“Caroline did a great job watching our cars while we were away! She gave us such peace of mind and was courteous and kind to our house and animals. She communicated great with us and we and our kitties had a great experience. Thank you Caroline!”

“Paula was great with our 2 pups. She did a meet and greet beforehand which was so nice! She was fantastic with them and brought over games to help engage them during her visits. The picture and notes after each visit were detailed and made us feel better about leaving our pups home knowing they were well taken care of.”

“It is a pleasure to have Brianna as our pet sitter. She takes the time to acknowledge your pet's needs while keeping them busy and entertained while they are under her care. Having Bri watching your pet while you are away from home is a peace of mind.”

“Pets were well taken care of. He shared pictures (but I did not receive the written reports the sitters usually share after every visit). He helped as possible with cleaning poop/throw up my puppy left around the house. Quick to reply to my text messages.”

“Lauriel was wonderful! My pets were very well taken care of and I don’t even know how much they missed us. They enjoyed her so much! That is how I want to be! She was professional, prompt, and always sent pictures of my dog and cat! We will definitely use her again. She was wonderful.”

“Jaymie is terrific! She does drop-in visits for our very energetic cattle dog, and gives our pup much-needed exercise with walks and Frisbee. Jaymie is very prompt in responding to requests, and we were impressed by her attention to detail when she did our meet-and-greet. Highly recommended!”

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since I was 8 years old. I figured out at a young age they can help heal the human spirit. I wanted to be like them and heal people so I became a nurse. While working as a home health nurse my patients' pets would get a visit from me too. Now I'm retired from nursing and freelancing. My experience is very diverse and I am hardworking. My schedule is very flexible. I'm available 7 days a week. I'm also available for holidays. I can do early morning walks, mid day, afternoon and evenings rain or shine. I have a big backyard and access to a local dog park as well. I love going on walks and exploring new neighborhoods with new fur friends.
About: I have about one year of hands-on pet ownership experience and have been around animals my entire life. I’ve helped train and care for dogs, including Collies and Hounds, with experience in basic obedience, leash walking, crate training, and puppy training. I enjoy walking dogs and providing enrichment to support their physical and mental well-being. I also love bathing dogs too! I have experience with a range of dog personalities, including puppies, senior dogs, and those with special needs, such as medication schedules or mobility considerations. I’m adaptable, patient, and willing to adjust my care style to fit each dog’s individual needs. I try and build my routine that balances and fits my dog and me! This includes daily walks, 10 minute sessions of training, playtime, and decompression time. I also give snuggle and cuddle time, but only if the dog I work with initiates. I also love giving my dog a well balanced diet and hydration especially in this hot weather. I also believe that a dogs world is as big as we allow, and so I love bringing dogs to new adventures, like hiking or a day at the beach. I try to include these at least weekly or bi-weekly. I also love having doggie play dates, and have some minor experience with dogs meeting for the first time! I currently live in an apartment, so I only service for home visits and walking right now. I’m familiar with fenced or semi fenced yards and crating. I have my own dog that I love taking out for walks and training, so if you don’t have a yard that isn’t an issue! I work great when I’m giving instructions in writing or verbal that best helps your doggie!
About: My family and I love dogs. We also love cats, but unfortunately I’m allergic to them. We’ve raised three dogs over the years and currently have a 4-year-old Golden Retriever named Jax. I pretty much work from home and have a 4 year old Golden Retreiver named Jax so our routine is already made for a dog. I have a fenced in back yard. Your dog will have a playmate in Jax. I enjoy going out and playing fetch with Jax although he's not much of a fetch guy. He enjoys me faking like I'm going to chase him and then he gets the zoomies and runs around the yard like a crazy boy.

About: I've cared for pets for family and friends for many years and understand the trust that comes with caring for someone's home and beloved pets. My goal is to provide the same level of care, attention, and affection that I would give my own animals. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, from large bully breeds to miniature poodles, as well as cats with special dietary and medication needs. I am dependable, attentive, and committed to keeping pet owners informed while they're away. Whether your pet needs playtime, exercise, medication, or simply companionship, I will ensure they are safe, comfortable. I work part time and make my own schedule, so I can likely work your pet into my schedule. I am always communicating with my clients in the event I can't be scheduled so the pets get the best possible care. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting me with your pet is a significant decision. My top priorities are safety, trust, and providing a calm, secure environment where your pet feels comfortable while you are away.

Had a great experience with this wonderful individual. She watched our saltwater fish tank and couple of our other smaller tanks the week we were traveling. Highly recommend to anyone looking for pet care. The attention to detail and the respect shown to our little friends was remarkable.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bartlett. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
