About: I have always loved animals and during my middle school years up until now (18) have been pet sitting and dog walking for family and friends. I am extremely experienced and have not only taken care of dogs and cats but also fish, rodents, and reptiles. I have owned guinea pigs and fish in the past and I currently have three lovely cats. I will be sure to leave you and your pet happy at the end of my service! My schedule is very open and flexible. I am also willing to wake up early for your pet if needed. I am often available on holidays and weekends as well. I spend time with the pet both indoors and outdoors to make sure that your pet gets their energy out while outside and the loving in while inside. I make sure to keep your pet safe and healthy while your out so you don't have to worry about your fur baby for a second.

About: Have taken care of dogs since I was young. Neighbors and family friends alike. I’ve also always had a dog since I was younger as well. Pet care is a part of my daily life since I have my own dog and help with my sisters. Dogs can’t talk so sticking to a routine helps them out. I’ve taking care of both small and bigger dogs so the level of care and exercise varies. I’ve taken care of dogs who need to take meds and not exercise too much as to not hurt themselves. Along with active farm type of dogs who have needed an hour or two walk.

I live in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood in a ground-floor apartment, which is ideal for dogs since there are no steep stairs or elevator rides to navigate. We also have a securely gated balcony where your pup can safely enjoy some fresh air and watch the world go by. I keep my home dog-proofed, free of hazards, and calm so every guest feels comfortable and secure. While I am the one providing your dog's care, my husband works from home, so there is almost always someone in the home as well. During walks, I always keep dogs securely on a leash, stay aware of our surroundings, and prioritize their safety at all times. I am home nearly around the clock, and committed full time to giving great care and attention to my highly -valued dog guests. I have spent decades frequenting the lake county dog parks; studying their behaviors and interactions with other dogs and with people, which has been an invaluable learning experience for me. I have a very laid back and easy-going approach and style that I have had great success with in relating to and connecting with dogs and their pet parents. I am very tuned in to their body language, and very adept at reading their emotions. My home is on a 1/2 acre fenced in wooded lot with a cabin like interior and country atmosphere that is both welcoming , safe, and fun for my dog guests, and I make it a top priority to treat your dogs like family. I also have lake access with a private beach if your dog(s) like to swim. I frequent the lake county dog parks and would love to take your dogs along if that is something you are comfortable with. I am very flexible - and typically available 7 days per week. I am available nights, weekends, and holidays. Ideally allow for two days advance notice. Safety is my top priority. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in lot, and a very warm and comfortable dog friendly home, that was once a summer cottage close to Round Lake. I am on a quiet dead end road which is very safe for walks, as well as freedom to roam the yard. My goal is to customize my services to meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be. I will treat your pets as I do my own- like family- lots of fun, exercise and plenty of TLC.

About: I have taken care of animals for over 25 years. I work as a pet sitter with another company and have many repeat clients. For many years I also took care of my neighbor’s dogs when they traveled and had my own dog for 7 years. I currently have 2 cats. I have volunteered with Save-a-Pet, a no-kill animal shelter in Lake County. I’m currently a pet sitter part time, so have lots of time to take care of your pets! My schedule varies from week to week but I am pretty flexible when it comes to drop-in times and visits. I am not able to support boarding at this time but do offer overnight visits. I can offer drop-in and overnight visits for your pet! Please select which option works best for you. I currently have 2 cats and cannot board any pets at this time.
