About: I have taken care of animals for over 25 years. I work as a pet sitter with another company and have many repeat clients. For many years I also took care of my neighbor’s dogs when they traveled and had my own dog for 7 years. I currently have 2 cats. I have volunteered with Save-a-Pet, a no-kill animal shelter in Lake County. I’m currently a pet sitter part time, so have lots of time to take care of your pets! My schedule varies from week to week but I am pretty flexible when it comes to drop-in times and visits. I am not able to support boarding at this time but do offer overnight visits. “Deidre was AMAZING with my with two pups and can’t RECOMMEND her enough! Unfortunately, one of my dogs became very ill before I left for vacation and required extensive, round the clock care. Deirdre was able to administer all of the medications, stick to the strict food regimen, come by every 2 hours to check in, and even cleaned up all of the accidents from my sick pup. :/ She kept me updated throughout the trip with texts and pictures, asked questions when needed, and when my other dog sitter fell through at last minute, she was able to rearrange her schedule to cover.
