About: Hi I’m Janie!! I'm 19 & I absolutely love animals. For years I’ve been trusted by friends, family, and neighbors to care for their pets—whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays—and I love giving each dog the attention they deserve. I make sure every furry friend feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away! I work 2 part-time jobs, typically in the evening 5-6 days a week. Even with my schedule, I have plenty of free time and am happy to work with you to make sure your pets get all the love and attention they deserve!! I love keeping dogs happy and comfortable by sticking to their usual routines. On walks, I make sure they’re safe and have a fun time. About: I love dogs of all shapes and sizes! I had two labs growing up and another lab in my early twenties who I still grieve for today. I currently have no dogs of my own so I pour all my love into my friend’s dogs. The dog I had my twenties had behavioral issues and required patience and understanding in a short amount of time he went from being withdrawn and antisocial to a complete love bug! I’m unemployed but I take care of my disabled mom. Because of this I have a very flexible schedule. I have always loved dogs and miss having one of my own. I’m always excited to spend time with my friend’s dogs. I don’t plan on boarding any dogs at my own home. With how my mom’s health is now it wouldn’t be a good idea to do so.

About: I’ve helped raise 5 different dogs since my childhood, caring for them from their challenging puppy stage into their senior years and every sweet moment between. About: I have been around pets my whole life and know how to read their body language. I am respectful if they need space and let them warm up to me. My family had large dogs and cats growing up that I helped care for and train. I helped care for 3 litters of puppies and I trained the puppies we kept. I also had a cat who was spoiled with love and lots of playtime. I work at a school and don't work during the summer, so I am very flexible. During the school year my availability will be afternoons/evenings on weekdays. I love cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes. I will love your pet like my own! About: I have taken care of dogs, along with several different exotic animals including reptiles, fresh and saltwater aquariums for over 15years. Friends and family have relied on me to watch their animals when needed. I work as a clinician for Northwestern Medicine and wanting to earn some extra cash in my downtime to help may down those pesky student loans. With taking care of your pet in your home, I maintain the same (or similar) schedule as you would normally have them on. I also make sure to keep an eye out for any odd behavior that might signal sickness or pain and communicate that to the pet parent and even take the animal to the vet if requested.
