About: We've used Rover for years for our Zoey. It has always been great to know she is safe and happy when we're away. We want to provide that same relief when you need to be away from your furry friend. We've had dogs for 20 years and that doesn't even count the pets we had growing up. We will provide your dog with all the comforts of home including a big fenced in yard. Although I normally work outside of the house, my husband James works from home and our daughter lives here while in college. That means lots of love and care for your doggies throughout the day. Safety is our top priority so you can feel confident in leaving your pet in our care. We have a large, fenced in yard. We understand anxious pets because we have one! We promise pictures and updates (if that's what you'd like!)

About: I am currently a grad school student trying to spread the love for our 4 legged friends one walk at a time! I currently have my own dog that I have had for 2 years that I adore and know how hard it can get when you need to be away from your pet for longer than wanted but have no fear because I will give your pet all the love, adoration, tail wags, and more while you’re away for a bit! I have also taken care of all different types of pets (dogs, cats, bunnies) for family and friends growing up, including walking, boarding, feeding, and bathing. As an all around pet lover, I would love to treat your own dog like family and give them everything that need until you come back. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. Hope to hear from you soon :) As of now, I am available weekends! I am free Friday’s after 3pm but other than that, I’m am free all day throughout the weekend. (Updated: 3/30/25) I have a very friendly dog in my household, but can be easily separated from your pet easily if needed. Crating also can be done if necessary. For safety, you will be given 1-2 hour updates (or more!) of the status of your pet also.

About: I grew up on a farm in Brazil, surrounded by animals and nature, and that’s where my love for dogs truly began. From a young age, I was always caring for and spending time with them, learning how to understand their needs and personalities. Today, I have two Basset Hounds of my own, and they are a big part of my life. Living with them has given me even more hands-on experience with different behaviors, routines, and the importance of patience and affection. Now that I live here in the U.S., I’m excited to offer my care and love for dogs through Rover. I treat every dog as if they were my own—making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I’m home every day with my baby and my two Basset Hounds, so I’m always present and able to give dogs plenty of attention and care. Most days, we go for walks together, and I make sure they have a consistent routine with feeding, playtime, and lots of affection. In my home, I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment. I have a fenced garden with a secure gate (40” H × 27” panels), which is great for small and medium dogs to enjoy supervised outdoor time. I don’t use crates, as I prefer pets to feel comfortable and free in a home setting. I also have two very friendly Basset Hounds who are used to being around other dogs, which helps visiting pets feel more relaxed and social. I keep a consistent routine with feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of attention to make sure every dog feels safe and happy.
About: You can rest assured that your pet will be well cared for in our loving, smoke free, suburban home. We have a fenced, safe yard that is clean and well maintained. I am a stay at home mom and have owned pets my whole life. I am extremely detail oriented and can follow your instructions or special requests. I am available during the week and also on the weekends for drop offs or even overnight stays. Walks are available too as I am home all day and can accommodate those requests. April was very accommodating especially since Pepsi has been having an off week with an upset tummy and a toenail injury. She knew and understood how a 1 year old male large breed dog would be. She listened to my requests and information and made sure Pepsi was in good hands. Pepsi wasn’t allowed to go outside due to his injury and April made sure to listen and entertain Pepsi indoors with her children. She is a great sitter, very caring!
David (& Mary) are great sitters. However, David blamed me (!) for causing him to get up "an hour early" for the pick-up time despite the fact that I scheduled a one hour window for the same, and despite the fact the he accepted my booking request including this one hour window period. Thus, he expects a dog's pet guardian to arrive precisely at the beginning of the window period! This unreasonable, especially when it's set it up for just that-- a window period within which pet guardians may drop off their dog. Blaming customers for THEIR shortcomings is not only irresponsible, it's unprofessional.
