Without animals, life wouldn't be as fun, would it? Growing up with a Shih Tzu, Guinea Pigs, Dwarf Hamsters, fish and cats, my life has always been filled with that unconditional love that only an animal is capable of giving. My background in pet care includes volunteering with shelters like Adopt-A-Pet and Chicagoland Dog Rescue, as well as hands-on experience working as a care attendant and manager at Wee Little Paws Inn, a doggy daycare in Deer Park. I’ve also managed small pet care companies, giving me a well-rounded understanding of both animal care and client service. In addition to the years of pet care experience, I have formal education in canine behavior and training through the Animal Behavior Institute. My approach is force-free, and rooted in modern behavioral science. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the most respected positive reinforcement trainers, behavior consultants, and veterinary professionals in the field. Whether you have a tiny Terrier or a Great Dane, I am happy to help with all your pet-care needs!

Ellie is an absolutely fantastic pet sitter. We trust her with our two medically‑complex cats, and she consistently goes above and beyond. On this visit, I accidentally forgot to mention one of their special food requirements — and Ellie caught it immediately and reached out for clarification before feeding them. That level of attention and responsibility is rare and so appreciated. She’s kind, communicative, proactive, and genuinely cares about the animals she’s looking after. Our cats adore her, and we feel completely at ease knowing she’s the one watching them. Highly recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter who treats your pets like her own.

Schedule
Caring for pets isn’t just a job for me, it’s my life! I spend most days leading training sessions, walking dogs, or providing in home pet care. My schedule is built around my clients’ pets, so their routines naturally become part of mine. I prioritize consistency, comfort, and clear communication and I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality.

- Before I care for your pet, I like to learn a bit about their routine, personality, and any special needs they may have. This includes things like feeding schedules, medical needs, how they do on walks, what commands they know, and any quirks or triggers to be mindful of. I also ask about home access, house rules, and anything else that will help your pet feel safe and comfortable while you're away. The more I know up front, the better I can tailor my care to fit your pet’s unique needs!
