About: I’ve been caring for, training, and owning dogs nearly my whole life starting from childhood to now fostering/watching for friends and family. I’ve also had experience working professionally as a pet sitter. Whether your pup is large or small I’ll care for them as if they were my own and bring all the playful energy as a young adult to provide a fun experience during my time with them. I currently work remotely and have increased flexibility for scheduling needs. Although I will need to primarily be at home during my working hours I am able to ensure your pets are taken care of in a timely fashion without being left for too long without potty breaks. Your boundaries for your animals whether they be rules or practices in your personal home will be closely followed and respected. I bring my years of pet experience to ensure their safety is my top priority when staying with them overnight or providing daily care along with giving them the company they’ll need while you are away.
About: I don’t just care for dogs, I give them a fun, loving, and (overly) attentive experience. I talk to pups like they’re people, play with them on their terms, and genuinely care for each one as if they were my own. With years of experience caring for cats, dogs, and even rats, I truly understand different personalities and needs. Reliable, responsible, and full of playful energy, I make sure your furry friends are happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I work 3:45 PM – 10 PM Friday through Tuesday at my barista job, so I’m available all other times for walks, playtime, or visits. I’m not a “guesser”, I’ll always ask you a question if I’m unsure of how you’d care for your pet in a certain situation. I enjoy keeping pet parents updated with photos or messages throughout the day, so you can be confident your furry friends are happy, safe, and well cared for. My flexible schedule allows me to adapt to each pet’s routine and make sure they feel loved and comfortable while you’re away.
“Megan has been wonderful!! We just adopted our new puppy and she has been great with walking him everyday for us. She sends daily reports and we love seeing the pictures she takes. Always so responsive and takes exceptional care of our new family member. We would highly recommend her to anyone in the area that is looking for someone to care for your dog just as you would.”

“Brian did an outstanding job taking care of our “family member” Gage. He was able to follow all the directions (believe me they are pretty complicated) we had provided and did not miss a beat. Great communication as well. Will definitely use Brian again.”

About: I love dogs of all shapes and sizes! I had two labs growing up and another lab in my early twenties who I still grieve for today. I currently have no dogs of my own so I pour all my love into my friend’s dogs. The dog I had my twenties had behavioral issues and required patience and understanding in a short amount of time he went from being withdrawn and antisocial to a complete love bug! I’m unemployed but I take care of my disabled mom. Because of this I have a very flexible schedule. I have always loved dogs and miss having one of my own. I’m always excited to spend time with my friend’s dogs. I don’t plan on boarding any dogs at my own home. With how my mom’s health is now it wouldn’t be a good idea to do so.
About: I’m known to host pups while my friends are out for the evening or for the weekend. I enjoy spending quality time with dogs whether it be lounging or going for a walk! I’m currently working from home and love having a furry companion during my daily walks. I love cuddling up with a dog and watching reality tv on weeknights. The community I live in has a dog park and trails nearby to provide pups with plenty of movement, sunlight, and quality time in and outside the home.
About: I have a half acre of fenced in yard for dogs to run and play. I’ve had pets in my family my whole life: always dogs, a few cats over the years, a house rabbit, hamsters, ducks, fish, lizards, turtles - so many lovely creatures! I’ve worked with rescues and shelters and have taken care of elderly dogs at the end of their lifespan administering medications orally, injections, and topically. For my other job I do freelance graphic design from home and make my own schedule, so I’m very flexible with my schedule. When pet sitting at my home your pet will have my company throughout the day. I offer check ins, feeding, walking, playing, cleaning up after all pets and livestock at their home. I board dogs and caged pets overnight or for multiple days at my home where dogs have access to a fenced yard at any time of the day, full time supervision, and cozy accommodations.
“Ally came to my rescue! I am down with the flu and no way I could walk Gavin, and he needs his walk every day. She came last minute yesterday and again today, Gavin looked forward to seeing Ally today again😊. Thanks, Ally!!”

About: I grew up with animals starting out with hamsters and guinea pigs. Currently have a small Bichon Frise dog who always needs love and attention. I love going on walks, especially with a companion:) I am currently a college student taking online classes Monday through Thursday, however, I can be flexible with my schedule so don’t hesitate to reach out to take care of your pets:) I can always make time to help out <3 For my own dog I always make sure she has food and water at all times. Letting her outside whenever she wants in order to get some fresh air and then going on walks with her twice a day is part of our routine. She is not one to play, but still loves being silly and having the zoomies. In those energetic moments I always join her. Then at the end of the day everyone deserves a treat and so does she:)
About: I have loved dogs as long as I can remember. I grew up with Labrador Retrievers and have helped watch dogs of different breeds for family and friends. I am used to the begging, barking, couch potatoes, and more! I’m a nurse so I only work three days a week and get the other four off. There are times where I have a week off at a time. I would love nothing more but to fill some of those off days with furry friends. I currently don’t have any other animals with me so your dog(s) would be the only one. I live in a ranch with no stairs. It is easily accessible for all dogs. I also do not have a fenced in yard but live on about a half acre. I have a great neighborhood for long walks to get energy out!
About: Individual approach - I take into account the needs of each pet, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Responsible and attentive to details - I carefully monitor the diet, walks and general condition of the pet. Love and care - sincere love and care for animals makes my care heartfelt and warm. I work from home. My flexible work schedule allows me to schedule walks and feedings at a convenient time. Pets can feel safe and receive attention when they need it. Animals are not left alone for long periods of time and do not experience anxiety or stress. I have a fenced yard - this makes caring for your pets easier and more comfortable, creating a safe and enjoyable environment for them to enjoy active recreation
Port Barrington dog parents share their Rover experiences
Brian has been a life saver for us! We had a complicated family emergency and Brian has been an invaluable and professional asset during this period. Brian has been such a great friend to Charlie, our dog. Charlie is so very excited when Brian comes, and since he's a big dog, we've really appreciative how well he responds to Brian. Brian has also been 100 percent reliable, extremely communicative, and very flexible. He has even helped my elderly mother bring in packages and other things that have become difficult for her. He's just a good human being! Brian is great with dogs and also with people. We so appreciate his help over the past several months.
