About: I have grown up and cared for animals my entire life (well since I was a little kid). I have always had dogs and the only reason I do not right now is my condo doesn't allow them. I love to go on long walks, cuddle on the couch with the pups, play fetch, all while ensuring them that their people will be coming home! I work from home so I have the ability to hangout with your animals all day, stay a little longer if I am scheduled for periodic visits throughout the day, and can have cats stay at my condo. My cats run the show at home right now as this is their home. They are not restricted to any areas and can play as they wish. I will treat your pets as if they are my own in your home as well. I understand the importance of making them feel safe and loved while their people are away as they can be a little nervous. If they go on 3 walks a day, I will take them on 3 walks a day, etc.!

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. We've always had pets in my household, I've watched friends and families dogs for 18+years I work full time but have flex availability. My days off vary by the week. Generally start work at 830 but can leave and let dogs out during breaks. I like to go on walks with dogs, and have play time with both cats and dogs. I usually go over to your home and or spend the night if you're away.

About: I took care of my neighbors dogs throughout high school. I started volunteering at a shelter in St Louis and have experience with dogs who are afraid of strangers, are reactive, and have medical needs. My family has a 13 year old mix which we adopted when he was 10 years old. I currently work part-time as an adoption counselor at a non-profit animal shelter in Northbrook! I work part time and am in school, but I am overall pretty available, especially in the evenings! My schedule can fluctuate, so please reach out for more information! My late dog was a little dog reactive and approximately 60 lbs so I have daily experience working with reactivity. While caring for pets that are not mine, I never let strangers or other dogs ever approach them for the safety and comfort of your dog. I like to keep emergency treats on me in case a dog suddenly becomes reactive to something in the environment or becomes fearful of something. I have experience with prong collars and can safely use them on a walk IF that’s the preferred method for the dog. I always follow instructions to a T and always like to keep good communication between myself and the client while caring for their dog!

About: I have a Shi Tzu of my own for 10 years. Had a Yorkie as well who was on insulin for diabetes, he was blind. I am a stay at home empty nester who absolutely love dogs and enjoy them to the fullest. Any dog is part of the family!!! I live in a single family home with a huge fenced in yard. They are free to roam in my house, no restrictions, just fun!

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since i was 14 . Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets... About: I’ve been part-time pet-sitting and dog-walking for about the past year, primarily for neighbors living within the same apartment building as me. I’d like to branch out and help more local clients with pet-care needs. I primarily have dog-sitting, dog-walking, and cat-sitting experience. I’ve also pet-sat for rabbits as well. Most of the dogs I’ve cared for have had at least some behavioral training, but to various degrees. I do sometimes get asked to care for multiple pets simultaneously. I will discuss options available surrounding such a situation with you to find the best solution. Pet-care is part-time work for me, but fun work that I get life experience and time with loving animals out of. While it’s not a daily routine, I have cared for animals often enough that I know how to shift-gears and make it a routine, as I have had dogs that I was sitting stay at my place for multiple week-long periods. Please note that I do work a full-time M-F, 9-5 job in an office. So, if you are planning on boarding your pets at my place during the work week, it is greatly preferred that the pets are ones that require less physical presence & attention. We can discuss this though as needed. Most often, I walk-dogs, pick up & dispose of their droppings, prepare their food and water, clean their food and water dishes, feed them if necessary, board them if necessary, and play with them. Pets that are boarded are allowed to be on my bed and couches, including overnight. Dogs that are boarded receive some indoors play time. I am able to walk dogs up to 4 times per day on work days (I am able to come home during lunch hours to walk dogs), and an unlimited number of times on weekends. My apartment building has a small semi-indoor (it is exposed, but has a roof for weather protection) dog area on the 3rd floor of the building with astroturf where dogs can urinate and poop freely. While there is no yard, my apartment building is next to a residential area and a church with a large yard area that is commonly utilized by the area’s dog owners to walk their dogs in.
