“Janette and Charles were great! We’ll definitely need their help in the future, our pup who’s usually very selective, love their company while we were gone.”

“Katy and her twins put my mind at ease. I have 4 cats. They graciously fed them, filled their water, cleaned litter boxes, vacuumed the litter room, and cleaned up other messes. I was so pleased with her kids and how they doted on my fur babies! Great sitter, great family. Highly recommend.”

“Elva is wonderful! She updated me on every visit with pictures and spent time with Lola and Scout .Lola definitely got extra belly rubs from Elva. I will definitely hire her again and recommend her to anyone looking for an attentive pet sitter!”

About: I have absolutely loved all animals from an extremely young age. I grew up with two large dogs (newfoundlands), and I also had a number of small animals growing up. I have had two guinea pigs, a hamster, and now, a cat! I love caring for all types of animals, but my passion especially lies with cats and dogs. I have experience caring overnight for my family friends' dogs, who are both wild and fun golden doodles. I also have cared for my friends 2 cats for two months while he did rotations! I currently own my own cat named Pepe, and I have 2 family dogs back home in Indiana. Both of my dogs at home have medical issues, and both take medications and have special needs. I have watched these dogs while my family was away for two weeks, and on numerous other occasions. I also have experience working with elderly dogs, as my late Newfoundland Lucy was 15 years old when she passed away. I am excited to work with you, and I can't to meet your furry friends! I am a full time PA student that lives in the Skokie area, so I am at school a fair amount- usually from around 9am-3pm Monday-Friday (this varies quite a bit depending on faculty schedules). Often we have gaps in scheduling, and when I am not at school, I am studying, working out, or hanging out with my cat. I carve time to play and enrich my own cat each day, and I certainly have time to enrich your pets as well! My two dogs are crate trained at home, but they normally have free reign over the house when no one is home. I am completely comfortable crating your pets, if that is what you need, by the time I leave your house.
“Ann is an amazing sitter! She’s cared for my pups on several occasions while I am out of town, each a very positive experience. Very dependable, responsive, and communication was great. I returned home to everything in perfect order and two very happy pups. I would absolutely recommend Ann to friends and continue booking with her in the future.”

“Nicholas did a great job looking after my cat. She was always very shy and he would make sure to find where she was which would sometimes take a bit longer as she found new hiding spots. He completed all tasks that I asked of him. He was always on time and very professional.”

“Jessica is wonderful with our puppy! She’s thoughtful of her needs and also of what’s best for keeping the yard and house in shape :) We are lucky to have her!”

“Mary is always reliable and great with our animals. She communicates well and takes good care of them when we are gone. She also listens to what we ask her to do with them including meds for our elderly cat.”

About: I have a deep love for dogs, particularly the older ones. I’m patient and attentive, so I tend to get along well with seniors who might need a slower pace. I pay close attention to what each dog needs to feel comfortable and safe. I treat every pup like my own and really enjoy making sure they have a calm, happy environment. At the moment, I am home most of the time so my schedule is very open. This makes it easy for me to focus on a dog's specific needs like walks, feeding times, and medication. I can easily adjust my daily routine to make sure your pup is comfortable and has company throughout the day. I always treat a client’s home with the same respect I’d want someone to have in mine: clean, quiet, and mindful. When I’m in their space, I try to keep things as calm and familiar as possible for the pet. I stick closely to their usual routine, whether that’s feeding times, walks, medications, or just how they like to relax. I move slowly, especially with older or anxious dogs, and I pay close attention to their comfort. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, cared for, and never alone.
About: I've had dogs of all sorts growing up - from small to giant breed dogs, from labradors to livestock guardians intent on guarding their house from every falling leaf. I've fostered dogs, successfully, and I am now caring for the foster fail permanently. From walks to games to basic care, taking care of dogs is my passion. I work from home with flexible hours, enabling me to accomadte your schedule, whether it's walks while you're away or busy grinding through your daily routine. I'm available any day of the week. I have a fenced yard, and two dogs at home. My pets generally get two walks a day and can play or sit outside enjoying the weather, especially the snow.
About: Hello, my name is Hannah. I am a part time art instructor and online Art Therapy student. I prioritize attentiveness and timeliness in my teaching as well as dog walking and sitting. I love all animals, have dog walked locally on and off since I was in middle school, and have had a dog of my own for 10 years. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. I am an active person and look forward to taking your pet on frequent walks, or even runs! I’m currently working part-time and attending online school, so I have a lot of availability for overnight dog sitting, as well as many walks and drop-ins throughout the day. Besides a few mid-day classes and teaching the occasional night class, my schedule allows me to be very flexible. I treat all pets the way I would want my own dog, Sailor, to be treated. Your pets safety and happiness are my top priorities! I aim to create a stress free experience for you, and a fun experience for your pet.

About: While I’ve never had pets of my own, I have hands-on experience dog walking for a family I babysat for. I learned how to handle different energy levels, keep pets safe on walks, and follow specific routines the owners preferred. I’m dependable, attentive, and always make sure pets feel comfortable and well-cared for. As a college student and athlete, my schedule has regular breaks throughout the day, which makes pet care a great fit for me. I’m able to stop by consistently, whether it’s for walks, check-ins, or playtime. Spending time with pets is something I genuinely enjoy, and it gives me a chance to unwind while making sure your pets feel cared for and comfortable. As an athlete, I’m always happy to take pets on long or short walks, and even relaxed jogs if they enjoy running. I’m patient, attentive, and make sure to follow any routines or instructions you provide. I also have a strong interest in medicine, which has taught me to be detail-oriented and calm in any situation. While I’m not pursuing veterinary medicine, I truly care about the well-being of all living beings and strive to keep your pets safe, comfortable, and happy in their environment.

“Liz is incredible! She took care of our older anxious cat who does not often love new people. Our bb was so happy when we got home, I can tell Liz went above and beyond. She was super communicative and helpful and we will definitely be contacting her again!!!”

Niles pet parents share their Rover experiences
We had Nicholas care for our dog and four cats while we were away, including administering medication twice daily for one of our cats. Overall, he was reliable and made sure everyone was fed, cared for, and safe. We appreciated the photos and updates during visits. Our dog did get spooked during one walk due to a loud car and had a harder time going out after that, so more backyard time was used. There was an accident during one of the visits, which he handled and cleaned up, and we appreciated that. Overall, we’re grateful our pets were well cared for and would book again.

Thanks for all your love and help with timo during my vacations. For anyone that is thinking in someone to trust to be at your home when you are not Jamie is the person, she keep the keys of my home for a month and she is super responsible and take care of my dog with so much love, always make sure he is happy , safe and give me all the updates needed.

Helen was awesome! Our cat is very anxious and requires a transdermal medicine and Helen was able to handle our cat really well. She was able to give proactive updates about her. She was thorough in understanding our cat's needs. We will be booking with her again for sure!
Paige is amazing! She’s so friendly & is such a reliable and responsive dog sitter. We could always count on her and she was so flexible when our schedule would change last minute. Was a huge relief knowing she was there to take care of our 2 year old mini bernedoodle & give her love and cuddles. Would highly recommend!!
