About: I’ve had animals my entire life and it’s truly my passion, everyone I know trusts me with their furrbabies! I’ve had dogs (great dane and boston terriers), cats, fish, tortoise, and a bearded dragon. I treat every pet like my own, i’m attentive and patient, and my main priority is making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable! I am a high schooler in online school, a month away from graduating. I also don’t currently have a job, so I am available daily! I prefer to work in the morning. I have plenty of experience with taking care of animals. About: I have worked as a pet boarder and sitter on Rover for about a year. Having previously worked as a certified nursing assistant, I have experience as a caregiver, and one of my greatest passions is caring for pets. Dogs and cats are members of a family, and it is so important to care for them as you would any other family member. I have several years of experience boarding dogs for their owners when they have been on vacation, and have also cared for my own animals throughout my whole life. I also have experience as an animal transporter for West Hancock canine rescue, in which I would work with a team to take dogs and cats from high kill shelters to foster homes or rescues. I also have a wonderful dog I rescued, Ollie, who is friendly and likes to play with other dogs at times. I’m working part-time so have time to play with pups! And our family loves animals, so it’s a great fit for us to pet sit, and we like providing a home environment for owners who need to travel. I provide a calm, safe and fun environment for pets to play. Provide walks and let pets out regularly. I believe it’s important to attend to all feeding and medication needs as a high priority.

About: I have lived with and played with dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a German Shepard, and later on, two cats. I started caring for dogs as an adult in 2023. I have experience pet sitting, dog walking, and playing with dogs and cats. I have a love for animals all shapes and sizes, and will make your pets' needs a top priority. I'm currently home from school. I work a part time job as a server on weekday nights. I also have a remote class Tuesday afternoons. I'm available any time outside of that range to care for your pets! I'm flexible when it comes to scheduling, and willing to accommodate to whatever is best for you. When caring for other people's pets, I make sure to send frequent check-ins, photos, and questions to the owner. If needed, I have my own car in case of any vet trips/emergencies.

About: I am a mom to humans and many pets. Many friends rely on me to dog and cat sit, and now can ask my daughters as well. I have trained them well! I work part time and have a flexible schedule as well. Most weekends and evenings I am available. I also have very reliable transportation for arriving when needed. About: I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs since I was little and have loved every second. I was always helping out my family’s and neighbor’s pets - and now I finally got my own puppy in August of 2025. Trained him all on my own and he is the sweetest boy! I work at a kindergarten with special education during the school year. Once June hits, I will be officially out for summer break and plan on focusing all my attention on Rover. My schedule varies throughout the week, but I have dedicated availability to provide dependable pet care. As an experienced house manager, I understand the importance of routines, communication, and creating a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping your pet company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Building trust with both you and your pet is my top priority. I believe every animal deserves patience, kindness, and the chance to get comfortable at their own pace. At home, I greet our cat Kiki like family and I’m convinced one day he’ll talk back! I bring that same energy to every pet I care for, including Bear, a playful pit bull I see regularly. About: As an adult I've had dogs for 25 years and counting. I've also volunteered at various shelters, and I am currently a volunteer for beagle rescue group where I foster and transport dogs as well as complete the home visits for potential adopters. I substitute teach and make my own schedule, so I have flexibility and availability for taking care of your pets. I love to walk dogs in all weather, and I am available for overnights with dogs as needed. I know that there is less stress for dogs and for owners if the dog can stay in a familiar setting which is why I have used rover myself in the past for vacations.

About: My husband Ian and I have over 10+ years of pet sitting and dog walking experience. We both are comfortable with animals that require more medical treatment or attention. My husband Ian and I split up our bookings between the two of us typically or share the responsibilities. My husband Ian works M-F 7:30am to 4pm and I recently transitioned to working from home. We have a fenced in yard with two pups at home ourselves to keep your furry friend(s) entertained. We do offer you to bring their crate for sleeping to make them feel more comfortable, but typically we just have them set up in our living room to feel most comfortable. We are flexible!

“Deidre was AMAZING with my with two pups and can’t RECOMMEND her enough! Unfortunately, one of my dogs became very ill before I left for vacation and required extensive, round the clock care. Deirdre was able to administer all of the medications, stick to the strict food regimen, come by every 2 hours to check in, and even cleaned up all of the accidents from my sick pup. :/ She kept me updated throughout the trip with texts and pictures, asked questions when needed, and when my other dog sitter fell through at last minute, she was able to rearrange her schedule to cover. Overall, I am very grateful for her help and it truly put my mind at ease knowing Deirdre could be there to take care of them! Thank you again!”

About: My dogs were my life! I cooked for them. Researched how to care and feed them. Walked them all the time. Gave them so much love. Retired teacher and both of my dogs have now crossed the rainbow bridge so my heart is crushed. I babysit my grandchildren two days per week. Then I am available! I love dogs! I would make them feel comfortable with me. I will play with them, walk them, talk to them, feed them, and follow their parents directions of care.

About: I have worked in Veterinary medicine for over 14 years. I started out as a kennel attandant and worked by way up to become an uncertified veterinarty technicican. I started pet sitting when I was in high school for my neighbors and have done it part-time ever since. I have experience with all sorts of dog and cat behaviors. I am flexible and can accommodate for most things. I do work 4 10 hr shift right now. I am available in the early AM and late PM. I do have weekends off right now as well. Depending on the location, I can stop in on my lunch breaks if it isn't too far from my work. I will be able to do anything a pet owner asks of me. I think it is good to keep the pet's routine as close to their norm as possible when their owners are away. This helps limits the stress for the pets.

About: Hello, I am a work from home Dad with my wife and 2 children at home. I will be the primary care taker but my kids will love playing with your furry friends as well. All sizes and breeds welcome. We will all care for your loved one. There is a local dog park nearby as well as many trails and forest preserve land. I have had dogs my entire life and enjoy interacting with new dogs of all size and breed. My kids love dogs and will play with your dog like it is their own.
