We interviewed a few walkers on Rover, and Taylor was the one who stood out above the rest. She was much more clear and descriptive about her approach, her style of managing dogs, and her specific techniques. She is very organized, highly responsive, and I highly recommend her for your pets!

About: I have been around pets my whole life and know how to read their body language. I am respectful if they need space and let them warm up to me. My family had large dogs and cats growing up that I helped care for and train. I helped care for 3 litters of puppies and I trained the puppies we kept. I also had a cat who was spoiled with love and lots of playtime. I work at a school and don't work during the summer, so I am very flexible. During the school year my availability will be afternoons/evenings on weekdays. I love cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes. I will love your pet like my own! I truly enjoy taking care of cats and dogs and giving them lots of play and affection. I always respect their space if they are afraid, but I am skilled at earning their trust and helping them warm up to me.

About: Dogs and puppies have always been a passion of mine! Growing up, I've been raised with two German Shepherds, and I've taken on responsibilities such as training my dog as a puppy, providing medical aid, walking dogs, and everything else that goes into being responsible for your furry best friend! I'm currently not working, and so my schedule is rather flexible! I have availability for dog-sitting and walking starting from 9am to 9pm throughout the week, all day every day! I currently don't have any pets in my home, and so I will be able to give your pet my full attention. I don't have a fenced yard, however there is a lovely walking trail nearby (5 min walk) that's about 2 miles long that I'd be able to walk your pet on! I have experience with reactive dogs when it comes to strangers and other dogs, and so I know how to maneuver myself out of a reactive situation. I can also easily crate your dog, if needed!

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have had four dogs of my own, including two larger dogs that I helped train and care for. I’m experienced with walking, feeding, playing with, and giving lots of attention to dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’ve also dog sat before and truly enjoy being around animals. I’m very patient, responsible, and passionate about pet care because I plan to become a veterinarian in the future. I currently work part-time, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your dog. I’m available most days for walks and will always do my best to work with your schedule and your pet’s needs. I’m very patient, caring, and understanding with dogs because I know every pet has a different personality and comfort level. I believe in positive care and creating a safe, loving environment where dogs feel comfortable and happy. I also value communication with owners and will always treat your home and pets with the same respect and care I would want for my own.

Jazalyn walks our 3 dogs on a weekly basis. We have a very old dog with some mobility issues that needs medication and a puppy so it is complicated, a lot of work and we really have to feel confident and be able to trust someone. Jazalyn does a wonderful job and we feel very lucky to have found her.

About: I’m a dedicated and loving pet caregiver with hands-on experience caring for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and needs—including my own big reactive German Shepherd, who is truly the star of my life. Through daily care, training, and attention, I’ve developed a deep understanding of dog behavior, structure, and what makes pets feel safe, happy, and loved. I recently moved to the area, so I currently have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. This allows me to give pets the attention, consistency, and care they need. I can easily adapt to your pet’s routine and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, habits, and needs so they feel secure and cared for—whether in my home or yours, or a walk.

About: hello! my name is charlize i’m 22 i’ve grown up with animals my whole life and now i currently work at an animal hospital helping taking care of the dogs and cats that come in to see the vet. i’m very experienced with animals and taking care of animals and i love all different kinds of animals. i’ve worked at the animal hospital now for two and a half years and its been the most amazing two and a half years of my life. i am also going to school to practice becoming a veterinarian so i am really excited to meet all new furry friends for more experience. i am good with administering medication, i am good with dealing with aggressive dogs, i am good with any diabetic cat or dog with dosing insulin. you name it and i can do it!! i work part time hours at the animal hospital during the summer months and full time during fall and winter but i am extremely flexible, as i work on my terms and conditions. i am willing to fit last minute accommodation if it works with my personal schedule but i can also take time out of my day if needed to walk a dog etc. i unfortunately cannot have pets in my building but i am more than willing and able to go to anyone else’s beloved home to pet sit, or walk, or feed animals. i come in with a soft expression and wait for the animals to get used to me and my scent and then i wait for their approval to come further in their home/space. i am very careful to not touch them when they don’t want to be touched and i am always patient with animals especially if they’re new to my route.

Taylor has been excellent with my two dogs. Each dog is particular in their own way and requires a different approach. Taylor has been able to meet their individual needs to build trust. It has been a great comfort having someone that understands animals well provide afternoon walks these past few weeks. I highly recommend Taylor.

Arsh was great with Zaza! I could tell as soon as he walked in that he was kind and caring. Zaza took to him immediately. Because I live in a neighborhood with no sidewalks, so that dogs have to be walked on the street, I had a fairly long list of "rules" to follow in order to keep Zaza safe from vehicles (and actually having to think through these motivated me to up my own game). Also because of having to walk in the street, I asked him to wear several forms of LED lighting after dark. He immediately understood and each time he walked her, he made sure that all of these precautions were followed. He was on time for every walk and always very congenial. I absolutely would recommend Arsh as a dog walker.
