“Best dog sitter I know, reliable, honest and caring!”

About: I have grown up and cared for animals my entire life (well since I was a little kid). I have always had dogs and the only reason I do not right now is my condo doesn't allow them. I love to go on long walks, cuddle on the couch with the pups, play fetch, all while ensuring them that their people will be coming home! I work from home so I have the ability to hangout with your animals all day, stay a little longer if I am scheduled for periodic visits throughout the day, and can have cats stay at my condo. My cats run the show at home right now as this is their home. They are not restricted to any areas and can play as they wish. I will treat your pets as if they are my own in your home as well. I understand the importance of making them feel safe and loved while their people are away as they can be a little nervous. If they go on 3 walks a day, I will take them on 3 walks a day, etc.!

“I always have peace of mind when Ellie is taking care of our girls!! She ensures everything is cared for: play, relaxation, house items, etc. We love Ellie!!”

“Michael was amazing!!! He checked in on our dogs twice, fed them, and took them out on a potty break. One of our dogs had an accident, but he did such a great job cleaning up, i couldnt even tell where it happened. He also left a very detailed note for each of the visits and sent pictures. We cannot recommend him enough, and will definetely be using him again in the future! Thanks so much Michael!!!”

“From our initial meeting to the final outcome, Liz was amazing! Our doggies, kitties, and home were all in excellent condition when we returned from our weekend getaway. Liz communicated promptly if any questions or issues came up and handled everything with care. She’s fantastic with both big dogs and our high-energy little one! Responsible, respectful, and just an all-around great person. We’ll definitely be recommending her and booking again in the future. 10/10 Thank you again, Liz!”

“We went on a 4 week vacation and this was the first time working with Liz - she was wonderful! Responsible, photos everyday, and she wasn’t afraid to get covered in our meow’s fur ;) To our delight, we not only returned to a kitty who was completely relaxed & happy (he normally gives us attitude like he’s punishing us for leaving), but also a clean, fur free home (normally after 1 day there is fur everywhere - it was so nice to not have this added stress upon our arrival). We will definitely use Liz again… THANK YOU LIZ!”

“Heather is always an absolute delight to have watch our two dogs. They are so excited to see her, even though they are picky with their people! She spends extra time and gives them so much love.”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. We've always had pets in my household, I've watched friends and families dogs for 18+years I work full time but have flex availability. My days off vary by the week. Generally start work at 830 but can leave and let dogs out during breaks. I like to go on walks with dogs, and have play time with both cats and dogs. I usually go over to your home and or spend the night if you're away.

About: I took care of my neighbors dogs throughout high school. I started volunteering at a shelter in St Louis and have experience with dogs who are afraid of strangers, are reactive, and have medical needs. My family has a 13 year old mix which we adopted when he was 10 years old. I currently work part-time as an adoption counselor at a non-profit animal shelter in Northbrook! I work part time and am in school, but I am overall pretty available, especially in the evenings! My schedule can fluctuate, so please reach out for more information! My late dog was a little dog reactive and approximately 60 lbs so I have daily experience working with reactivity. While caring for pets that are not mine, I never let strangers or other dogs ever approach them for the safety and comfort of your dog. I like to keep emergency treats on me in case a dog suddenly becomes reactive to something in the environment or becomes fearful of something. I have experience with prong collars and can safely use them on a walk IF that’s the preferred method for the dog. I always follow instructions to a T and always like to keep good communication between myself and the client while caring for their dog!

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to older dogs, I provide personalized and attentive care tailored to each dog’s unique needs. Passionate about outdoor activities, I ensure active dogs get plenty of exercise, while also offering calm companionship for more relaxed pets. Committed, reliable, and caring, I strive to create a positive and enjoyable experience for every dog I care for. I have also taken care of dogs with diabetes and other conditions, so following medication schedules and administering the medications is something I have experience in. I am a chiropractic graduate student, my time at school is spent in our out-patient clinic and studying for Board exams. My academic schedule allows me to offer daytime, evening, and weekend availability to meet your pet’s needs. I have afternoons and weekends available, which I dedicate to both focused study sessions and providing attentive care for pets. I’m flexible with my time and can easily integrate walks, playtime, or just hanging out into my routine. Due to building policies, I am unable to care for dogs in my apartment. However, I am fully committed to providing safe, attentive, and loving care in your home, ensuring a comfortable and familiar environment for your pet while you’re away.

About: I am a caring, and reliable sitter, who considers every pets personality and treats them like family. My goals is to make sure that your pet is not only safe and healthy but also happy! I have lots of free time since being back from college and have a pretty flexible schedule! I’ll have plenty of time to care for your furry one! I will care for each pet based on their needs and location. Frequent walks, potty breaks, and playtime. I will also make sure to keep them well fed and hydrated. Of course some cuddles never hurt!

She kept us informed throughout the process of her visit. I would highly recommend Elle for any Rover service!”

“Emma did a great job watching our dog and cats while we were out of town! She showed up on time for all the check-ins, which was such a relief to know their routine was being kept up. She sent lots of pictures and I could see all the animals loved her, even our skittish cat came out to get some love!”

About: I’ve been part-time pet-sitting and dog-walking for about the past year, primarily for neighbors living within the same apartment building as me. I’d like to branch out and help more local clients with pet-care needs. I primarily have dog-sitting, dog-walking, and cat-sitting experience. I’ve also pet-sat for rabbits as well. Most of the dogs I’ve cared for have had at least some behavioral training, but to various degrees. I do sometimes get asked to care for multiple pets simultaneously. I will discuss options available surrounding such a situation with you to find the best solution. Pet-care is part-time work for me, but fun work that I get life experience and time with loving animals out of. While it’s not a daily routine, I have cared for animals often enough that I know how to shift-gears and make it a routine, as I have had dogs that I was sitting stay at my place for multiple week-long periods. Please note that I do work a full-time M-F, 9-5 job in an office. So, if you are planning on boarding your pets at my place during the work week, it is greatly preferred that the pets are ones that require less physical presence & attention. We can discuss this though as needed. Most often, I walk-dogs, pick up & dispose of their droppings, prepare their food and water, clean their food and water dishes, feed them if necessary, board them if necessary, and play with them. Pets that are boarded are allowed to be on my bed and couches, including overnight. Dogs that are boarded receive some indoors play time. I am able to walk dogs up to 4 times per day on work days (I am able to come home during lunch hours to walk dogs), and an unlimited number of times on weekends. My apartment building has a small semi-indoor (it is exposed, but has a roof for weather protection) dog area on the 3rd floor of the building with astroturf where dogs can urinate and poop freely. While there is no yard, my apartment building is next to a residential area and a church with a large yard area that is commonly utilized by the area’s dog owners to walk their dogs in.

14. Michelle V.
“I had the absolute pleasure of having Michelle care for my two cats while I was in Barcelona for two weeks, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Not only was she completely trustworthy, but she also went above and beyond in every way. She sent me regular updates and videos—even when I didn’t ask—just to keep me in the loop and help ease the distance. It was clear that she genuinely enjoyed spending time with my cats, and her care made me feel completely at ease while I was away. I didn’t worry about them once, which is a huge deal for any pet parent. When I got home, my cats were happy, healthy, and clearly well-loved—and to this day, they still gravitate toward her whenever she’s around. I wholeheartedly recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.”

18. Soukaina E.
“I have a small dog who is really clingy with me so i was worried about leaving her to someone during my travel. But someone recommended me Soukaina and since i was desperate I decided to entrust my dog to her.
