About: I grew up with dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals in-between! In the last 17 years, I've been a cat mom, and recently had a dog with my ex-partner (who I still care for when they're out of town). The only constant in my life has been animals, and I get such a joy out of playing with them, taking them on walks, cuddles, and seeing their personalities come out. I used to work at a pet store (back in the day), and in the last 5 years, actually helped stray dogs + cats in my neighborhood find incredible families. I know basic dog training (like sit, stay, break, etc), and I'm quick to learn whatever else you do with your dog or cat to make their time as normal as possible as you're away. I work from home during the week and can take care of walking, feeding, and socialization. I'm also a performing musician so I travel around the Chicago-land area frequently. I like to keep your pet's day as normal as possible. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be for pet parents and the pets when there's disruption in their routine, so I try to do everything as it normally is - feeding, walking, training, giving treats, etc.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in my 20s. I’ve also taken care of senior dogs, so I know how to handle their special care. I’m very experienced in feeding and grooming, and I love the companionship it brings to a family! About: I know life gets busy and you may need someone to stop in I would love to meet you and your fur babies. I’ve been pet sitting for puppies, older dogs, hedgehogs, rabbits, birds, cats, reptiles and Guinea pigs. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
