I have weekday availability and a lot more flexibility on weekends. I plan my bookings so I have enough time for each dog’s walk or visit and can give them my full attention without rushing. I start by learning your dog’s routine and anything that makes them nervous or uncomfortable. On walks, I keep dogs securely leashed, watch for traffic, weather, and other dogs, and pay attention to how your dog is doing. If they seem uneasy, I slow down, give them space, or change our route rather than push them. In your home, I follow your instructions for feeding, fresh water, playtime, and cleanup, and respect your space. I’ll also keep you updated on how the walk or visit went.
About: I've always had dogs my whole life. Friends and family can always rely on me to take care of their pets or check in on their pets whenever they are out of town or busy at work. I will feed, walk, and play for however much time is needed. I currently work early mornings but there is someone always at the house to feed, play and keep your furry friends company! My whole day after work is completely open so I can't wait to take care of them. Huge fenced yard as well as a my own pet to play with your furry friend if needed. Plenty of toys to keep them occupied as well as plenty of treats to spoil them.

About: I live in Edison Park, but work in McCook/Chicago during the day/week or sometimes from home. I manage my time really well, so I can make anything early in the morning,/on my lunch break work- plus weekends or after work. I have always had dogs my entire life. I grew up with a chocolate lab mix, then when she passed away my family got a three legged black lab and a chesapeake bay retriever. Then, when I was in college, a chocolate lab climbed into my car and after months of trying to find his owners, I decided to keep him. Those puppies have since passed, but our family has 2 giant black labs currently. I’ve also had 4 Guinea Pigs who I loved dearly. I currently work from home part of the time and love four legged angels (sometimes 3, I had a 3 legged dog growing up). I am available in the early mornings, evenings and on the weekends consistently, but can work out weekday daytime availability with advanced notice. I make sure the animals all have the appropriate food/water setups at all times (per owners instructions depending on pet’s specific needs), as well as making sure the temperature is comfortable for the pet. I prioritize exercise and bathroom breaks for each pet. There is never a lack of social interaction when I am around. Pretty much, I view pets as family and think they deserve the best. If they have specific requirements, I will always follow whatever rules the owner requests and talk through any concerns before booking.

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals since I was young and continue to care for my senior cat whom I’ve had for the last 12 years. I have experience walking dogs ranging from small to large sizes, and live near a forest preserve trail that would be perfect for their walks! Friends and neighbors have also relied on me to do drop-in feedings as well. I work full-time, 4 days a week, evening shift. So I am available most mornings and have a pretty flexible 3-day weekend schedule. I live in a building complex that has a fenced in little dog park for your pup to run around in. I’m also near a forest preserve trail if they prefer longer walks to explore nature. Cats will have a safe, quiet space to stay with a large window to sun bathe in the mornings and cozy blankets to snuggle in.

About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a large part of who I am. I currently have 4 dogs and 4 cats all of different breeds, sizes, and personalities therefore I am comfortable caring for pets with a variety of needs. I have experience giving medication, following feeding schedules, and making sure each pet gets the attention and care they deserve. I also enjoy spending time outside and going for walks. I’m currently a full time pre-nursing student and work PRN as a switchboard operator at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including drop in visits, walks, overnight stays, and some last-minute bookings whenever possible. My school schedule is subject to change and being PRN shifts could pop up here and there but I am very flexible and willing to work around what ever possibly comes up. In the aspect of my school schedule I have classes mon/tue/thur/fri. Monday and Friday 11am-12:30pm, Tuesday 9:30am-2:20pm and Thursday 8am-2:20pm. Safety and comfort are a priority to me. Each animal has their own personalities and day to day activities. I would like to know what your pet likes, whether it be extra playing time, going for walks, or even extra attention to make sure they feel the most comfortable at home. I am also comfortable crating a dog if it is needed.

I have experience with puppy training and sneaking meds to get your pets the vitamins or medication that they need. About: You are working late for the peak season or you may need to travel for several days. You are worrying about your furry friend at home who has been indoor and alone all day long. Worrying about if they eat or drink or pooped yet. Worrying about if they run out of home or not. This is something I'd worry about my cats and dogs when I'm out for work. Every day I would spend some time with my pets to play, train, and talk with them. The more I communicate with pets, the more they'd understand me, including my orders and requests. I'd do the same with your dog as well! Talk with your dog, understand he/she's feeling. This would really help to build a relationship with your pet! If they like jogging or fetching, we can definitely do more on that! Keep every dog in a healthy shape, lose weight and gain more muscle. Or if they prefer to get some belly rubs or do some training, that would be my pleasure to serve as well~ I will bring a water bottle with filtered water (if your dog only drinks with the bottle he/she familiar with, it would be great if you would share it with me during the walk) After each exercise, I will make sure to keep your dog hydrated, and give some treats for awards. I will also take some videos and photos for you to see how he/she is doing! Tell me more about your dog, let me know what he/she likes/don't likes to do. Let me know him/her ahead of time would help me to do my job.
