About: I have had dogs, cats and pets of all types since childhood. Often referred to as “The chosen one” in my own home because of my relationship with our dog and cat. I am frequently asked to look after our neighbors dogs. Experienced at administering injections and IV fluids as well. I am recently retired and find myself with far more free time. About: I ❤️cats! I will check in on them, feed them, clean up after them, play with them, cuddle with them, give them medicine, but I can’t take them home anymore or spend the night, unfortunately. I fostered a beautiful black cat named Ping through the covid shutdown and found that fighting allergies 24/7 was too much, but a simple Claritin allows me to still enjoy their company (at their residence) during the day.

About: I've been watching dogs for family and family friends for 15 years now, before I could drive myself. I've watched many dogs with special raw Diets, and dogs that have needed insulin shots. I have never encountered a scenario I couldn't handle. I'm working full-time, but have great hours, and would spend most of my time with the animals. I'm around and available all weekends. My wife and I spend most of our time home on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and 3 dogs of my own. All of which are really friendly. We often have family member's pets over to visit. I also stay at others homes, as that is normally where animals are most familiar and feel the most safe!

When we picked Tipper up she had all her things packed up and ready to go. We appreciated that because we were tired from our trip. We were also pleased that Tipper was tired too. This tells us she was given lots of attention and activity during her stay at Joanne’s. Tipper spent the afternoon and evening napping as we did too. We have already mentioned to Joanne that we’d like to use her again this summer. We highly recommend her as a great dog sitter!”
“This is our repeat boarding with our delightful and energetic pup. Carolyn took care of River very well and took a lot of outdoor walks with her. Her home set-up and location close to a forest preserve, nature path and pond, are perfect, as River loves the outdoors. We feel reassured leaving our dog with Carolyn as it is somehow a treat and a home away from home for River.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. Watching family and friends dogs gives me great joy! Dogs have been a part of my whole life. I love them dearly, my sister in law travels quite often which gives me the opportunity to watch her two dogs. One is a puppy full of energy and they are so fun to spend time with and play. Love going on walks to the forest preserves out in nature. let me be your dogs new friend. I work four days a week Tuesday thru Friday until 3:30pm. I'm available for boarding Friday nights thru Monday. I can take dogs for walks on Mondays, Weekends, and Tuesday-Friday after 4. I have a big home plenty of space to run around and play. My backyard is good size and fenced in. I can update you with photos of your dog. I can maintain the feeding schedule as required. I will make sure your dog has plenty outdoor time walks or just playing in my yard.
“Thanks to Rusty, I was at ease traveling for a few days with the dogs in his care. Rusty has a dog-friendly space indoors and out and was attentive to the dogs’ individual personality traits and needs. This was the first time I’ve left them with a sitter and both dogs responded well and appeared comfortable. It’s a huge relief to know that Rusty is available to care for my dogs if I need to be away.”
