About: I’ve cared for 7 dogs and 2 cats throughout their full life span, from puppyhood and kittenhood to senior years, including pets with special senior care needs. About: Why do I do what I do? Because there's no feeling like receiving that first tail wag, head bump, or slobbery kiss. My calling is to advocate for the ones who can't do it themselves and to care for them. Having 6 cats and some reptiles of my own and being a Veterinary Technician is what my life consists of and I love it. Being a Veterinary Technician aids me in many ways while pet sitting. Being able to read animals body language and understand their ways of communicating allow me to bond and build trust with my pet friends. I'm comfortable with all breeds, temperaments, special needs, and feline friends(spicy ones too). Building that bond with all my furry friends is what brings joy to my soul. Making sure every pet is happy, healthy, and feels safe are my main priority, always! I have the luxury of creating my own schedule so fortunately I am very flexible. Lately I have been sitting, walking, and doing drop-ins on a more regular basis. I do have a part-time job, but that schedule is made according to my business schedule. Pet care comes first! About: Since I was 11, my neighbors have trusted me to feed and walk their dogs + cats. I have handled very large dogs but also small dogs without struggle, with a wide range of ages from puppies to seniors. I have worked with multiple special needs animals and can administer any kind of medicine. I am a student so I have summer off right now, but start school august 25th. Most important holidays I will be gone out of town for. I am in a boating family, so most weekends we try to get out onto the lake during the summer!! Mostly only free during summer and Christmas break, I try to keep my calendar up to date but feel free to always reach out! I have a fenced in yard with enough space for your pups to run around and play. My neighborhood is a very safe and quiet area. About: I have previously worked in a dog and cat daycare, boarding, and grooming center for three years, and have watched pets of family friends since 2018. I have owned and cared for dogs, cats, snakes, birds, and more, and my family regularly fosters kittens! I am comfortable with feeding, giving medication (not injections), walking, and providing care for all types of pets. My schedule is available for overnight care at your home, daily drop-ins, single visits, or walks. Please ask me about any accommodations you may need and I will see if I can provide them. In your house, I am happy to follow any instructions about leashed or unleashed time on walks or in your backyard, will feed on your schedule, and can spend time with your pet as much as you need.
