“Kristina was amazing! Her home is fully dog-proof, safe, and clearly designed with dogs in mind. She’s caring, attentive, and trustworthy—I could tell my dog was happy and comfortable. I highly recommend her doggy daycare!”

About: I've been around pets me whole life. I have always loved dogs of all sizes. My parents owned Shih Tzus since I was a kid and I was constantly around close family members' German Shepherds as well. I've done drop-ins countless times over the years for cats of friends and family. Now along with my husband, we live with our dog, Melon, and our cat, Amy. Melon is a 50lb 1-year-old mix breed, and Amy is an 11-year-old senior cat. They can be hectic and they keep us on our toes, but I wouldn't have it any other way! When your pets are in my care, I'll always treat them with all the love and adoration I give my own. I am currently between full-time jobs, so my schedule tends to be open and very flexible for caring for your pets, whether it be on weekdays or the weekend. For pet care at your home, I will prioritize sticking to whatever routine keeps you and your pets comfortable and happy! I know how stressful it can be when family members aren't home, and will do whatever your pets need to know that they are safe and loved even in your absence. If your dog comes to stay at my house, you can take comfort in knowing they'll have access to a fully fenced back yard to run and play in, so they are secure and entertained. My dog, Melon, LOVES other dogs and nothing would make her happier than a new friend coming over to hang out with her.
“This was a very last minute booking. Bonnie was available and she and family were terrific with our dog. He had a party with all the other dogs with him and got to play lots and get his energy out. She sent us pictures and updates and it looked like he was getting lots of love too. She sent Buddy home with a goody bag full of doggie treats! Such a nice touch and so thoughtful. Thank you Bonnie!”

“Erena day sat for our dog, Cinnamon, while we were on a day trip as a family. She was easy to communicate with, accommodating, and welcoming to Cinnamon. It was clear to us that she wanted Cinnamon to feel at home, and she eased Cinnamon very gently into an unfamiliar situation. Erena also shared pictures of Cinnamon with us during the day. We would gladly use Erena again!”

“Sana was amazing with Jesse! She really got to know him, and I could tell from the photos and messages that Jesse was feeling safe and cared for. As a first-time dog mom, it’s tough to leave my furry baby behind, but knowing more about him and getting updates during and after pick-up really put my mind at ease and made it even better than I had hoped. If you are looking for.a reliable, caring and professional pet sitter, I highly recommend Sana!”

About: I have had dogs most of my life. From my childhood dog to the ones I raised as an adult. I have potty-trained dogs to use a bell to indicate they have to go out, taught them to back away from table food, and to give up stolen items. I will treat your dog lovingly and as if they are my own. I am mostly retired and home the majority of the day. The dog will go no longer than 4 hours without a potty break, and most days it will be shorter than that. Your pet will be the only one in the house with me. I block off my stairs so the dog is always very close and mostly within eyesight.

“Was very Pleased with Kims pet string service and her knowledge of dogs. Penny came home stress free and I could tell she was very happy. Thank you Kim for taking good care of my baby.”
About: I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from puppies to seniors. Although I’m new to Rover, I’ve been caring for dogs for over 25 years. My last dog Barney had passed away recently due to an old age and illness. I’ve decided to help others care for their furry family members while they’re away on vacation or traveling. I remember how hard it was for me to leave my pup with a stranger. I can assure you, when you entrust me with your dog I will treat him like my own. They will get lots of love and all the care they need. My former dog had diabetes because of that, I’m skilled at administering insulin shots as well as other meds. I’m at stay at home mom, which means I’m always home and ready to play with your pup and make sure your dog feels loved and secure when you’re away. My kids are at school during the day, which allows me a ton of flexibility. I can take your dog for walks or Pup Cup runs whenever we feel like it. I have a fenced in yard which means your dog can have as many bathroom breaks as they need. I also enjoy going out for walks and I would love a four legged friend to keep me company. I have 3 boys who grew up with dogs and have the same passion for animals as their mom. My kids are very gentle with animals, and were taught to give dogs space when the animal needs it. I recognize that oftentimes dogs will need some time to acclimate to their new environment. I’m very patient and will give your dog all the space they may need to feel comfortable. I typically do not use a crate unless that is your preference. Dogs are welcome to snuggle on the couch and jump on the bed if they choose to.
“Oliwia so great with Nola. She was able to accommodate us and help me while I attended work. There was regular communication. Thank you and we will be sure bring Nola back sometime!”

About: We are a dog-less home since our dog passed about a year ago. I sure do love having visitors, and a dog to love while they are here with me! We adopted our dog 14 years ago at 5 months old, and for the past 10 years I have been very involved with fostering and volunteering for a local rescue. This has given me so much experience with many different dog personalities and helped me learn how to best introduce them to a new environment. I have so much more knowledge about dog behaviors in general since fostering. I have fostered 30+ dogs thus far, handled at adoption shows, transported dogs to vet visits and selected adopters for my fosters. I feel very qualified to give your dog all the care and love they need and deserve while you are away! I am home during the day, and I am very happy to have your dog here to love and spoil while they are in my care. Your dog will always have plenty of love and attention when they are with me, and their needs will always be met. When they are here they are family! I am retired and home all day. If your dog likes to sleep in a room with someone, they can either sleep on the bed with me or on their bed or in their crate in the same room with me We are in a townhome with a walkout patio. I love to spend time outside with the dogs, and they are always secure with a leash or tie out cable. I am always with them. We are very careful about doors opening, and people coming in and out. Your pet is safe with me.

“Pattie and Mike took excellent care of Shadow while he was in their care! He had a great time, met lots of new friends and was exhausted at the end of the day! I would highly recommend Mike and Pattie to others!”

“Tiago is a wonderful dog sitter. Our 7 month old bernedoodle puppy is very high energy and he is very patient and kind to her. He is obviously a dog lover. He is also very organized and always has all of her toys and stuff packed up at pick up time. We couldn't ask for a better sitter and Maggie loves going to visit him and his lovely family.”

Schaumburg dog parents share their Rover experiences
Tina took excellent care of my cockapoo by walking him, feeding him and giving him medication. He loves praise, being petted and talked to. My little dog was having separation anxiety and each time I left my house I felt guilty. Now my dog is happy, plays with his dog friends, has people and animal companionship and eats and gets his medicine on-time. Tina is very loving and excellent with my baby! She puts on his two coats and boots before he goes outside in the snow. I definitely would recommend her!

David and his girlfriend were true dog whispers. I have a senior dog with separation anxiety from me. But they took care of her so well, we didn't have any issue and she loved her time there. They took so many photos (4-6 photos daily!) and shared updates to me very often. Highly highly recommended. Thank you so much for taking great care of Bori! ❤️

We had a wonderful experience with Angela. She was very kind, communicated quickly, and kept us updated with regular check-ins about our pup Stella. It was such a relief knowing our pup was well cared for. I highly recommend her to anyone needing a dependable sitter, and we’ll gladly book her again in the future!

Stephanie did a great job taking care of my puppy, Elsa! She was accommodating to the needs of a young puppy, and it’s nice that she has her own dog, Mochi, to help with socialization. Stephanie had great communication prior to the booking and consistent updates during the day of. It was my first time leaving Elsa with a sitter, but Stephanie was a great choice. I would definitely recommend and book again in the future!

We’re so thankful to Todd for taking such great care of Maeve while we were at a friend’s wedding. From the start, he was responsive, thoughtful, and kept us updated with sweet photos of Maeve enjoying herself. She was happy, relaxed, and in great hands. Highly recommend!
