“Catherine took really great care of our dog. Left very excellent and detailed notes on the visits and also took great pictures and we felt very safe and secure that she was watching our family pet.”

About: I live in Edison Park, but work in McCook/Chicago during the day/week or sometimes from home. I manage my time really well, so I can make anything early in the morning,/on my lunch break work- plus weekends or after work. I have always had dogs my entire life. I grew up with a chocolate lab mix, then when she passed away my family got a three legged black lab and a chesapeake bay retriever. Then, when I was in college, a chocolate lab climbed into my car and after months of trying to find his owners, I decided to keep him. Those puppies have since passed, but our family has 2 giant black labs currently. I’ve also had 4 Guinea Pigs who I loved dearly. I currently work from home part of the time and love four legged angels (sometimes 3, I had a 3 legged dog growing up). I am available in the early mornings, evenings and on the weekends consistently, but can work out weekday daytime availability with advanced notice. I make sure the animals all have the appropriate food/water setups at all times (per owners instructions depending on pet’s specific needs), as well as making sure the temperature is comfortable for the pet. I prioritize exercise and bathroom breaks for each pet. There is never a lack of social interaction when I am around. Pretty much, I view pets as family and think they deserve the best. If they have specific requirements, I will always follow whatever rules the owner requests and talk through any concerns before booking.
“Mario was great for our dogs and really cared for them while we were out of town. We were worried leaving during fireworks since one is terrified, but he calmed him down great! Mario was very informative and replied quickly. We will definitely use him again!”

“Ellie was a fantastic person to care for my cat while I was away. She was responsive to all of my messages to set up our initial meeting. She is very well versed in animal care and behaviors which made me feel confident in using her service. While I was away, she was sure to take several photos and her daily cat card reports were so detailed, I felt like I was there with her. I would highly recommend her and not only would I book a repeat service, I already have!”

“Loren took such good care of our chows. She connected very quickly with their different sensibilities, and provided each the individual attention they needed during each drop-in visit. We so appreciate her help and would highly recommend her for anyone needing someone to care for their pups!”

“Julianna was amazing. He communication was awesome. She took care of Milo and Kitty like they were her own. We highly recommend her and hope she will sit for us again if needed. Thank you so much!”

“Scott was absolutely fantastic checking in on our 2 cats. He was extremely patient and ensured the more anxious of our 2 cats was okay and eating / drinking while we were gone. Thank you Scott!”

About: My daughter and I have been boarding dogs for years and love it, we really focus on one families pet at a time so we give him/her our full love and attention. We will take up to 2 dogs at a time. We love to walk and play with the dogs. We have a large fully enclosed back yard in addition to a park at the end of our block we can walk dogs around a large walking path. We text photos and funny videos of us with your pet. My daughter is off to college this year and this will assist her school fund. We love these dogs as if they were our own. WE love taking care of pets, We love staying active walking and playing with the dogs. We will not take dogs if we do not have time for them. I have an enclosed back yard that is perfect for active dogs to chase birds and have a bit of an area to run free. We do walk the dogs to our local park at the end of our block.
“This is my first time using Rover & Emily has made it a great experience! She was able to answer all of our questions before hand and when it came to taking care of our pup, she was very communicative throughout! I also appreciated all the pictures! It was clear my dog felt very comfortable with her! Will highly rebook again!”

About: I have taken care of various breeds and 6+ dogs at one time from a young age. I currently have a 13 year old husky-bulldog mix and a 5 year old redbone coonhound! I have experience with chihuahuas to pit bulls to German shepherds to Boston terriers to boxers to labs to golden retrievers! I’m currently working full time, x4 days weekly. However, I am available for early morning care, evening care, and my days off. I’m new to this app. I am more than happy to work with y’all, if y’all will work with me! Unfortunately, I will not be offering in-my home care at this time. However, I do have 2 fur babies and a fenced in yard if this idea ever changes. I would be more than happy to care for your fur baby in your home in whatever capacity and setting you provide.

“Ada was absolutely fantastic! She took care of our five cats for over a week while we were on vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. About: Hii, I'm Beata! I have always been a huge animal lover and I have had dogs/animals all my life. As a pet owner myself I know how important reliable and dedicated pet care is. I've been entrusted by family and friends care for their beloved furry friends, establishing a reputation build on trust and reliability. I approach each furry friend with the same level of care and attentions if they were my one. I am comfortable with any size dog and I take care of all types of animals. I am very flexible and reliable. I can do long term or short term. I'm good with last minute notice or emergency bookings (if available). I'll make sure to provide happy, comfortable, safe environment at all times. I can administrate medicine if needed. Whatever your pet needs to feel comfortable and at home.

About: If my headline didn’t give it away, I LOVE dogs. I love dogs of all sizes and breeds. I got my first dog at 16, a miniature poodle, and cared for him until I moved away from home. Now I have a nine year old (spoiled) Pointer Hound mix who I (probably) annoy with kisses and hugs on a daily basis. I’ve fostered dogs. I’ve transported them across states. Each dog is unique but I can confidently say I will care for your fur baby as if he or she were my own, no matter the size or breed. I look forward to making new furry friends! I work from home so I’m available to care for your pet 24/7. Plus a fenced in yard means lots of opportunities for potty breaks and play time outdoors. I will do my best to make your fur baby feel at home. I have lots of pet beds in multiple areas of my home and they can even hang out on the couch. We don’t mind! If they prefer the safety of their crate, that’s okay too! Wherever your pet feels comfortable is where I want him/her to be.
“Brinda was so great with our boys. We were worried that they'd hide from someone new, but they loved her immediately. She was always so thorough and communicative and made sure that both we and our boys were comfortable.”

Michelle took exceptional care of my two pitbulls during my three‑week trip. From the very first drop‑in, her professionalism, calm energy, and genuine love for animals were obvious. My dogs absolutely adored her — their body language, their excitement, and their relaxed behavior told me everything I needed to know. She followed every instruction perfectly, sent thoughtful updates, and treated my pups as if they were her own. Knowing they were in such capable and caring hands gave me real peace of mind while I was away.I’m truly grateful for Michelle’s kindness and reliability. She is a gem, and I would trust her with my dogs anytime!

This was my first time leaving my cat with someone, so I was honestly a little nervous. But Jillian made the whole experience so easy and stress-free. She took such good care of him, kept me updated, and I could tell he was in great hands. Coming home and seeing him happy and relaxed meant so much to me. I’m really grateful for everything she did and would definitely trust her again. I highly recommend her!

Brianna is a pleasant, friendly young lady. My dogs loved her. She arrived when she said she would, fed the dogs, and let them romp a bit. Just what they needed. I was able to go pick up my college student and round rip home (14 hrs) without worrying about the dogs and without paying for two nights boarding. All in all, a great deal!
Stacy has a phenomenal gift with animals! They love her instantly. She is punctual. Follows your care plan for your pet. Is trustworthy in your home and communicates well. Part of her communication, is an incredible ability to photograph animals, which she shares freely with you while you are away. I had never heard of Rover, Stacy was my first contact. I will be using her again and again.
