About: I have had many dogs, cats and fosters over the years. I love animals and enjoy caring for them. Currently available to watch CATS in my home. I have one small dog (12 yrs old) and one cat (6 yrs old) I work from home, so your pet will be fully supervised during work hours. Our home is peaceful and quiet, no small children. My own pets are calm and friendly. My small senior dog and my own cat are friendly, but I do have a spare bedroom available if your pet would prefer privacy and their own space. I understand that cats can be nervous in new places, they will have plenty of safe hiding spots until they become more comfortable to the new environment.

My dogs have taught me a lot about dog behaviors and what to look out for. Either way I tend to avoid anything that may upset any dog. Cats are much more independent and they usually just need feeding and cleaning.

I have two orange tabbies who are set up on an automatic feeder and automatic litter box, so the hardest part about being away from them is finding someone who can play with them and give them food as a treat. I hired Hannah as a cat sitter and she pleasantly exceeded my expectations. Hannah is beyond amazing. She got both of my cats to play with her by figuring out the weird things they each like to do — one is driven by random sounds and the other is a fetcher. Best part was when I walked in, they both appeared to be in a good mood, whereas normally they look stressed after I’ve been away. That’s my measure of how well they were played with. Highly recommend Hannah for cats who need more than just a check-in.
I’m very happy to have found Doreen as a cat sitter. She visits once a day and is reliable, thoughtful, and clearly cares about animals. She even feeds the few feral cats who have taken up residence on my back deck and includes photos of them in her updates. One of my cats is extremely difficult and dislikes just about everyone, but he clearly tolerates her (which is very high praise) and is always waiting for his food when she arrives. My other cat requires two pills daily, and she has no trouble giving them to him.

Lia is great!! I have two dogs, one of whom is reactive, and she was completely understanding and willing to work with her. I was super nervous about it, but her knowledge and experience with dogs put my mind at ease super quick. My dogs LOVED her right away, and were so happy to walk with her. 10/10 recommend!
