cats/dogs will get fed and taken out, we will play ball and have a load of fun. I promise I don’t bite and am very easy to talk to. If anyone ever has any questions feel free to ask!
“I felt comfortable with Kayla immediately and my cats took to her right away. She is friendly, personable , and really eased the stress from leaving our cats longer than usual. She kept me updated and we will definitely use Kayla again if we leave for any length of time.”

“Nancy loves animals! This was apparent during our meet and greet as well as in the videos she sent of my loudly purring cat while she was petting and brushing her. She was quick to respond to initial inquiry and available to meet at a time convenient to me. My cat was mellow on my return. All was in order per my instructions and she left a nice, informative note. Will absolutely use Nancy again when I go out of town.”

About: Hi, I’m Genesis. I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant for four years and now pet sit full-time. That experience taught me how to care for all kinds of pets. Shy, energetic, senior, or on medication. I work a part-time job Monday through Friday from 10am–4pm. I leave the house for work during those hours, but outside of that time I am fully available and spend the majority of my day with your pet, making sure they get plenty of attention, care, and exercise. With a background in veterinary medicine, I’m always keeping an eye out for anything that might be unsafe. Whether it’s dropped food, chewed-up toys, or open doors. I don’t allow dogs to meet other dogs while out on walks, and I never do any off-leash activities unless it’s in a securely fenced yard with your approval. I keep things calm, clean, and consistent, and I’m comfortable handling anything from minor issues to emergencies if they come up. Your pet will be in good, experienced hands.
“Tina is great with our puppy. She asks questions to make sure she is consistent with the phrases and training we are doing. She takes lots of pictures each visit and our puppy seems to love her.”

We came home to two happy cats :) If you want to have someone of good character watch your precious little ones, Nicole should be your choice!”

“Erica was great with our Lola! She was on time for the drop-ins, sent us many pictures and updates each visit. Lola was very comfortable with her and she really enjoyed her company.”

About: I'm a registered nurse meaning I only work 3 nights a week and have tons of free time to take care of your fur baby. I grew up with pups all my life and currently have a Golden Retriever named Olaf. I truly aim to provide the best care for your pup, tailored to his or her needs! I have experience with dogs of all sizes as well. I am very active with my dog as we go on runs, beach swim days, and more on a daily basis. If your dog has lots of energy, I am willing to provide adequate amounts of fun exercise to satisfy their needs. If your dog is more chill, I have no problems lounging around, taking walks, and so on! I am very careful around other dogs and make sure to cross the street if there is another dog or person nearby to avoid any negative interactions! I work 3 days a week, 3pm-3am. I am available for walks in the mornings/afternoons and all day on my off days. Boarding is not an issue as someone is home when I am working :) I have gates to separate pets in various areas of the home. I live in a split level so there are three floors for dogs to have their own space, if needed.

About: I've had dogs my whole life and adore them as well as many other species (except snakes). I am a certified virtual dog trainer and currently accepting longer house sits. Currently, I am studying dog naturopathy and help out at Bordertails Animal Rescue. I volunteered at The Humane Society of Southern Illinois for 5 years where I exercised animals and taught them tricks, so they were more likely to be adopted... then I got really into the show, "The Dog Whisperer" and “Pitbulls & Parolees”. I I can be highly active, yet remain calm and assertive when giving commands. I practice positive reinforcement and use a no-force approach. With exercise and attention being important, I provide both (in accordance to limits and individual needs), and I will follow the rules you have in place all while loving them to pieces. I am happy to cuddle, if they're into that, and respect their pace by reading the dogs body language. I find dog psychology fascinating and by the end of 2025 I’ll have competed my Dog Training Certification program through GoodPup and be offering virtual dog training! My one rule is that I do not accept in person visits with mature pets with a history of attacking a human previously. I tend to accept longer term house stays when working remotely, and nearby recurring walks/ drop-ins. Feel free to reach out and tell me more about your needs. Thanks for reading! I enjoy the presence of animals, and caring for them. I have a lot of experience exercising with dogs, and cuddling them whenever they are near and desire to be cuddled of course. I know most dogs love being petted, but some don't and I respect each dog as an individual. Being present with them and paying attention to their needs. For the time being, I am only offering services in your home, and some dog walking. In the future, I may add boarding as a service and you can always inquire.

I cannot recommend Liz enough! Leaving out cats alone when we go on trips is the biggest stress for me, but I felt completely at ease knowing that Liz was checking in on them. We loved her attentiveness and the cute picture check ins she would send us every day. She went above and beyond for our babies and I am so happy we have a sitter who we can trust while we are away.

Emily is the best pet sitter! She gave thorough report cards of her drop-in visits and the cutest pic updates of our two kitties. I can tell she truly loves pets and treated ours like she would her own. Will definitely hire her for any future pet sitting needs.

Wendy is wonderful!
