About: I remember the day when my family welcomed our first dog, a German Shepherd puppy and I was 4 years old. I have grown up around dogs and currently have one! I feel comfortable with all breeds and size of dog. I have been around the shy and nervous dog to the energetic out-going dog (my current dog is a mix of both)! I can feed, walk, provide medications and be a friendly, calm and loving presence for your dog. I am a stay at home mom with three children, one dog and two cats. My family and I love dogs and cats and prioritize the care of pets in our daily routine. Pets will get two walks a day and additional time in our yard throughout the day. Breakfast & dinner is home made for our pets but we accommodate all diets for the dogs we are sitting. I have a fenced in yard which provides my dogs plenty of room to run around. My family and I are home most of the day so each dog will receive plenty of attention including walks, potty breaks, meals and treats. I am comfortable administering medication. I also make my pet food from scratch.

15. Paige H.

“Paige was above and beyond fantastic!!! She helped us out in a pinch when we had to change plans due to going into labor early. We could tell our dogs loved Paige. She sent photos each time, kept us updated and was fantastic all around!”

About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is that I truly love what I do. I’m an active person who enjoys daily walks, so I not only get to stay fit, but I also make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise and attention. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll or an energetic run, I’ll tailor each walk to suit your pup’s needs while ensuring they’re happy, safe, and well-cared for. My passion for animals combined with my active lifestyle means your dog gets the best of both worlds! Pet care is a big part of my routine, especially since I have a dog who I spend all my time with when I’m not at college. Whenever I come home for the weekend, I make sure to dedicate as much time as possible to hanging out with him. I love taking him on walks and playing with him in my backyard. When caring for pet, I always treat them as if they were human. I believe in creating a calm, positive environment where they feel safe and valued. With new pets, I’m especially patient, knowing they might be hesitant to get to know me at first. I give them space and let them approach me on their own terms. Once they start to trust me, our bond grows, and they seem more relaxed and comfortable. I also make sure to take my dog on walks regularly and I allow him to sniff around. It’s important to me to respect their need for curiosity and give them time to enjoy their surroundings.

17. Ann M.
About: Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always loved dogs. With my brother being allergic, I can’t have one in my house. I’ve always loved going to friends and other family members homes to play with their furry loved ones. I love to walk dogs, having a steady walking gig for about three years. Looking for walking, potty break check-ins, or dog-sitting opportunities! I’m available most evenings of the week, and 1-2 week days. My schedule is flexible, so as long as I have a few days notice I can accommodate pretty much any week day for mid-day walks if you’re working. Any evening walks should be good! I don’t have any dogs of my own but I will gladly accommodate to your regularly routine for your dog so they feel comfortable! I love taking dogs to the park, playing with them in a backyard, or anything outdoorsy!

“Sainyane is an excellent pet sitter. I myself have two cats and three dogs which we had her sit for while we were away on vacation. She was kind and caring towards our pets and went beyond what was asked of her.”

About: I have over 9 years of experience as a dedicated pet owner. I've successfully managed a multi-pet household with both cats and dogs, understanding the unique needs and personalities of each individual. For the past 4 years, I have cared for family and friends pets with overnight stay and evening play-dates with my pets. My experience includes: Feeding, grooming, administering medications, and providing fresh water. I've successfully trained multiple puppies using positive reinforcement methods, focusing on basic obedience, socialization, and leash walking. Litter care: I have experience assisting with the care of pregnant dogs and their litters, including monitoring the mother's health, assisting with whelping, and ensuring the proper care and development of the puppies. I understand the dynamics of a multi-pet household and can effectively manage interactions between different species, ensuring a harmonious and safe environment for all. I am adept at observing animal behavior, identifying potential issues, and implementing appropriate solutions, such as addressing separation anxiety or destructive behaviors. Feel free to inquire on experience for special circumstances or special pet needs. I am able to give most attention Friday-Monday and provide more frequent bathroom breaks to pets (dogs). Tuesday-Thursday I have a more limited schedule and can only dedicate time early morning (6-830AM) and evening (after 4PM). Feedings and bathroom break must happen during those timeframes. I am open to caring for multiple pets from same household, but not from different households. I have a fenced yard and a friendly female Labrador that lives with me part-time. My partner and I have separate households and we share her care and quality time. My pet may not be in the home, but when she is present she does well with other dogs and is crate trained.
