About: I've owned and cared for dogs since I was 6 years old. One of my childhood dogs, a silky terrier named Minnie, lived to be 16 years old. I have experience taking care of dogs of all ages, sizes, and needs. My current dog, a mutt named Cali, is leash reactive and requires special attention on walks. No matter what kind of care your dog needs, I am able to provide it. I can also provide care for other pets such as cats, fish, frogs, geckos, etcetera. I am very flexible on evenings and weekends to provide care as well as some early mornings during the week. Even though I have a full time job outside of pet care, I want to dedicate as much time as possible taking care of animals. Your dog's safety is my priority, and we will either play outside in your fully fenced in backyard or take a walk in an area safe for us. I can handle many different behaviors for leashed dogs including dog reactivity, squirrel or small animal chasing, etcetera.

About: I’ve been pet sitting dogs, cats, and small exotic pets for over a decade! I initially gained professional dog-handling experience from dog daycares/kennels. Then I became a vet tech and have worked in emergency care as well as general practice for a few years. I love taking care of pets in their own homes and do whatever I can to keep your pet on their normal routine while you’re gone! I'm comfortable with canines, felines, small animals, old, young, and everyone in between! Let me come care for your pets in the comfort of their own space, I will love them like they are my own. I petsit and dog walking for a living, so I will prioritize each visit on my schedule. I organize my schedule to accommodate each clients needs and am open and communicative should there be any last minute changes to the agreement. I take safety very seriously. I keep doors locked behind me unless told otherwise. I make sure if we’re going outside that the leash/harness is secure, and I don’t allow other people or pets to approach us on walks for safety. I’m Fear Free certified which means I’ve taken courses on body language and how to interact with dogs specifically.

About: Currently, I have two cats. I've had a dog, but before that, I primarily had birds (parakeets), lizards (bearded dragons) and frogs (mostly bull frogs). I cat-sit on occassion for a friend and sibling. I also raise Monarch caterpillars in the summer and release the adults. I work full time outside the home but am home in the summer (teacher). I am available weekends and weekday evenings, with sufficient notice of weekday needs. I am usually available Friday evening through Sunday evening. I am looking to do drop-in pet care and dog boarding. I could board a small pet that resides in an enclosure in my home or a dog (or two dogs from the same household). Both my cats are comfortable with dogs but tend to keep to themselves. I have 2 children and 2 cats at home. It’s a one floor house. The yard is nice and big. I don’t have a fence but I do have a longer leash so the dogs can run a bit.

About: I am a huge animal person. I'm available daily for your pet needs. I will ensure your cat will have their safety, emotional and overall well being needs met. I WFH and am available daily. I spend quality time with your pet and limit any errands to quick trips if necessary. I try to create a stress free environment. My 6 yr old cat which I separate. I will treat your pet as my own under my care to ensure safety and emotional well-being.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life, helped raise two puppies. I volunteered at a puppy shelter! I am good with high energy and senior dogs. Over the summer I work from 8:00-12:30 am so before and after that I am completely free! Can care for the pet mornings, afternoon and nights! About: Ive pet sat many kinds of puppers from little Chihuahuas to giant St. Bernards. I am comfortable working with anxious dogs to friendly dogs. I work as a Veterinary Assistant and am comfortable administering meds to checking in and taking for potty breaks/walks at your home ! I am currently working part-time and dont have any pets of my own but would love to get in some puppy play-time. I am available any day or time! I do not have any pets as of now but I have had animals for as long as I can remember. From picking up poop to giving pills. I can crate pets as needed to walking and feeding/watering.

“We booked with Berlyn for two drop in visit today for our 4 month old puppy. We have a camera at home to monitor the puppy and I can see the puppy has been sleeping after Berlyn’s visits. Must be tired from the platings I guess. Booking with Berlyn is easy and he is really prompt with replying my requests. And he also gave me updates of when he enters and leaves our house and provided a lot of pictures and videos. About: I have had the pleasure and joy of being able to take care of lots of different animals for over 10 years. I spent some time on a farm where taking care of sheep, pigs, chicken, ducks, and the barn cats and dogs was a daily thing. Later on, I was the proud mama of a german shepherd named Bruno who stole my heart in every way. Unfortunately he is now gone since November of 2023. Since then, my lifestyle has changed and I am not able to have another dog of my own due to long working hours four days out of the week. However I love taking care of pets, especially dogs, and this is the perfect way to still have a connection with these wonderful creatures, even if they are not my own :) I promise to take care of yours as if it was my own! They will be royally treated with me! My Fridays through Sundays are free from other work and I would love to be able to take care of your pets, especially your dogs! I have a spacious home where your pet can feel free to roam and rest. I also have many trails I can take them on walks. There is also a spacious park area where we can play around if that's what your dog prefers! If I am coming to your home, I am more than happy to walk them short or long distances, play with them, or tend to any other pet needs!

About: Hello! My name is Carlee, I’m 26, and I’m offering home visits and dog walking in Arlington Heights and it’s surrounding neighborhoods! I’ve had a passion for wildlife since childhood, and I’ve cared for all sorts of animals from hamsters to horses. I’ve been around dogs of all ages and sizes, but I have the strongest experience with adults/seniors and small dogs. My childhood dog was a mini dachshund who developed dementia and mobility issues in her old age; I was an adult by then and took much care of her. I often pet-sit or do home visits for my family and friends, but this will be my first time using a company like Rover to meet new people and animals! My years of experience reflect my pet-care experience in adulthood. Looking forward to getting to know you and your pets :) I have completely open availability as I’m currently not working. I can come by any day at any time to help care for your pets!
