“This was my first time leaving my 6 month old puppy. Carla made the whole process very easy and pleasant. We first did a meet and greet. I knew right then and there that the reviews I had been reading were spot on. I loved the idea that my puppy was going to be with other dogs. Perfect for socializing him. I also was appreciative that my pup was in a familiar situation as home. Carla texted me everyday with videos. Which made this whole experience easier for myself. Don’t hesitate on using Carla as she really is that great!!”

I felt completely comfortable knowing she was safe, happy, and enjoying time playing in his fenced backyard. You can truly tell he loves animals and treats them like family. “Thank you Judy for an outstanding experience for our beloved dog and for all of us. Your love and caring for Tesla was so wonderful. You communicated twice a day with pictures and updates and they were detailed and reassuring. We really looked forward to our mini chats. Your responsiveness was also great. We knew we could reach you at any time, not that we needed to 😊. You also provided a safe and happy environment for him and he loved being in your home. He was a truly contented pup while he was with you. Words cannot express how grateful we are to you, for providing a home away from home for our dog. Thanks also for grooming him and keeping him in a tip top condition. We cannot say enough about the wonderful service and care you provided. We enjoyed our vacation so much more knowing he was in the best care we could have arranged for him. Thanks again and any dog is lucky to have a home with you while their owners need to be away. We certainly were. I cannot recommend you enough. You are truly the best!!!! 🐕💕🙏🥰”

“Christine is an excellent sitter, and I look forward to booking her again. My dog, Bentley, is my world and this was the first time, he was going to stay with a non-relative. I was nervous how he would do, but after returning from my vacay, I brought home a happy & healthy dog. His overall demeanor was enough for me to know that he was well taken care of and looked after. Also, Christine’s dog, Chloe is a sweet gentle gal, and it was easy for Bentley who has only-child syndrome to get along with her.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs most of my life and wouldn’t have it any other way. My spouse and I absolutely love animals and taking care of furry pets that need a place to stay. We have two dogs of our own, Meringue (8 pounds, a Coton) and Moose (12 pounds, a Pekingese mix) We have taken care of dogs for friends, families, and have also fostered dogs. We believe and understand that dogs are family members and trusting them with others is a big decision. We treat our boarding experience the way we would like to receive it for our pups. We do this by providing consistent communication and updates to you (how are they’re acclimating, eating/drinking, playful, on their potty schedules, etc) and being responsive to questions. The ideal boarding situation would keeping your pups normal routines in place, just in a different setting so it doesn’t throw off their schedules completely. We strive for consistency for your furry family members in a happy, safe, and vacation like setting for them. *Note - we are accepting small to medium dogs only at this time. Max 30 pounds. Both my spouse and I work from home. We are able to accommodate and ensure the dogs are taken care of and kept to schedule. We take safety very seriously. We will not walk more than 2-3 dogs at a time. We have puppy gates and areas for them that are safe and can provide them room to roam and play. When they are outside we keep them on leash and have a watchful eye to ensure their safety.

About: Hi! I’m Delaney and I hope to be your new pet sitter. I’ve been caring for cats, dogs, and other animals since I was young. I have volunteered at animal shelters, fostered kittens, and pet sat for friends/family. I have a disabled cat myself, so I’m used to providing specialized care. I grew up with pets that needed daily medication, so I feel confident in that skill as well. Looking forward to caring for your babies as if they were my own! Caring for your pets is a huge responsibility and I assure you that I will prioritize them as my own. You can trust that I will treat your pets as my own. I will spend as much time loving on them as they are comfortable with, but if they are shy or territorial to a stranger in their space, I will respect that too. I will keep everything tidy when it comes to your pet. Nobody wants to come home to a stinky house!

About: I am a retired high school educator, artist, outdoor enthusiast, and animal lover. I am a five-star walker and a very reliable and compassionate caregiver for your pet. I often feel we are kindred spirits and I am totally intrigued by their individual personalities. I have cared for dogs both personally or professionally for most of my life and willingly care for your pet and their individual needs. Whether it be exploring adventure, padding the neighborhood (walking or running), gifting belly rubs, or providing hydration & nutrition, your pet’s needs will be personalized while in my care with much love and affection. In the future, I hope to rehabilitate dogs and work with their family members to provide a safe space filled with discipline, affection, and a true sense of belonging. You can depend on me and trust that your pet will feel cherished and loved while in my care. Since retiring from teaching, my hours of 1:1 attention have expanded. I am now available to give full weekday hours to your pet in addition to my time during weekends. While caring for pets in parks and neighborhoods, I keep them on a leash during all walks and runs. If we are lounging in the yard I provide the dog an opportunity to relax on a lead while I am outdoors with them. For owners who allow their dogs to visit Lakewood Dog Park’s expansive exercise area, I monitor those dogs while they run and play off leash under my constant supervision. While indoors, I follow the rules that my pet owners prefer whether it be cuddling on furniture and slumbering in bed with me or crating them within their cozy caves with their favorite snuggle toy. I do everything I can to mirror the eating, playing, and napping comfort with the same positive experiences your pet receives in your living home while throwing in a little extra spoiling 🐶❤️🐶

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was 14, and they are part of my love language! I've taken care of and have had a wide variety of pets, dog sizes, and different medical needs. Part of my life's calling is to be with animals and give them all the love. We live on a 7-acre farmette, with land to roam and play, and forest as well. We have a barn that houses 23 free range chickens and ducks. These are also my pets who I love dearly. I have 2 cats, a brother and sister names George and Lucy who are total love bugs. My daughter Teagan is almost 6, and has been around animals since she was a baby. I am currently working full time, 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday. I work remotely from my house on Fridays. I am off on Saturday and Sunday all day. We live on a 7-acre farm in a two-story house with privacy. Our house has plenty of room to accommodate different dog sizes. Our acreage also provides plenty of room for dogs to run and play!

Love going on walks to the forest preserves out in nature. let me be your dogs new friend. I work four days a week Tuesday thru Friday until 3:30pm. I'm available for boarding Friday nights thru Monday. I can take dogs for walks on Mondays, Weekends, and Tuesday-Friday after 4. I have a big home plenty of space to run around and play. My backyard is good size and fenced in. I can update you with photos of your dog. I can maintain the feeding schedule as required. I will make sure your dog has plenty outdoor time walks or just playing in my yard.

“Dorothy is amazing and we couldn’t recommend her enough. She took the time to get to know my pup and her needs, and sent many updates while we were away. We are happy to have found someone we trust so much!”

“Megan took wonderful care of my 8‑month‑old golden retriever during his very first 5‑day boarding stay. She kept me updated every day with pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. He was clearly happy, safe, and well cared for. I’m very happy with her service and will definitely recommend her and book with her again.”

“She was great! We got daily updates with photos and videos of our dog playing and running outside. She was very nice and kept in contact which we appreciated. Our dog, Mona, seemed satisfied too :)”

“We would highly recommend Shalyn and Joe to anyone looking to have their dog looked after. They responded promptly to any concerns we had and we received daily photos and updates on how our Pixie was doing.”

“We had another wonderful experience with Kelly. Charlie stayed with her and her pups for the weekend-and it just happened to be Charlies 3rd Birthday. She went above and beyond celebrating him with homemade dog-friendly cupcakes, which was so thoughtful and adorable. It gave us such peace of mind that he was not only looked after but truly cared for. Once again he came home happy, healthy and relaxed. We are very grateful for the extra effort Kelly put in to make his Birthday special!! Highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Edwin and his wife were amazing! It was our puppy’s first time being boarded while we were away, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The home is so lovely, with a nice fenced yard for playtime. We got many pics and videos of our pup, who had a great time at Edwin’s. Thank you!”

“Carisa did a wonderful job. She took really good care of my dog Simba. She was really attentive, and everything went off without a hitch. I could tell Simba was comfortable and happy, and it just gave me so much peace of mind. Overall, I’m really grateful for how smoothly it all went.” I would highly recommend her.”
