About: I’m known to host pups while my friends are out for the evening or for the weekend. I enjoy spending quality time with dogs whether it be lounging or going for a walk! I’m currently working from home and love having a furry companion during my daily walks. I love cuddling up with a dog and watching reality tv on weeknights. The community I live in has a dog park and trails nearby to provide pups with plenty of movement, sunlight, and quality time in and outside the home.
About: I grew up with animals starting out with hamsters and guinea pigs. Currently have a small Bichon Frise dog who always needs love and attention. I love going on walks, especially with a companion:) I am currently a college student taking online classes Monday through Thursday, however, I can be flexible with my schedule so don’t hesitate to reach out to take care of your pets:) I can always make time to help out <3 For my own dog I always make sure she has food and water at all times. Letting her outside whenever she wants in order to get some fresh air and then going on walks with her twice a day is part of our routine. She is not one to play, but still loves being silly and having the zoomies. In those energetic moments I always join her. Then at the end of the day everyone deserves a treat and so does she:)

With years of experience caring for cats, dogs, and even rats, I really understand different personalities and needs. I’m reliable, responsible, and full of playful energy; I make sure your furry family is happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I work typically 3-7 Friday through Tuesday at my barista job, so I’m available all other times for walks, playtime, or visits. also willing to go before and after work to make sure your loved one is cared for in the best way possible! I’m not a “guesser”, I’ll always ask you a question if I’m unsure of how you’d care for your pet in a certain situation. I enjoy keeping pet parents updated with photos or messages throughout the day, so you can be confident your furry friends are happy, safe, and well cared for. My flexible schedule allows me to adapt to each pet’s routine and make sure they feel loved and comfortable while you’re away.
“Megan has been wonderful!! We just adopted our new puppy and she has been great with walking him everyday for us. She sends daily reports and we love seeing the pictures she takes. Always so responsive and takes exceptional care of our new family member. We would highly recommend her to anyone in the area that is looking for someone to care for your dog just as you would.”

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs since I was little and have loved every second. I was always helping out my family’s and neighbor’s pets - and now I finally got my own puppy in August of 2025. Trained him all on my own and he is the sweetest boy! I work at a kindergarten with special education during the school year. Once June hits, I will be officially out for summer break and plan on focusing all my attention on Rover. I will have all the time on my hands to drop in and take care of your pets! My 10 month old dachshund is very well taken care of. He is my pride and joy - always getting all the cuddles and exercise he needs. I believe that all pets require the same love and attention that humans do and I treat them with that idea in mind.

About: I love dogs of all shapes and sizes! I had two labs growing up and another lab in my early twenties who I still grieve for today. I currently have no dogs of my own so I pour all my love into my friend’s dogs. The dog I had my twenties had behavioral issues and required patience and understanding in a short amount of time he went from being withdrawn and antisocial to a complete love bug! I’m unemployed but I take care of my disabled mom. Because of this I have a very flexible schedule. I have always loved dogs and miss having one of my own. I’m always excited to spend time with my friend’s dogs. I don’t plan on boarding any dogs at my own home. With how my mom’s health is now it wouldn’t be a good idea to do so.

About: I’ve been caring for, training, and owning dogs nearly my whole life starting from childhood to now fostering/watching for friends and family. I’ve also had experience working professionally as a pet sitter. Whether your pup is large or small I’ll care for them as if they were my own and bring all the playful energy as a young adult to provide a fun experience during my time with them. I currently work remotely and have increased flexibility for scheduling needs. Although I will need to primarily be at home during my working hours I am able to ensure your pets are taken care of in a timely fashion without being left for too long without potty breaks. Your boundaries for your animals whether they be rules or practices in your personal home will be closely followed and respected. I bring my years of pet experience to ensure their safety is my top priority when staying with them overnight or providing daily care along with giving them the company they’ll need while you are away.

About: Hi! I’m Delaney and I hope to be your new pet sitter. I’ve been caring for cats, dogs, and other animals since I was young. I have volunteered at animal shelters, fostered kittens, and pet sat for friends/family. I have a disabled cat myself, so I’m used to providing specialized care. I grew up with pets that needed daily medication, so I feel confident in that skill as well. Looking forward to caring for your babies as if they were my own! I work part-time so I have plenty of free time to spend with your pets. I can drop in twice a day or more, depending on my schedule and what you’re looking for. Caring for your pets is a huge responsibility and I assure you that I will prioritize them as my own. You can trust that I will treat your pets as my own. I will spend as much time loving on them as they are comfortable with, but if they are shy or territorial to a stranger in their space, I will respect that too. I will keep everything tidy when it comes to your pet. Nobody wants to come home to a stinky house!
“Ally came to my rescue! I am down with the flu and no way I could walk Gavin, and he needs his walk every day. She came last minute yesterday and again today, Gavin looked forward to seeing Ally today again😊. Thanks, Ally!!”

About: I currently own three dogs, and have had at least one dog for around 7 years. I have also taken care of pets for family friends and neighbors since even before that. I frequently take my dogs for walks, and I have no allergies to any dog or cat breeds. I am looking to get a summer position so be aware that this could change but currently I am very free and flexible just about whenever you need me. I'm able to take your dogs for plenty of walks and give them plenty of playtime as necessary. Ideally I would prefer to care for your pets in your home, but I can also do in my house if desired. I have 3 dogs that could keep yours company, and they are very sweet as well as decently small. I also have a fully fenced backyard to play in and a spare crate if necessary, although it is only big enough to hold a pet of around 15 pounds or so.

About: I have a half acre of fenced in yard for dogs to run and play. I’ve had pets in my family my whole life: always dogs, a few cats over the years, a house rabbit, hamsters, ducks, fish, lizards, turtles - so many lovely creatures! I’ve worked with rescues and shelters and have taken care of elderly dogs at the end of their lifespan administering medications orally, injections, and topically. For my other job I do freelance graphic design from home and make my own schedule, so I’m very flexible with my schedule. When pet sitting at my home your pet will have my company throughout the day. I offer check ins, feeding, walking, playing, cleaning up after all pets and livestock at their home. I board dogs and caged pets overnight or for multiple days at my home where dogs have access to a fenced yard at any time of the day, full time supervision, and cozy accommodations.
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds — playful pups, mellow seniors, and everything in between. My experience started with helping my sister care for her dogs, and over the years, I’ve walked, fed, and looked after dogs for friends, neighbors, and family. I’m patient, gentle, and attentive to each dog’s personality and needs. I have a quiet home and a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely explore, relax, and enjoy the fresh air. With me, your dog will be loved, understood, and truly cared for — just like they deserve. I mostly work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pup throughout the day. I’m available for daytime check-ins, boarding, and doggy stays at my place. I can also pick up and drop off your dog if needed — making things easier for you. Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or a cozy place to stay while you’re away, I’m here and happy to help. I offer a calm and loving environment with a fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and relax. I’m attentive to each dog’s personality and routine, whether they need space or lots of cuddles. I can easily crate your dog if that’s part of their routine. My goal is always to make your dog feel secure, understood, and cared for — just like they would at home.
“Natalie was great! She walked Robbie for one hour when I had a long day at work and took pictures and gave him water. Highly recommend Natalie! She is very easy to work with and took good care of my pup”

About: I’ve had animals my entire life and it’s truly my passion, everyone I know trusts me with their furrbabies! I treat every pet like my own, i’m attentive and patient, and my main priority is making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable! I am a high schooler in online school, a month away from graduating. About: I am a retired high school educator, artist, outdoor enthusiast, and animal lover. I am a five-star walker and a very reliable and compassionate caregiver for your pet. I often feel we are kindred spirits and I am totally intrigued by their individual personalities. I have cared for dogs both personally or professionally for most of my life and willingly care for your pet and their individual needs. Whether it be exploring adventure, padding the neighborhood (walking or running), gifting belly rubs, or providing hydration & nutrition, your pet’s needs will be personalized while in my care with much love and affection. In the future, I hope to rehabilitate dogs and work with their family members to provide a safe space filled with discipline, affection, and a true sense of belonging. You can depend on me and trust that your pet will feel cherished and loved while in my care. Since retiring from teaching, my hours of 1:1 attention have expanded. I am now available to give full weekday hours to your pet in addition to my time during weekends. While caring for pets in parks and neighborhoods, I keep them on a leash during all walks and runs. If we are lounging in the yard I provide the dog an opportunity to relax on a lead while I am outdoors with them. For owners who allow their dogs to visit Lakewood Dog Park’s expansive exercise area, I monitor those dogs while they run and play off leash under my constant supervision. While indoors, I follow the rules that my pet owners prefer whether it be cuddling on furniture and slumbering in bed with me or crating them within their cozy caves with their favorite snuggle toy. I do everything I can to mirror the eating, playing, and napping comfort with the same positive experiences your pet receives in your living home while throwing in a little extra spoiling 🐶❤️🐶
“This was my first experience with River and I must say it was great. The entire process was easy and seamless. Bill was awesome with the dogs. Riggs and Gibson came back content and obviously exercised. Thanks so much for your help today while I recover from my foot ailment.”

We booked Allegra for a house sitting service and dog walking service. She was absolutely wonderful! She took fantastic care of our little diva, Francie, and was incredibly responsible and self-sufficient throughout her stay. She left our home immaculate. Honestly, it was like she was never even there! We would definitely hire her again for future house sitting.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Williams Park. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Williams Park.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. - 93% of walkers can help with special care needs

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
