About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have cared for over ten rescues pups with my family. I’ve also looked after my neighbors, cousins, and family friends, giving every dog the same love and attention I’d want my own to have!! I’m currently working full time and a college student home for the summer and I get done with work around 3:30 each day. I am available from 3pm -8pm Monday- Thursday. Fridays from 3pm-7pm. Then Saturdays and Sundays change based on the weekend. I am always interested in taking care of pups so please message me and I am sure I can work outside of my hours and “set” schedule! Can’t wait to meet your sweet pup!! In clients homes, I stick to each dog’s normal routine and keep their environment calm and familiar. I make sure they get safe, attentive walks, plenty of love, and updates so you always know how they’re doing!! I would want my own dogs to be treated with love and care and I would do that with anyone else’s dog too!

About: Currently, I have two cats. I've had a dog, but before that, I primarily had birds (parakeets), lizards (bearded dragons) and frogs (mostly bull frogs). I cat-sit on occassion for a friend and sibling. I also raise Monarch caterpillars in the summer and release the adults. I work full time outside the home but am home in the summer (teacher). I am available weekends and weekday evenings, with sufficient notice of weekday needs. I am usually available Friday evening through Sunday evening. I am looking to do drop-in pet care and dog boarding. I could board a small pet that resides in an enclosure in my home or a dog (or two dogs from the same household). Both my cats are comfortable with dogs but tend to keep to themselves. I have 2 children and 2 cats at home. It’s a one floor house. The yard is nice and big. I don’t have a fence but I do have a longer leash so the dogs can run a bit.
“Emily is the best pet sitter! She gave thorough report cards of her drop-in visits and the cutest pic updates of our two kitties. I can tell she truly loves pets and treated ours like she would her own. Will definitely hire her for any future pet sitting needs.”

“Liz was absolutely amazing with our two shy cats during our 5 day trip! She went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable with her before we left, especially because one of our cats went completely blind since the last time we had travelled and we weren't sure how she'd do with a sitter this time around. Liz was extremely communicative and caring towards both of our cats, and I think they've grown to enjoy her company (as much as two scaredy cats around strangers can, haha). We look forward to working with her again in the future!!”
About: I've owned and cared for dogs since I was 6 years old. One of my childhood dogs, a silky terrier named Minnie, lived to be 16 years old. I have experience taking care of dogs of all ages, sizes, and needs. My current dog, a mutt named Cali, is leash reactive and requires special attention on walks. No matter what kind of care your dog needs, I am able to provide it. I can also provide care for other pets such as cats, fish, frogs, geckos, etcetera. I am very flexible on evenings and weekends to provide care as well as some early mornings during the week. Even though I have a full time job outside of pet care, I want to dedicate as much time as possible taking care of animals. Your dog's safety is my priority, and we will either play outside in your fully fenced in backyard or take a walk in an area safe for us. I can handle many different behaviors for leashed dogs including dog reactivity, squirrel or small animal chasing, etcetera.
About: I have had the pleasure and joy of being able to take care of lots of different animals for over 10 years. I spent some time on a farm where taking care of sheep, pigs, chicken, ducks, and the barn cats and dogs was a daily thing. Later on, I was the proud mama of a german shepherd named Bruno who stole my heart in every way. Unfortunately he is now gone since November of 2023. Since then, my lifestyle has changed and I am not able to have another dog of my own due to long working hours four days out of the week. However I love taking care of pets, especially dogs, and this is the perfect way to still have a connection with these wonderful creatures, even if they are not my own :) I promise to take care of yours as if it was my own! They will be royally treated with me! My Fridays through Sundays are free from other work and I would love to be able to take care of your pets, especially your dogs! I have a spacious home where your pet can feel free to roam and rest. I also have many trails I can take them on walks. There is also a spacious park area where we can play around if that's what your dog prefers! If I am coming to your home, I am more than happy to walk them short or long distances, play with them, or tend to any other pet needs!
“Krissy is extremely responsive and has great communication. She has save us multiple times, watching our dogs very last minute when other sitters have had to cancel. She takes amazing care of our two pups and we’re grateful to work with her!”

About: I have taken care of dogs for over 15 years now. We always have had one dog at a time but love them dearly! We have a fenced backyard safe and clean for the dogs to roam around. If you need walks, let us know the schedule. We also rescued a puppy a few months ago after our previous dog passed away (from cancer). We have gated areas to keep pups apart for their alone time and get together for playtime! I am currently at home full time so I’m very flexible with hours and routine. Life gets tough but I will work around schedules to meet your needs. I have a FENCED backyard and our backyard is regularly cleaned. I prefer crate trained dogs and while I run errands we have a gate between the mud room and kitchen which turns into a massive crate room. I will never have two dogs together in that area unless I know they get along very well without problems. I also have several gates (I put up if needed) and French doors throughout the home to keep separation if needed. We also never let our dog upstairs or in the basement so if yours needs to sleep in the bed, we can’t do that. We also don’t let dogs on our couches. We love our furry family members and they should have their own furniture:) If you have a crate for overnight boarding, I highly recommend you bring it with you. We have several safe toys for the dogs and I keep the kids toys in the living room which is usually put away but let me know if your pup has a tendency to get into things. We will always keep an eye out! We also have pet safe indoor plants throughout the home. If your dog has a habit of digging into pots, please let me know. My plants are important and my dog does not dig into them!
“Shruti did an amazing job with my cat Chewy on short notice.I recently moved to the area and needed a reliable cat sitter and I found one! She is reliable and I highly recommend her to watch your pets too. Thank you Shruti! I’ll be contacting you again.”

About: Hi! I’m a student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a huge dog lover. I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old and have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I also have a dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy, patient, and caring looking after your pet. I can't wait to meet your furry friends! I'm currently working part time as a Certified Nursing Assistant and on summer break as a university student. I have plenty of time to care for your pets and spend time with them! I have one friendly, well-trained dog and a large backyard. I value long walks a dog's overall happiness! I am able to walk, play with, or simple spend time with your dogs based on their needs!

“Shawna was amazing and took great care of our cat while we were on vacation. She is kind, reliable, and was very sweet to our little guy. We feel lucky to have found her! Would highly recommend her and will surely ask for her support again in the future!”
About: I have a long history with pet care. I had my own dogs for 16 years (passed), worked as an admin in an animal hospital/boarding/training for 2 years. I have had many years of fostering and voluntering for shelters. I love animals! Couple this with my desire to get more excersise and love of the outdoors, and this makes for a great fit. I walk daily, and would love a walking partner to make it a bit more fun. I have a fenced yard, and while gone from the house I like to use the crate so everyone stays safe. Weekends im usually home to monitor and spend time with your pet.
“Berlyn has been helping us with baby sitting the puppy for almost a week. He is great to work with. Always prompt with replying messages and always show up on time. He was able to adjust his schedule even with very short notice and I really appreciate that. Looking forward to continuously work with Berlyn”

“Nicole is a kind and lovely person. She was able to come early in the morning as requested. She was a thorough communicator and she even cleaned up a couple of messes! She was meeting my cats for the first time and tried hard to connect. I will definitely use her services again.”

About: I’ve taken care of friends dogs as well as clients dogs while caring for their children when I was a nanny and special needs tutor. Clients and friends feel comfortable and confident leaving their pets in my care. They are not just animals to me. They are part of the family. I am looking to care for your pets on a full time basis. I’m ready to commit to caring for your fur babies as my own. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
