About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and am the go-to sitter in my family—often caring for multiple dogs of all ages over the holidays. I also have extensive experience administering daily medications, especially pills. I work as a golf caddy which allows me to set my own hours, but also is really only an option on weekends. I’m very free on weekdays during the summer! When caring for pets in your home, I make it a priority to maintain their routine exactly as you would—because I know how much consistency matters. I value keeping things familiar and stress-free, creating a safe, clean environment filled with love and attention. If pets stay in my home, they’ll receive the same thoughtful care in a calm, pet-friendly space.

About: I have been taking care of all kinds of animals for the past few years now. Starting with my own puppy at 8 weeks old to pet sitting 15 year old dogs. And all ages in between. I have also pet sit cats of all ages before. When I come home from college during my breaks my schedule is completely open so I have plenty of time to walk, play and care for your animals! I spoil my pets at home so they get lots of love and attention. Many walks outside as well as playing fetch! At clients homes I try to spend quality time with animal making sure they are comfortable and have everything they need before I leave.

“Katie has a very calm demeanor and Jagger was happy to go to her when he met her at the meet and greet. She set a ton of pics and videos from their walk and Jagger was very happy to be out of the Loft and getting some fresh air with her! Her help is very appreciated and gives Jagger the midday breaks he needs!”

“Dayna was wonderful with our 2 pets! She sent great photos and was very caring! I know Belle and Buddy were in trustworthy hands! Thank you so much Dayna!!”

“Becca was amazing with our two dogs! She was so reliable and would recommend her anytime!”

“Megan is a great dog walker! I felt so comfortable knowing she was there to walk my dogs when I had to work a long day. She took great care of them while I was away.”

“Ally came to my rescue! I am down with the flu and no way I could walk Gavin, and he needs his walk every day. She came last minute yesterday and again today, Gavin looked forward to seeing Ally today again😊. Thanks, Ally!!”

About: I am a retired high school educator, artist, outdoor enthusiast, and animal lover. I am a five-star walker and a very reliable and compassionate caregiver for your pet. I often feel we are kindred spirits and I am totally intrigued by their individual personalities. I have cared for dogs both personally or professionally for most of my life and willingly care for your pet and their individual needs. Whether it be exploring adventure, padding the neighborhood (walking or running), gifting belly rubs, or providing hydration & nutrition, your pet’s needs will be personalized while in my care with much love and affection. In the future, I hope to rehabilitate dogs and work with their family members to provide a safe space filled with discipline, affection, and a true sense of belonging. You can depend on me and trust that your pet will feel cherished and loved while in my care. Since retiring from teaching, my hours of 1:1 attention have expanded. I am now available to give full weekday hours to your pet in addition to my time during weekends. While caring for pets in parks and neighborhoods, I keep them on a leash during all walks and runs. If we are lounging in the yard I provide the dog an opportunity to relax on a lead while I am outdoors with them. For owners who allow their dogs to visit Lakewood Dog Park’s expansive exercise area, I monitor those dogs while they run and play off leash under my constant supervision. While indoors, I follow the rules that my pet owners prefer whether it be cuddling on furniture and slumbering in bed with me or crating them within their cozy caves with their favorite snuggle toy. I do everything I can to mirror the eating, playing, and napping comfort with the same positive experiences your pet receives in your living home while throwing in a little extra spoiling 🐶❤️🐶

About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my combination of patience, structure, and attentiveness—skills I have honed through years of teaching, research, and leadership. I’ve cared for energetic puppies and older dogs with medical or mobility needs, and I understand how to tailor routines to fit each pet’s behavior and temperament! My background in engineering has made me exceptionally detail oriented—whether it’s sticking to feeding schedules, properly providing medication, or carefully monitoring behavior changes. Most importantly, I absolutely love spending time with animals!! I am sure to treat every pet like they are my very own, giving lots of affection and respect (and of course, belly rubs :)). I am currently living at home while applying to full time engineering jobs, so I have lots of free time to entertain and take care of your pup! I love being outdoors and have a large yard, so would love to spend time playing outside if you have a particularly energetic dog, but am also willing to provide any care necessary in terms of particular feeding times or specific medications, or even just relax with an older dog who needs consistent supervision. In my home, I create a calm, safe, and structured environment tailored to a pet’s needs. I follow the pet’s routine closely and make sure they have a clean, cozy space where they can feel at ease. I avoid overwhelming stimulation and provide lots of love and attention! In a client’s home, I treat their space with the same care and respect I give to my own. I stick closely to the instructions provided and observe the pet’s behavior for any signs of stress, discomfort, or healthy changes. Whether I am walking, feeding, cleaning up, or just spending time with a client’s pet, I am to keep everything consistent with their normal routine to reduce anxiety and keep them happy and healthy! No matter where I am caring for a pet, my highest priority is their comfort, safety, and well-being

About: I love all animals, I will treat your dog as if they were my own. I will play with them, make sure they are well fed, and have clean drinking water. I will take them on long walks to assure they get plenty of exercise. I have grown up with pets all my life (dogs and cats) So if you have a cat I can feed them and play with them as well. I have handled dogs of all sizes, and I am very passionate about the well being of animals. It is my goal to one day work with animals in a shelter to ensure they find loving homes, and get the attention they deserve. I am really excited to hopefully start walking some dogs!! I am a free lance employee at the moment. I build my own schedule and I have a good amount of free time, so I’m pretty flexible. I can care for pets in clients home. I can follow their detailed instructions on when and where to walk dogs, how much to feed them and at what time, etc.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds — playful pups, mellow seniors, and everything in between. My experience started with helping my sister care for her dogs, and over the years, I’ve walked, fed, and looked after dogs for friends, neighbors, and family. I’m patient, gentle, and attentive to each dog’s personality and needs. I have a quiet home and a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely explore, relax, and enjoy the fresh air. With me, your dog will be loved, understood, and truly cared for — just like they deserve. I mostly work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pup throughout the day. I’m available for daytime check-ins, boarding, and doggy stays at my place. I can also pick up and drop off your dog if needed — making things easier for you. Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or a cozy place to stay while you’re away, I’m here and happy to help. I offer a calm and loving environment with a fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and relax. I’m attentive to each dog’s personality and routine, whether they need space or lots of cuddles. I can easily crate your dog if that’s part of their routine. My goal is always to make your dog feel secure, understood, and cared for — just like they would at home.

About: I have taken care of my friends' dogs for a while. I love playing with them with full attention, and absolutely love going on walks. I am working part-time, so it fits well into my mornings. I usually have access to a car to visit your furry friend again.

About: Aside from owning a Boxer in my childhood, I’ve had many experiences of pet sitting for friends and family. This includes overnight stays for up to 2 weeks, feeding, walking, giving medicine, and overall just spending time with the animals. I am a college student spending my summer in IL. As I am in my junior year, I am currently a part of an internship program (remote & flexible hours). I am also taking courses online throughout July and early August. I would not be able to take care of pets in my home, but I am more then aware of any rules that take place in the home regarding the pets. As long as there is a message regarding anything needed, I will follow the guidelines (such as medicine, scheduled feeding, etc.)

Michele Z.
“I would highly recommend Michele Zimmerman as a dog sitter. She's on of the most responsible, diligent, caring individuals I know. I've known Michele for 25 years and during this time I've used her to stay with my pets while on vacation and also as a dog walker. I've always felt comfortable with her being in my home and taking wonderful care of my pets who are a loving part of my family!!”

Brittany R.
“Brittany is super devoted and caring. She has a dog named Poppy who gets unmatched attention at home. A couple examples for you: she had custom shirts made for her whole family with Poppy’s face on them, and she has a life size, realistic version of Poppy as a pillow. That same level of affection and dedication shines through in how she cares for all animals. Brittany is incredibly responsible, attentive, and kind, and would make an invaluable caretaker.”

Heather H.
“I had Heather pet sit for me a few times...my animals 2 dogs and one cat loved her...she was so good with them..she was on time every day that I hired her too walk my 2 dogs..she spend time with them and always brought water for my dogs on their walks...I will be happy too have her come back too pet sit for me...she is very freindly and she is great with Animals”

Anastasiia K.
“Ana has looked after my cat, Dumpling, multiple times — both for quick drop-ins and longer stays — and every time has been wonderful. She’s incredibly responsible, caring, and genuinely loves animals. I always come back to a happy, snuggly, well-cared-for kitty. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind and trustworthy!”

Bryn L.
“I have known Bryn for quite a few years now. In the time that I have known her, I have seen her handle dogs very well, whether it be the two that I have or her own. When her dog would have to go out, she would always be the first one up to open the door, and would always be considerate of the food and water bowls to make sure they were full. On multiple occasions, we would take the dogs out for walks at the dog park and play fetch in the backyard. Bryn is probably the most responsible individual that I know and truly loves and cares about dogs. She would be the perfect pet caregiver.”

Joceline L.
“Jocey is by far the best pet sitter I’ve found in the city. She’s reliable, responsible, and great with my pets. I have three cats (one of whom has intense anxiety, another with special needs) as well as a very fiesty pigeon, and it’s so comforting to know they’re in good hands with Jocey whenever I’m out of town. She’s also very considerate with communication, and respectful of my home which is obviously important. All in all, can’t recommend her enough!”
