About: I am a dog owner for the past 8 years and own two Setter pups. Friends have entrusted me with their dogs for petsitting and dog walking - in some occasions I would have as many as 4 dogs with me, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! As a dog parent I know how important is to have someone you trust with your baby, I will treat your dog as my own, making sure your dog is safe and happy! My work schedule varies week by week between office and home, which allows me some flexibility. When in the area, I am flexible to go on a walk with your pup to get some fresh air or do a drop in visit to spend some time with them. When I drop in to check on your pup or take on a walk, I will always follow your instructions closely and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. During walks, I will keep a close eye on them, always be on leash, and make sure they get the right amount of exercise based on their energy level. Afterward, provide a quick pupdate so you know your pup is happy and well taken care of.

About: I’ve taken care of every kind of dog since I was 15. Neighbors, friends, family have all relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their fur babies. I’m an animal lover who used to be a jr. Naturalist; I love all animals. I’m currently working a before school care program and an after school care program with the park district. I am available for walking pets starting at 9am-3pm (Monday- Friday) all year round. For pet setting it depends on the time and date. I live in a townhouse with a family friendly neighborhood; I don’t have a fenced in yard, however, I do have a park that we can let them ran around. Your pet won’t be lonely in our home we have a fur baby ourselves, Nigel (west highland terrier). I would look after your fur baby like my own, walks three to four times a day, fed as often as needed, play time, love and compassion. Your fur baby is apart your family and will be cared for that way.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and know how much love and responsibility they need. Back in middle school, I started my own dog walking business and cared for everything from big Bernese Mountain Dogs to little Shih Tzus. I’m patient, reliable, and love spending time with dogs—whether it’s going for a walk, playing fetch, or just giving them some extra attention. Right now I’m job hunting, so I’m free Monday through Thursday any time of the day. Once I do start working, I’ll still be available most evenings when needed! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or visiting them at yours, I make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I follow their regular routines for feeding, walks, or playtime, and I give them plenty of attention and affection. I keep their space clean and comfortable—whether it’s making sure dogs get bathroom breaks or keeping litter boxes tidy for cats. I also send updates or photos so owners know their pets are doing well. Every pet gets the care they need based on their personality and routine, and I treat them like they’re my own!

About: I am currently a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist working in acute care. (I work 7 - 5:30pm Monday- Thursday) in the Huntley area, but live in Arlington heights so I am flexible with locations. (For drop in visits or day care I am able to provide for those closer to my location. House stays I can work around being near my home or near my work) I will do my best but cannot make every request happen! I have always grown up with a dog in the house. I have had experience with a my family dog who was blind and deaf and required insulin for diabetes. I worked 5+ years at a Kennel for boarding and grooming in the summers. There I interacted, cleaned cages and yards, fed, did plays and walks. Dogs boarding at the kennel were of all breeds, sizes and ages. I also dog sit for friends, going to their house throughout the day to interact and feed dogs or staying in the home. Being in graduate school I enjoy the stress relief that dogs can provide and love being welcomed home by a wagging tail. I understand the patience it takes with some dogs and that each dog is unique. To care for a dog you must get to know who the dog is, likes and dislikes, and their routines. All dogs deserve attention, care and love! Since I cannot have a dog of my own at this time I get my dog fix by caring for dogs whenever I can! Pleases reach out and see what we can arrange ! I currently work full time: Monday to Thursdays (7am to 5:30pm-), I am willing to always do house sitting to stay with an animal. I will make sure I can commit and give an animal the proper amount of time before agreeing on the request. I also am willing to do walks and plays on my days off and when home from work. I cannot care for animals in my apartment at this time so I love staying at clients homes to get my time with furry companions. At a clients home I will make sure I ask and understand how to best control a dog when inside or outside (if gates are used, leashes, fences). I also want to make sure I know how the dog best interacts with new people and how they normally act so I can be aware if there is a change in their behavior that needs to be addressed or so I can tell if they are stressed with a change in their schedule. I like to best replicate their typical schedule and daily life to limit any stress

About: I’ve loved caring for animals since I was young. We recently moved and can’t host any pets in our home anymore but would love the opportunity to care for your beloved animal family member with walks and check ins. From our experience in boarding animals at our previous home, we have learned how to care for all sorts of special needs pets including injections, helping with mobility, and providing the genuine connection all forms of life require. My priorities in caring for animals are safety, communication with the owner, and connection with the pet. It’s truly the most rewarding responsibility and I treat every animal I’m entrusted with as though they are my family. I’m currently searching for a new career which leaves me with extra time for enriching opportunities. Caring for animals has been the most rewarding work I’ve experienced and I’m grateful for every animal I’ve been able to care for. While we aren’t able to host pets in our home, I’m a great dog walker who can match pace to any animal- from jogs to joyous sprints to patiently waiting while sniffs and scents are investigated.

About: I'm a mother of 2 small children, so I'm excellent at multi-tasking and thinking on my feet. I've taken care of my own dog for 10 years before having children, and understand the joy it brings dogs to go on walks and experience all the smells throughout the neighborhood. I also know that dogs are part of the family (my dog was like my baby), so I take this role very seriously. I work from home every day except Thursday, so I have more availability. Also available most weekends at some point during the days and evenings. I take great care to follow the family's instructions with feeding, walking, and playing. I have watched my brother-in-law's dog in my home and she thrived here while he was out of town.

I have over 20 years of veterinary experience so I can do extras. I love cats and dogs...I'm bipetsual!!!! And I can take care of fish! I do not care for pets in my home. I would love to accept all care in your home or as needed to provide exceptional care.
