“The absolute best! We do not live close to Kimberly but the level of care and love she and her family give to both our babies makes the travel absolutely worth it. She makes our pets apart of her family and they absolutely adore staying with Kim. Highly recommended!”

“My dog felt like he was at home with Lauren! Awesome experience throughout. I was given updates and pictures. Felt at ease during my vacation knowing my dog was well taken care of. Would definitely book again with Lauren!”

“Gabriela and Richard were so kind and sweet with my toy poodle! They even took her on little adventures to get doggie ice cream and nice walks around the neighborhood, aside from plenty of outside time in their own fenced-in backyard! Gabriela was super great about texting updates and super cute pics of my girl! And they even got her to eat a good bit while I was away even though she usually tries to go on a hunger strike in my absence. Gabriela met us for like 15 mins at the local park before boarding and got to know my dog and garner some info from me, which I really appreciated and not a lot of boarders do that! My girl was very happy when I picked her up and I would absolutely rebook Gabriela and Richard! Highly recommend!”

“Dasha loved her stay with Janette and Charles! They kept us updated with pictures and videos and our puppy couldn’t get enough of the other dogs and fenced in yard.”

“We brought Scotch to Kent’s place for Christmas while we went out of state. Kent was so kind from the start and Scotch warmed up to him very quickly. We were so glad to see our shy boy so happy in all the photos Kent sent us. Scotch was picked up happy, healthy, well fed, and well walked. We will definitely be reaching out to Kent when we need a sitter again. Would definitely recommend!”

“Another fun stay! Jenny went crazy happy when we arrived. So much attention. This is definitely like a second home for her. Thanks Doug & Deb and family!”

“Tatiana was the best! She was very accommodating with a last minute request for a new client on Mother’s Day weekend. She sent pictures, gave updates, and you could tell our puppy Champ was having a great time. Tatyana was very professional courteous and we will be using her again in the future.”

“Diana and her family are the absolute best!! Our pup has been at Diana's house during winter break for the past 3 years since he was a small puppy, and he gets so much love at her house. He even recognizes her house now and will pull me to her house when we arrive! I appreciate the pictures she sends and updates!”

“This was Daisy’s first stay with Joe but it won’t be her last! Joe clearly loves dogs and that gave us peace of mind on our vacation. We loved the photos and videos he shared with us. It was great to see Daisy enjoying herself with him. I have no hesitation in recommending Joe.”

“Fantastic experience with Laura and Vladimir. Communication was great throughout. They sent pictures and updates on the dogs daily. Both my dogs seemed really happy when I picked them up. Would definitely recommend and use them again.”

“Mario took great care of our Rhea when we went on vacation. He consistently updated us everyday with pictures of our dog. He responds to us right away and made us feel that Rhea is well taken cared of. Thank you, Mario!”

“i would give 10 stars if i could! Thao took great care of our puppy and we’ve never seen our dog so happy while away from us. We got so many updates and even with the severe weather that occurred during our dogs stay, Thao ensured our dogs safety and comfort! We are extremely grateful for Thao’s expertise and support and would 100% trust her for another stay in the future!”

“Elva is very communicative and was so great with Sloan while watching her over the 4th of July. Sloan is already very anxious so the fireworks don’t help, but she was very calm and well taken care of when I picked her up.”

“We’ve been preparing for this long stay with a few overnight stays to get our dog Poppy To get acclimated. Poppy stayed with Noor and her family for 12 nights!! We got updates and pics regularly. Poppy seemed so happy and cared for with them when I came To pick her up she didn’t want to leave right away. Really appreciate all of Noor’s Communication.l Plus all the love her family members have to apply. We’re thrilled to have a found a caring sitter.”

“I’d like to share my experience with Christina, who recently cared for my dog, Moxy. Right before the boarding, Moxy had an injury, and I was a bit nervous about leaving her. But Christina was incredibly understanding and attentive from the start. She went above and beyond to make sure Moxy was comfortable and well taken care of. Christina kept me updated throughout the stay with messages and photos, which really helped ease my mind. She made sure Moxy was fed properly and gave her the extra attention she needed during recovery. Despite the circumstances, Moxy was happy and relaxed with Christina — I could tell she felt safe and cared for. I’m truly grateful for the compassionate and professional service Christina provided and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and loving dog sitter.”

“Oh my goodness, our dog Blue had a fantastic time staying with Deborah and we were completely relaxed about it the entire time! Deborah is kind, patient and really cares for the dogs she watches. Our dog is only 1 and has a LOT of energy, we were thrilled there was another dog for Blue to play with during her stay. Deborah also is a fantastic photographer, she can take some truly professional level action shots of the dogs. Thank you Deborah for taking us on, I was relaxed with you the moment I met you! Blue is happy and so are we!!”

“Maria is the absolute best! We have worked with Maria a few times and she is our favorite resource for boarding. She is outstanding with our 2 dogs. One of my boys is a senior and requires gentle care. Maria goes above and beyond to meet the needs of my boy. She is so communicative and cordial. Truly the gold standard!”

“Agnes was so kind and great with our cats. Even our shy cats made an appearance and over fourth of July weekend. She sent wonderful pictures and updates and I knew they were in great hands. Would definitely book again!”

“Nicholas has been great with our cats. He genuinely took the time to play with them and make them feel comfortable, which really stood out. Even our shy who usually hide from everyone came out to play and interact. We felt completely at ease knowing our cats were in such good hands”

About: As a proud pet owner myself, I know that our animals aren't just pets—they are cherished members of the family. I take immense pride and honor in providing the highest level of care, backed by decades of hands-on experience. My background includes over 15 years of experience working with German Shepherd/Sheep Herd dogs, understanding their unique loyalty, energy, and intelligence. Additionally, I have 28 years of dedicated experience caring for felines—both male and female indoor cats—giving me a deep understanding of their diverse personalities, needs, and behaviors. When your pets are with me, they will receive the same fierce love, respect, and attentive care that I give to my very own. My daily life revolves around my own vibrant pet family: one high-energy German Shepherd and three indoor cats. Managing this household has taught me the art of a perfect routine—balancing the physical and mental stimulation needed for intelligent herd breeds with the quiet, structured care that felines thrive on. From morning walks and puzzle toys for large breeds to meticulous litter box maintenance and separate feeding schedules for multiple cats, pet care is seamlessly integrated into my everyday routine. I know exactly what it takes to keep a multi-pet home safe, organized, and filled with love, and I am excited to bring that same dedicated, expert care to your beloved animals! As a dedicated pet provider, safety isn't just a checkbox for me—it is the foundation of how I manage my home and routine. I believe that a predictable, structured environment combined with purposeful engagement is key to keeping animals secure, happy, and stress-free. Secure & Supervised Environments: To ensure total safety, my cats remain strictly indoors at all times, protected from outside hazards. When out in the beauty of nature, dogs are strictly kept on a leash to guarantee full control and security. Confidence-Building Playtime: I know that cats thrive on mental stimulation just as much as dogs do. Structured playtime with felines is a priority in my home because it burns excess energy, prevents stress, and—most importantly—builds their confidence and security in their environment. Structured Rest & Crate Comfort: I respect an animal's need for boundaries and decompression. If a dog needs downtime to relax or reset, I utilize crate training as a safe, positive haven for them to unwind. Proactive Health & Bloat Prevention: Having deep experience with large breeds, I am hyper-aware of digestive health. All meals are served on a strict, timely schedule. Furthermore, I enforce mandatory, quiet rest periods immediately after eating to prevent any digestive discomfort or dangerous conditions like bloat. When you trust me with your pets, you are getting an environment rooted in vigilance, confidence-building routine, and a deep respect for animal wellness.

“Ellie was an incredible caregiver for our cats. She always went the extra mile during our trip, and was responsive at all times. One of our cats is a bit of a handful, and Ellie cared for him with ease (and lots of love). We are thankful to her for all of her hard work and attention. We can’t recommend Ellie more highly!”

About: I haven’t owned a cat personally. However, I have grown up around cats. I cat-sit for my grandmothers 6+ cats as a young girl. Now, I cat-sit for my sister’s 3! I’m always down for a good making biscuits sesh, just as your house.. not mine. Lol Can’t wait to meet your fur babies!

“Aine was exceptional in caring for our young feline while we were away for 7days .We were able to work out our difference in schedules to accommodate caring for Nina and was able to Care for her needs in a respectful way. I would recommend her”

“Karina did a great job taking care of my kitties as usual. Additionally, she went above and beyond in taking care of my many plants while I was away. I was happy to return home to well taken care of kitties and thriving plants.”

“Jenny is the best. She sends adorable photos and tells me everything (good and bad) I need to know about my cat. She really takes a lot of the pressure of leaving off my shoulders and I cannot thank her enough!”

“Took great care of my cat Chole while I was out of town for over two weeks. Provided great pictures and kept in contact to let me know how my cat was adjusting to the new environment. The area where she kept Chloe was a good size, plenty of places for her to hide to acclimate, and able to be segregated from other animals in the house if needed. Would definitely recommend!”

“Best sitter ever! Helped our anxious dogs through a week of our absence and allowed my family and I to enjoy a vacation and family wedding with ease! Thank you SO much, Yazmin!”

“Liz did a great job for my two cats! Although they are initially a little wary or guarded with new people, they both were receptive to Liz; she even got my most wary cat to warm up enough for pets (practically unheard of with past strangers). She followed my extensive instructions thoroughly, and alerted me to anything that may have been "off" during her visits. My picky eaters chose not to eat most of their pate wet food from one of their meals- Liz sent me a picture and asked if this was typical behavior (and yes, par-for-the-course for them). I felt reassured that she was observing higher-level things, in addition to accomplishing the checklist for each visit. Liz even took care of my crested gecko, which is beyond her typical pervue. It was a great relief that I had care for all of my animals in one person. Liz was great to work with: communicative, detail-oriented, and an animal whisperer. I will definitely book her again for my next trip! Thank you for all of your help, Liz!”

About: I’ve had cats since I was young and have experience with all types of personalities—from playful and social to shy and independent. I understand when cats need space and when they’re in the mood for attention and cuddles. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, brushing, and making sure each cat feels safe, relaxed, and cared for while their owner is away.

“My cat can be finicky when we travel and doesn't want to eat properly. Not an issue this trip. Thanks to Jackie. She made it a family affair including her daughter in pet care. This is great in my opinion as it teaches responsibility and proper pet care as well as offers new experiences for the pets she's caring for. My kitty is getting old & lazy, but she responded well to their care and is happy and healthy. Thank you! Will reach out in the future as needed.”

“Kymberly is the absolute best!! I know this because I saw how Asta responded to being loved by Kymberly! I really appreciate the attention she paid to my fur baby and I will definitely request her again!”

“We could not ask for a better first experience. Tanya took excellent care of our new puppy. From potty breaks to play times she was there with him sending updates and pics. We were able to enjoy our night knowing he was in good hands. Thanks again.”

“I am so blessed to have found her not far from home to watch over my 13 months old high energy puppy. After the first dog sitter he came to crash in his crate. He had no energy to not even jump. As first time dog owner- I have no idea what I’m doing but Jackie sure is a dog whisperer.”

“Diana was responsive and accommodated my schedule last minute. Loki seemed well cared for and happy when I picked him up. I know he had a good time, because he was calm and tired when he got home. I will definitely go back and recommend Diana for doggy day care.”

“We were so blessed that Bob was not only available on a Saturday at short notice, but willing to watch our three fur babies, one them elderly and in need of medication! We are from out of state, and had to bring the dogs with us. Saturday required us to be a part of an all-day 50th anniversary celebration, so the dogs needed to be attended to for 10 hours. Bob was incredibly gracious, caring, and attentive to details about our furbies; especially our sweet Maddie, who is blind and requires medication three times a day. What a gift to us to not have to worry about them! We received updates throughout the evening, and when we returned to pick them up, all was well. The pups were happy and had a good time. Bob, we will look for you again if we are ever in Chicago with our dogs. I cannot express how grateful we are to have found you!”

“Hands down one of the best sitters EVER! My cuddle bug had been going to her previous sitter for about 5 months and was still trying to warm up to them. However, after a week with Jonelle, Gina was wiggling her butt ready to go. One day she just walked into Jonelle's house without turning back to say bye or to whine. She's truly amazing and makes sure your dogs are treated as part of her family. Her family is just as great about letting your dog have space and build up comfort to bond with them. If you want someone who has great communication, is compassionate, and loves on your dogs (to the point you might consider your dog a traitor) then Jonelle is absolutely the person for you. All around a great person and sitter.”

“Janessa was absolutely amazing! Her communication to understand my dog prior made me feel so comfortable, and the attentiveness/updates while Berkeley was at her home made me feel so reassured and trusting. Janessa’s home is the perfect place for your doggo to spend time at - I absolutely recommend you choose Janessa for your fur-paninis’ needs!!”

About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover and hands-on caregiver. I raised my own dog from the time I was 15, so I have real experience caring for a dog through every stage of life, from energetic younger years to senior care. I take pet safety and comfort seriously and treat every animal as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs playtime, calm companionship, or extra TLC, I’m attentive, gentle, and dependable. Pet care is now my full-time focus, which means I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to every pet in my care. I provide regular updates so owners feel confident and at ease while their pets are in my care. “Arlene is great! Benny was so excited to return to her house. She went out of her way to make pickup easy - taking him to the park, where we were able to meet her. Great service and care.”

“Eileen is wonderful! Our dog requires special attention due to a recent surgery. I was hesitant on leaving him with anyone. She was great with the special needs he required. She was attentive to him and kept us posted on his daily stay with her. She included pictures as well. Will be using Eileen again. Hoping that our pooch is better with his surgery at that time.”

“1st impressions is everything. It was Friday and we needed a puppy sitter on Sunday for Kira. Our first time using Karina and she took our Kira with open arms and a smile. Taking care of Kira included not just feeding and potty breaks, but also socializing with her dogs and a couple of videos of play time. THATS LOVE! Highly recommend her for puppy/dog parents who want a pleasant experience for that special member in the family. When we took Kira home, she was so exhausted from the fun she had with the other dogs, she was asleep for the rest of the night.”

“My dog Coco had a wonderful time with Emily and Amy and their dog, Pepperoni 🌶. I would certainly recommend Emily to anyone needing doggy day care. And I will certainly bring Coco again.”

“Elva and her daughter rescued my Saturday, I needed to find a sitter for my dog Sugar on just a few hours notice, and they came through for me! They took great care of her, sent a couple of pics/updates, and I'm happy to recommend!”

“Kasia accommodated my very last minute day-of request to watch my dog who is having really bad separation anxiety. She was so kind, friendly, and upbeat, and I was able to go to work without worrying.”

My schedule is pretty open currently as I am studying for my personal trainers certificate! I am also a bodybuilder so my life really revolves around the gym! My schedule is currently very flexible. My bulldogs at home love walks 1-2 times a day which I have been able to help out with when there. I hope to offer similar services!

Would recommend, thank you!”

About: I live in Edison Park, but work in McCook/Chicago during the day/week or sometimes from home. I manage my time really well, so I can make anything early in the morning,/on my lunch break work- plus weekends or after work. I have always had dogs my entire life. I grew up with a chocolate lab mix, then when she passed away my family got a three legged black lab and a chesapeake bay retriever. Then, when I was in college, a chocolate lab climbed into my car and after months of trying to find his owners, I decided to keep him. Those puppies have since passed, but our family has 2 giant black labs currently. I’ve also had 4 Guinea Pigs who I loved dearly. I currently work from home part of the time and love four legged angels (sometimes 3, I had a 3 legged dog growing up). I am available in the early mornings, evenings and on the weekends consistently, but can work out weekday daytime availability with advanced notice. I make sure the animals all have the appropriate food/water setups at all times (per owners instructions depending on pet’s specific needs), as well as making sure the temperature is comfortable for the pet. I prioritize exercise and bathroom breaks for each pet. There is never a lack of social interaction when I am around. Pretty much, I view pets as family and think they deserve the best. If they have specific requirements, I will always follow whatever rules the owner requests and talk through any concerns before booking.
“Elizabeth was easy to work with and provided timely feedback of walks. She left updates on each walk along with pictures of our dog each day. I highly recommend Elizabeth!”

Your pet’s comfort and happiness will always be my priority I’m currently in college and working part-time, but with summer approaching I have more availability for pet care. I enjoy spending time with animals and helping them stay active and happy. I’m available weekday evenings and nights, as well as all day on weekends. I’m reliable, flexible, and always make sure pets are well cared for and comfortable prioritize safety at all times by following owner instructions carefully, using secure leashes/harnesses, and staying alert during walks or any care that would be provided

About: Helloooo, my name is Veronica and I love all animals ❤️. My parents currently have a 1 and a half year old American Bully who I see everyday to give him a walk. I had experience taking care dogs and cats from all ages, my previous dog Nuka lived until she was 12 years old. I have the best support system available, which is my mom. When I am not available to come for some reason, I know I can always count on her to help me take care of your dog or cat. I will communicate with you and provide you with many photos and videos throughout the booking. I will treat your pet as if it was my own. I have experience with giving oral medication.
About: My house has a large backyard stocked with a puppy pool and dog toys thanks to my 2 residents dogs. Not only have I raised my 2 girls (2 Doberman)since they were just a few weeks old (now 3 and 1.5), I’ve previously had a boxer (she passed at 13 years old). I’ve also pet sat both large and small dogs and plenty of cats! I have a cat of my own (Meowth 6yrs). I work remotely from my house most days—let’s talk schedule when we chat! I typically won’t introduce my picky girls to new pups right away. Thanks to my husband and niece, they get lots of attention and love. If the vibe is right, we can def do some pack walks and slow intros. Slow and steady wins the race! Plus, with my husband watching my babes, I can give yours a more TLC while you’re out. If that doesn’t work, I’m also open to pet sitting at your home—whatever you pet needs! I’m an overprotective pet mom myself so I totally understand the need to make sure your pet isn’t only safe but also happy while you’re away. I’m happy to send picture and video updates while your pet stays with me (or during a walk/drop in). You can call, text, video chat anytime. I typically send at least 4 updates with photos and videos a day. I’m also close to the vet in case any emergency arises! Not to mention I’m an avid hiker and a (very novice) canicross runner—my pups love to run and hike! If you’re comfortable with your dogs going on a long hike with me, I’m happy to take them on an adventure to one of the nearby forest preserves. Or if frisbee is more your pups thing, I have a 100yd leash and a huge field near me that my dogs also frequent. Don’t be afraid to mention any behavioral problems, just let me know and we can find something that works for everyone. I’ve had experience with reactive dogs. I’m happy to continue your training while your dog is with me. I currently work mostly remotely! I’m home with my girls all day long and happy to host your pup, too. With enough notice I should be able to work fully remote when your baby is over—but let’s discuss! On the weekends, we love to spend as much time outdoors/on trails as possible. Your pet is my priority. I focus on how they are acting individually and with others so they can stay happy and safe. Attention and urgency with everything is key to me.

About: I have previously worked in a dog and cat daycare, boarding, and grooming center for three years, and have watched pets of family friends since 2018. I have owned and cared for dogs, cats, snakes, birds, and more, and my family regularly fosters kittens! I am comfortable with feeding, giving medication (not injections), walking, and providing care for all types of pets. My schedule is available for overnight care at your home, daily drop-ins, single visits, or walks. Please ask me about any accommodations you may need and I will see if I can provide them. In your house, I am happy to follow any instructions about leashed or unleashed time on walks or in your backyard, will feed on your schedule, and can spend time with your pet as much as you need. I am happy to try and accommodate any changes you may need to make, give updates with photos, and tell you any behavioral or medical changes as soon as possible.

“Many thanks to Lyn and her family for the great care they provided for our 2 dogs (Joplin and Hampton) over this past weekend. Each is an 8-year-old male and skittish about being separated from us (we have never left them with anyone but close family members). Lyn made them feel right at home from the moment we entered her pet friendly home. She has a warm and engaging personality and seems knowledgeable and really, really loves dogs. The dogs warmed up to her immediately and we left them totally at ease, knowing they would be safe and happy while we were gone. We really appreciate how Lyn accommodated our constantly changing plans as we were attempting to go sailing with a very unpredictable weather pattern. Thanks to Lyn, we feel we can make any future plans and be confident our dogs will be well taken care of.”

“Yuliya is AMAZING! My dogs loved her so much they seconds guessed coming home with me! She is my go to dog sitter and I’m very lucky to have found her on Rover. Thank you for taking such good care of Marcus and Faustina. They’ll be back to stay with you soon!”

“Jonelle was great with stella, and replied msgs on time and updated me about how Stella was doing. I would definitely recommend and rebook with jonelle for future. Thank you jonelle .”

“I was very anxious about leaving my girls while I was on vacation. But Thomas and Kelly took great care of them and sent lots of pictures to ease my mind. I was able to enjoy my vacation much more since I knew my girls were in good hands.”

“Gracie had a wonderful time. She was very, very well taken care of. I had pictures at least twice a day that made me feel that she was so safe. She seemed happy and having a very good time and very comfortable. I will not hesitate to use Susan again if I need Gracie to be watched, they’re very nice people. I feel that I have also made new friends for life.”

“Tanya was incredible during our dogs stay with her. She eased every concern we had and sent constant updates. Most importantly, Max seemed very comfortable and happy to stay with her. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

“Laurianne and Sven were amazing! They sent updates and pictures each day and I felt like my pup was in good hands the whole time. Will definitely be using them again on future trips!”

“Hannah's care to my dog was wonderful, the photo she sent to me daily really assured me that Ling-Ling was at a sweet home away from home, that gave me a great relieve to be able to enjoy my vacation as I knew Ling-Ling was enjoying her great vacation with Hannah and her 7 years old daughter. I will book with Hannah whenever I need to if no conflict with her schedule. It's a great feeling that I will not feel anxious to plan vacation at the future anymore because I found Hannah.”

“Such a wonderful host, so caring and considerate, always sending pictures and videos of our dogs with her children, and extremely accommodating of scheduling issues. Will definitely book again, such a kind host family.”

About: I have a degree in veterinary assistant, and I also ran my own dog-walking business for 10 years before 2020 hit. After 2020, I started taking my clients' dogs into my house when they went on vacation. I have loved animals my whole life. I do have a Bird that is 15 years old. I have two boys, ages 5 and 9. My oldest son has autism and loves every dog that comes into our house. My youngest loves to spoil the dogs that come to the house. I only take one dog family at a time, so you know that your dog will be taken good care of and have all the love. I am a stay-at-home mom. I am home all the time. I take the kids to school and pick them up. I will be with them the Whole time they are here. I go for walks with the dogs three times a day, sometimes more if they need to go outside. I do live in a house with a basement, so they have free roam of the house. They have plenty of room to roam around.

“Our normal dogsitter had a last-minute emergency and had to cancel on us, and we were very lucky that Svetlana could accommodate us on just a day or two's worth of notice. She was very flexible and able to help us out with an early drop off and a late pick up. She helped make all the hassles go away. Zangar had a good stay with Svetlana and Alejandro. She got a nice big bone on her first day to help her get comfortable in the new apartment, and she came back extremely tired from all the play sessions she got. We got daily picture updates of Zangar romping around the yard and chewing her bone. Svetlana was super understanding of Zangar's limited experience with cats and made extra sure there was no craziness between her and Rocky. They also made sure she became fast friends with the other dogs there. Definitely recommended!”
“We can tell our pup had a great time staying with Merrick! He was very communicative, sent pictures every day, and we could tell, cared very much about the comfort of our pooch. We definitely would book again and highly recommend”
