About: **PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING PET/HOUSE SITTING** I want to clarify that I do not typically provide traditional overnight house sitting. Instead, I specialize in drop-in care and can provide multiple visits throughout the day to keep your pets happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. For example, I may visit in the morning, again during the day, and then for a longer evening visit. This works especially well for pets who don't need someone staying overnight but still benefit from consistent attention, exercise, companionship, and care throughout the day. If you're looking for overnight house sitting, I may be open to discussing shorter stays (3 days or less) after a meet & greet, depending on the situation. If you're unsure which option is best for your pets, feel free to reach out! I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and genuinely enjoy caring for all kinds of animals. My experience includes dogs and cats, as well as small pets such as rabbits and other small mammals, reptiles, and horses. I also have hands-on equine experience, including equine bodywork, which has strengthened my ability to stay calm, observant, and responsive with animals of all sizes and temperaments. I follow routines closely—feeding schedules, medications, walks, litter care, habitat care, and all the little details that matter—and I adapt my approach to each animal's personality and needs. Whether your pet is social and energetic, shy and routine-driven, or simply prefers to do their own thing, I meet them where they are. You can expect clear communication and consistent updates while you're away, so you always know your pets are safe and well cared for. About: Hi! I’m Delaney and I hope to be your new pet sitter. I’ve been caring for cats, dogs, and other animals since I was young. I have volunteered at animal shelters, fostered kittens, and pet sat for friends/family. I have a disabled cat myself, so I’m used to providing specialized care. I grew up with pets that needed daily medication, so I feel confident in that skill as well. Looking forward to caring for your babies as if they were my own! About: At school I’m part of an rso that helps train service dogs so I do work with dogs weekly. I have never personally had a dog but I have grown up around them and I have also had lifetime experience taking care of cats so I know how to care for animals! I would help take care of my neighbors dog when they were out of town and I just love dogs in general!!! I just changed my major to be undeclared because I want to be a pre vet med student and get my doctorate in veterinary medicine. The middle of my day is usually pretty open and I’d always be open to taking a walk between classes! I do have some night classes but my weekends are usually wide open all day. I have 2 indoor cats back at home, my oldest cat just passed from old age he lived till he was 16 and I miss him lots but I make sure to keep a watchful eye on them for behavior changes.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals in-between! In the last 17 years, I've been a cat mom, and recently had a dog with my ex-partner (who I still care for when they're out of town). The only constant in my life has been animals, and I get such a joy out of playing with them, taking them on walks, cuddles, and seeing their personalities come out. I used to work at a pet store (back in the day), and in the last 5 years, actually helped stray dogs + cats in my neighborhood find incredible families. I work from home during the week and can take care of walking, feeding, and socialization. I'm also a performing musician so I travel around the Chicago-land area frequently. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be for pet parents and the pets when there's disruption in their routine, so I try to do everything as it normally is - feeding, walking, training, giving treats, etc.

About: I have watched dogs for friends and family since I was 12. I have cared for all sizes of dogs and own two dogs myself, one of which is a senior so I am familiar with special needs and instructions. I have been trusted to drop in, feed, let out, and walk dogs and have been trusted to stay overnight with them. I am familiar with special feeding instructions or any quirks that come with every individual dog :) While I am on summer break from school, this is the only job I have so I am frequently available to drop by. I am usually free any day of the week from mid morning until late at night. As long as I am aware ahead of time I will most likely make it fit into my schedule! I will not be offering to care for pets in my own home because one of my dogs has some trust issues with other animals.

For owners who allow their dogs to visit Lakewood Dog Park’s expansive exercise area, I monitor those dogs while they run and play off leash under my constant supervision. While indoors, I follow the rules that my pet owners prefer whether it be cuddling on furniture and slumbering in bed with me or crating them within their cozy caves with their favorite snuggle toy. I do everything I can to mirror the eating, playing, and napping comfort with the same positive experiences your pet receives in your living home while throwing in a little extra spoiling 🐶❤️🐶
