About: I have been around dogs my entire life and have had my family dog for 9 years now. I do a lot of the caring for my dog. I played an integral part in my dog’s recovery from knee surgery. I have also dog sat many times for dogs of all ages from 1-2 year old dogs to elderly dogs. I was also a dog sitter for my college canine companion club for 2 years. This taught me a lot about dog training, etiquette, and respect. While taking care of these dogs, I walked them, gave them food and water, played with the dogs, gave the dogs their medications, worked on owner specified training, and made sure that the dogs were comfortable and happy. I have always loved dogs, listened to their body language, and respected them. I am available to sit for single dog households and multiple pet or dog and cat households. About: My parents close friends/family members and even some of my best friends have trusted me to watch overnight their pets such as dogs and cats,etc and along with boarding them at our house as the owners were out of town. I have lots of personal experience with my own pets, along with experience with dog watching and walking dogs outside my family dog. I grew up living with dogs and have always had a passion for animals and would love to be able to take care of peoples furry friends. I have a part time job currently so weekdays would be best since some shifts I get off in the afternoon so most evenings I’m free so if I know in advanced when people need me that would be great to work around my schedule. Some mornings I am also free. We have a big back yard but it does not have a fully fenced in yard due to our garage but it is safe and we have a leash to attach dogs too so they can be safe while also roaming in the yard. We also have a dog bed too. Not many toys because our dog is getting older but we can provide treats if needed and make sure they have everything they need. They will also have a furry companion which is our dog Bella. Whenever I watch a dog at someone else’s home I make sure to check and see what instructions they leave for me, make sure they are fed and let outside, and also make sure they are played with.
