About: I grew up around many dogs. My parents LOVE English Bulldogs and we always had 2-3 in our home whether we were fostering or they were ours. A few years ago we found a cat in the woods and decided to add to the family! After moving out, I have decided to rescue two cats of my own and they have been such a blessing! I also watch my friends dogs and cats from time to time. I am currently studying to be a personal trainer and work at a gym opening a women’s fitness program. My schedule is pretty open currently as I am studying for my personal trainers certificate! I am also a bodybuilder so my life really revolves around the gym! My schedule is currently very flexible. I currently have two cats, and I play with them often. They have many toys and cat trees. I would consider myself very playful. I also love to walk dogs! My bulldogs at home love walks 1-2 times a day which I have been able to help out with when there. I hope to offer similar services!

About: Hello! My name is Carlee, I’m 26, and I’m offering home visits and dog walking in Arlington Heights and it’s surrounding neighborhoods! I’ve had a passion for wildlife since childhood, and I’ve cared for all sorts of animals from hamsters to horses. I’ve been around dogs of all ages and sizes, but I have the strongest experience with adults/seniors and small dogs. My childhood dog was a mini dachshund who developed dementia and mobility issues in her old age; I was an adult by then and took much care of her. I often pet-sit or do home visits for my family and friends, but this will be my first time using a company like Rover to meet new people and animals! My years of experience reflect my pet-care experience in adulthood. Looking forward to getting to know you and your pets :) I have fairly open availability as I'm currently working part time. I do have a couple established dogs I walk weekly, but it shouldn't be hard to fit someone new into my schedule! I can stop by just to feed your pet and/or let them go potty, take them for a walk, play with and accompany them for a time, or do a combination of these. I can stay with your pet as long as necessary.

About: I’ve taken care of up to 4 dogs at a time. I have 6 years of experience. I have taken care of senior dogs, aggressive dogs, and easy dogs. I have always been a dog person and love taking care of them! I will make sure your animals feel loved and safe when you are away. I am currently taking a break from a full time job to take care of my mom who recently had a minor stroke. My schedule is pretty open, and I will be able to work around taking care of her. I have a fenced yard for my dog. He is aggressive and pulls on walks but we are working on it and I am capable of making sure he still gets out for walks, I am in shape so this makes it possible for me to do. As far as in my clients home, I make sure to meet with them first before showing up to dog sit. I find this to be helpful. Of course this isn’t required but I am open to that. My main goal is to make sure the pets are feeling safe and happy when their owners are away. I take safety very seriously. Examples include making sure they don’t get into anything, and that they are secured both on walks and outside in the yard. I have never had a situation with dogs having to go to vet or getting out.

About: Hi! We are a husband/wife with a loving 3 year old Golden Retriever named Gavin. We have raised him from 8 weeks old and trained him ourselves. He has not met a dog yet he doesn’t like and can’t wait to meet yours! I'm available for walks and drop-in visits throughout the week/weekends except for on Tuesday and Wednesday and can be flexible. About: Why do I do what I do? Because there's no feeling like receiving that first tail wag, head bump, or slobbery kiss. My calling is to advocate for the ones who can't do it themselves and to care for them. Having 6 cats and some reptiles of my own and being a Veterinary Technician is what my life consists of and I love it. Being a Veterinary Technician aids me in many ways while pet sitting. Being able to read animals body language and understand their ways of communicating allow me to bond and build trust with my pet friends. I had dogs my entire life. love dogs of all shapes and sizes. My close friends have dogs that I enjoy being around all the time. On occasion, I’ll take to help my friends to care of them while they’re are out of town. I am a stay at home mom and usually awake by 6am and I’m able to give your dog a lot of time throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, etc. My neighborhood is very safe with lots of sidewalk and grass. I’m home basically all day so your dog won’t get lonely. I live in a house with beautiful fenced yard and your dog can spend lots of time outside playing and enjoying outdoors I am stay home mom and have planty of time for dogs play time. Your dog will have lots of fun in our home and fenced yard. I'd like to know if your dog has any allergies, any health problems. I can administer oral medication. What is your dog's feeding schedule and amount of food he like to eat. I have fanced yard where your dog can have some fun. I can provide walks around the neighborhood, play time, hugs and lots of love.

About: My house has a large backyard stocked with a puppy pool and dog toys thanks to my 2 residents dogs. Not only have I raised my 2 girls (2 Doberman)since they were just a few weeks old (now 3 and 1.5), I’ve previously had a boxer (she passed at 13 years old). I’ve also pet sat both large and small dogs and plenty of cats! I have a cat of my own (Meowth 6yrs). I work remotely from my house most days—let’s talk schedule when we chat! I typically won’t introduce my picky girls to new pups right away. Thanks to my husband and niece, they get lots of attention and love. If the vibe is right, we can def do some pack walks and slow intros. Slow and steady wins the race! Plus, with my husband watching my babes, I can give yours a more TLC while you’re out. If that doesn’t work, I’m also open to pet sitting at your home—whatever you pet needs! I’m an overprotective pet mom myself so I totally understand the need to make sure your pet isn’t only safe but also happy while you’re away. I’m happy to send picture and video updates while your pet stays with me (or during a walk/drop in). You can call, text, video chat anytime. I typically send at least 4 updates with photos and videos a day. I’m also close to the vet in case any emergency arises! Not to mention I’m an avid hiker and a (very novice) canicross runner—my pups love to run and hike! If you’re comfortable with your dogs going on a long hike with me, I’m happy to take them on an adventure to one of the nearby forest preserves. Or if frisbee is more your pups thing, I have a 100yd leash and a huge field near me that my dogs also frequent. Don’t be afraid to mention any behavioral problems, just let me know and we can find something that works for everyone. I’ve had experience with reactive dogs. I’m happy to continue your training while your dog is with me. I currently work mostly remotely! I’m home with my girls all day long and happy to host your pup, too. With enough notice I should be able to work fully remote when your baby is over—but let’s discuss! On the weekends, we love to spend as much time outdoors/on trails as possible. Your pet is my priority. I focus on how they are acting individually and with others so they can stay happy and safe. Attention and urgency with everything is key to me.

About: I've had a dog pretty much at all times since I was 6. My home is affectionately called The Pound, to some, it's called Club Bow Wow. As an adult I had a Jack Russell that crossed the rainbow when she was 17 years old. We had so much fun together, even in her senior years when her lifestyle changed. My current dog Bailey Rose was a rescue that truly found me at a time I thought I was not going to get a dog again. The moment I saw her, I knew she was going to be mine! Since adopting Bailey I have fostered 6 pups and she has been the best foster sister. My home has had up to 6 family dogs at the same time, hence the name The Pound. Whether it be for a visit or for sitting dogs love to be here because the feel the love and energy from me! I've boarded dogs for weeks at a time, although I prefer to board for shorter time. We take daily walks and play in my large yard multiple times a day. Your dog will be in safe loving hands with me and they will definitely have a fun time with Team Maggie and Bailey at The Pound. I work from home Monday thru Friday. My work time is pretty flexible so I can take breaks as needed for walks/check-in/playtime. I am also available on weekends as needed. I have a large fenced in yard. My home has space for your dog to freely roam and I have the space to crate if that is your preference. I have dog beds in my office while I work if your pup likes to be near their human friends.
