About: As a lifelong animal lover, I have 8 years of experience as a dog owner and 2 years of experience as a cat owner. I also worked at Petco during college, where I gained valuable knowledge about pet care, behavior, and the unique needs of different animals. I know how serious it is to care for dogs and cats, and I will treat your pets just as if they were my own: they will get their meals, their bathroom breaks, their walks, and their play time, just as you request.

About: Hello! My name is Carlee, I’m 26, and I’m offering home visits and dog walking in Arlington Heights and it’s surrounding neighborhoods! I’ve had a passion for wildlife since childhood, and I’ve cared for all sorts of animals from hamsters to horses. I’ve been around dogs of all ages and sizes, but I have the strongest experience with adults/seniors and small dogs. My childhood dog was a mini dachshund who developed dementia and mobility issues in her old age; I was an adult by then and took much care of her. I often pet-sit or do home visits for my family and friends, but this will be my first time using a company like Rover to meet new people and animals! My years of experience reflect my pet-care experience in adulthood. Looking forward to getting to know you and your pets :) I have completely open availability as I’m currently not working. I can come by any day at any time to help care for your pets! I can stop by just to feed your pet and/or let them go potty, take them for a walk, play with and accompany them for a time, or do a combination of these. About: I have cared for animals ever since I can remember. I am a huge animal lover so I had/have a lot of different pets: Cats, dogs, a ferret, hamsters, lizards, and fish! I am going into junior year for college as a double major in Biology and Animal Ecology. I was involved in an animal training class for two semester where I helped/observed dog training. I was a Kennel Attendant for 3 months at an Animal Hospital, have interned there for 2 Summers, and am working as a veterinary assistant this Summer! I am working part time as a Veterinary Assistant Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I am volunteering at a Parrot pet store in the mornings on Wednesdays and Fridays. About: Ive owned a black lab/German shepherd a long time ago. I also have a chihuahua/toy poodle. I'd say the size of a dog doesn't matter and they're all fun to look after. I have two jobs mon-friday for the entire day. Bus driving Preschoolers morning and afternoon and UPS in the evening. I am only available Saturday morning/afternoon and Sunday afternoon/evenings. I like to sit and or lay next to dogs. Im pretty good at walking dogs for a long time. I also make sure they get playtime

About: Johnny has had an english bulldog for 10 years and Jessica grew up her whole life with beagles. We are the perfect couple to take care of your dog sitting/walking/boarding needs! We are available pretty much anytime but Tuesdays and Wednesdays just give us a little heads up! We work from home other days and are free on weekends 2 floor ranch style house with a fenced in yard, peaceful quiet block with the friendliest chubby english bulldog. Also huge park 2 blocks away. We have also dogsat at family members homes many times

About: I have a friendly 5 year old labradoodle. Our dog loves other dogs! I will treat your dog like he/she is our own- with tender loving care! I am home daily and my husband works from home a few days a week. I have a family who very much enjoys interacting with the dogs.. I can take your dog on 1-2 walks a day, plus backyard play multiple times day. We have a fenced in yard. And we have wonderful neighbors who also love and have dogs, next door and behind us. We like to hide treats in the backyard for the dogs to find!

About: My wife and I own 4 furbabies- 2 dogs and 2 cats. If that doesn't tell you how much I love animals, not sure what does? lol. My female is a reactive dog so I have plenty of experience loving and caring for dogs who need extra attention to minimize their anxiety and triggers. My two dogs weigh 75 and 105 pounds so again, not a stranger to large breeds but love all breeds just the same. I can be relied upon for long walks, consistent training (positive reinforcement) and loving nurture as if they are my own family members. I stress family members because that's what they are. My dogs and cats are my children and treated as such. I plan to treat yours the same. I work full time but have the ability to carve out my own scheduling. This gives me just about as much flexibility as needed to handle requests, cancellations and last minute additions, etc. My own home/yard is completely fenced in with privacy fences, however, I would prefer to use clients' home as my 2 dogs and 2 cats keep my own full. However, with notice, arrangements can be made to create the space for a reactive dog, etc. On walks, I use positive reinforcement for treats during "check ins" and never interact with other dogs or people (unless otherwise instructued) Walks for dogs can be exploratory, giving them ample time for new smells, potty breaks, etc. Or they can be exercise focused, lengthy and at a constant pace- again, at the discretion of the owners.

About: Hi, I’m Genesis. I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant for four years and now pet sit full-time. That experience taught me how to care for all kinds of pets. Shy, energetic, senior, or on medication. I work a part-time job Monday through Friday from 10am–4pm. I leave the house for work during those hours, but outside of that time I am fully available and spend the majority of my day with your pet, making sure they get plenty of attention, care, and exercise. With a background in veterinary medicine, I’m always keeping an eye out for anything that might be unsafe. Whether it’s dropped food, chewed-up toys, or open doors. I don’t allow dogs to meet other dogs while out on walks, and I never do any off-leash activities unless it’s in a securely fenced yard with your approval. I keep things calm, clean, and consistent, and I’m comfortable handling anything from minor issues to emergencies if they come up. Your pet will be in good, experienced hands.

About: Veterinary student at the university of Illinois. I grew up with dogs and have always been around dogs and cats! I have experience in basic care, medical care and even some training. I have a 6mo golden retriever puppy with me as well. I am currently not in school and am working flexible hours at an animal hospital! I am free most evenings and weekends! So I can adjust to most schedules I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly golden retriever that loves to play, but will also chill out if that’s what your pet prefers! I enjoy walks, playing and keeping your pet not only supervised but also entertained!

About: I love dogs! I've grown up around dogs all my life. From working dogs to lap dogs, I've dealt and cared for all types! Family in the north west has hunting dogs, while here in chicago my family and I have dog sat for friends numerous times. I've cared for Chihuahuas, collies, labs, mini schnauzers, labridoodles, mini pinchers, and a fair number of mixed breeds. I've had years of experience caring and loving dogs/pets. I've personally had dogs, cats, fish, ferrets, snakes, and rats! I am a huge animal lover. I'm available all day to care for your fur babies and take any necessary means to make sure you get the quality care you and your dog deserve. I'm do any special requirements needed, too!

About: I've had dogs my whole life and adore them as well as many other species (except snakes). I am a certified virtual dog trainer and currently accepting longer house sits. Currently, I am studying dog naturopathy and help out at Bordertails Animal Rescue. I volunteered at The Humane Society of Southern Illinois for 5 years where I exercised animals and taught them tricks, so they were more likely to be adopted... then I got really into the show, "The Dog Whisperer" and “Pitbulls & Parolees”. I I can be highly active, yet remain calm and assertive when giving commands. I practice positive reinforcement and use a no-force approach. With exercise and attention being important, I provide both (in accordance to limits and individual needs), and I will follow the rules you have in place all while loving them to pieces. I am happy to cuddle, if they're into that, and respect their pace by reading the dogs body language. I find dog psychology fascinating and by the end of 2025 I’ll have competed my Dog Training Certification program through GoodPup and be offering virtual dog training! My one rule is that I do not accept in person visits with mature pets with a history of attacking a human previously. I tend to accept longer term house stays when working remotely, and nearby recurring walks/ drop-ins. Feel free to reach out and tell me more about your needs. Thanks for reading! For the time being, I am only offering services in your home, and some dog walking. In the future, I may add boarding as a service and you can always inquire.
