“Maite was absolutely wonderful! She watched our two dogs (pitbull and chihuhua/pug) while we were away. She had great communication and sent videos and so many photos of our pups! I loved seeing them happy and could tell they were being well taken care of. Maite is very sweet and caring. We will definitely be reaching out to her again to watch our dogs!!!”

“Maricela did drop in visits for us while we were on a cruise. It was my first time using Rover and I couldn’t be more pleased. She was super responsive to messages and always checking in. I have such a hard time leaving our pets for vacation but she made that part of the trip so easy for us. I would refer her to anyone who needed pet sitting services. I can’t thank her enough.”
“Flexible, communicative, and reliable. Such a wonderful caretaker! Came through for us when we were in labor with our daughter and made things work to help us out.”

“Faatima was wonderful with our cats, and from pictures alone we know they were comfortable and enjoyed her. We could tell at the meet and great the genuine care she would have for them. Her communication has been thorough and very timely throughout the process. We have already booked another visit with her.”

About: I’ve cared for all sorts of animals from horses to hamsters and everything in between. Personally, I’ve had dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, and fish. My experience with birds is more limited. However, I do have some experience handling and caring for them via my job as a pet counselor at Petland where I specialized in caring for small mammals and birds and helped pet parents decide on care/products. I was later a kennel technician for Petland. Furthermore, I have experience working with aggressive/anxious dogs. Finally, two of my volunteer experiences involved animals, the first was Casey’s Save Haven horse rescue and the second is Wings and Talons working with ambassador birds of prey! I have class on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I can drop by between/after class on those days. On Sunday I start volunteering at 1pm and usually don’t get off until 4 or 5, but again I am available before or after that! For more info on my school schedule, just message me. I will permanently update it after I know my 2026 schedule. I cannot do in home care due to the people and pets that I live with, however, I can do any outside care like home visits and dog walking!
About: I have been around dogs my entire life and have had my family dog for 9 years now. I do a lot of the caring for my dog. I played an integral part in my dog’s recovery from knee surgery. I have also dog sat many times for dogs of all ages from 1-2 year old dogs to elderly dogs. I was also a dog sitter for my college canine companion club for 2 years. This taught me a lot about dog training, etiquette, and respect. While taking care of these dogs, I walked them, gave them food and water, played with the dogs, gave the dogs their medications, worked on owner specified training, and made sure that the dogs were comfortable and happy. I have always loved dogs, listened to their body language, and respected them. I am available to sit for single dog households and multiple pet or dog and cat households. I look forward to meeting your furry family members! Starting Jan 5 I am not available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 3-8:30pm and Saturday 1-5:30, but I am otherwise available to play with and take care of your furry family members. Starting Jan 26, I am not available Monday or Wednesday, Tuesday from 3-8:30pm, Thursday from 7-9:30pm, Friday 8:30-11:30am, or Saturday 1-5:30, but I am otherwise available to play with and take care of your furry family members. I do not offer in my home care. I am glad to talk about any and all routines and rules you want me to follow with your pet (within reason). I am great at reading body language of your furry family members and will do my absolute best at following both your instructions and expectations as well as making sure your furry family members are listened to, comfortable, and happy. I will always treat your furry family members like they are family.

I also fostered some dogs and volunteered at a couple of local animal shelters. I never had a dog growing up but I truly love spending time with doggies and connecting with them. It’s so rewarding and I love feeling so connected to animals 😌 I’m currently working part-time! I’m available to board mostly weekends because I work Tuesday-Saturday 11 AM- 6PM. About: All Fur Babies Are Family! 🐾 Hey there, pet lovers! I’m all about bringing fun, love, and genuine care to every furry friend I meet. From a young age, animals have held a special place in my heart, and it brings me so much joy to give them the attention and affection they deserve. I started pet sitting and dog walking for friends and family when I was just 13, and it quickly became clear that caring for animals was more than just a hobby—it was a lifelong passion. I’ve also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I learned the importance of creating a positive, nurturing, and safe environment for every pet. To me, pets aren’t “just pets”—they’re cherished family members who fill our lives with unconditional love and happiness. That’s why I treat every fur baby I care for as if they were my own. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of sharing my home with five large dogs and two cats. Though my beloved pets have since passed, each one taught me something unique about different breeds, personalities, and the special bonds we share with our animals. Whether your furry friend is big or small, playful or shy, you can rest assured they’ll be in caring and capable hands. My goal is to make every visit safe, comfortable, and filled with love—because every pet deserves to feel like part of the family. 💕 I currently work a 9-5 job Monday through Friday. When I am not working will be spending all of my time making sure your fur babies are being taken care of and shown much love! My pet-sitting services are solely offered in the client's home, drop-ins or walking. I will make sure to maintain a safe and happy environment for your pets. I am happy to follow through with your pet's daily routine and schedule. During my stay, I ensure your pet has fresh water and food, and plenty of exercise and playtime to keep them active and healthy. I will take the time to learn your pet's unique needs and behaviors, providing personalized care that promotes both their physical and emotional well-being.

About: We adopted our dog 13 years ago at 5 months old, and for the past 9 years I have been very involved with fostering and volunteering for a local rescue. This has given me so much experience with many different dog personalities. helped me learn how to best introduce them to our environment and to our own dog (who is a gentle giant, even adjusting to very small puppies being fostered here) and has given me so much more knowledge about dog behaviors in general. I have fostered 30+ dogs thus far, handled at adoption shows, transported dogs to vet visits and selected adopters for my fosters. I feel very qualified at this point to give your dog all the care and love they need and deserve while you are away! I am home during the week and as long as a dog gets along with our dog I am very happy to have them here Your dog will always have plenty of love and attention when they are with me, and their needs will always be met. When they are here they are family! I am retired and home all day. If your dog likes to sleep in a room with someone, they can either sleep on the bed with me or on their bed or in their crate in the same room with me We are in a townhome with a walkout patio. I love to spend time outside with the dogs, and they are always secure with a leash or tie out cable. I am always with them. We are very careful about doors opening, and people coming in and out. Your pet is safe with me.
“Kristina is excellent pet sitter! She is great with communication and will follow instructions with no problem. She did a great job watching my cat. I would definitely book her again!”

Schaumburg dog parents share their Rover experiences
Lia is great!! I have two dogs, one of whom is reactive, and she was completely understanding and willing to work with her. I was super nervous about it, but her knowledge and experience with dogs put my mind at ease super quick. My dogs LOVED her right away, and were so happy to walk with her. 10/10 recommend!
