About: Most of my experience was from growing up with my cockapoo Casey. He made me realize how much I enjoyed the company of dogs, and it made me more than happy to help family and friends with looking after their own pets when they would be away. I always want to make sure they're kept loved and appreciated and would do my best to make it feel like their routine is the same as it always is. Since I currently have a part-time job from home, I have the flexibility to take care of pets during the day for any food or potty breaks, as well as availability during the afternoon and evening to give dogs the love and attention they need. I live in a home without a fence, however we live in a neighborhood that makes for easy walking. There is also space indoors for dogs to run around and play with toys, which my previous cockapoo would do all the time.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. I have been the go to for friends and family members when they travel because I have had such a flexible schedule during my career. I am now retired so I can spoil your fur baby 24/7. I have experience with my "nephew" a very large male german shepard all the way down to my soul dog, 8 lb Ellie Mae and everything in between. Multiple dogs is not an issue either. I have watched up to three dogs all with different schedules and needs. I will also leave your house as clean if not cleaner than when you left. I would consider it an honor for you to trust me with both. I have been retired for five years which means I will only be focusing on your dogs happiness and safety. I have been busy on the trusted housesitters site for over a year and have travelled the US visiting friends and family and falling in love with many dogs and taking care of some great homes. I have plenty of references available for you as I transition to this platform. I currently don't have any animals so I'm able to give yours my undivided attention I will take your lead, and the dogs, as to what you require. I love to walk for miles, I love to be outdoors and play fetch and I also appreciate a good chill on the couch. If you dog likes to ride in the car we can go get a pup cup and stick our head out the window. Whatever rules, requirements or special needs your fur baby requires I am able to provide. I will never be gone more that four hours at an absolute maximum and that would be a rarity just depending if I am in a new area and want to explore a little. If it is local to this Chicago/Northern IL area been there/done that.

With little notice, he came to our house for a first meeting and then started the next day for a overnight sitting service for five days. Our senior dog is always afraid of new people but Ke'vin sent videos of her and it's clear she warmed up quickly to him and really liked him. He gave her meds with no issue. “If you are looking for someone to stay in your home and give lots of love and care for your pet, Jillian is just wonderful and I would highly recommend!! What was unique about Jillian is that she stayed in our home the entire time. She followed all of my instructions, provided daily updates and pictures and when she left, she washed the linens and the home was clean and tidy. She may not be able to provide the fast, active walk with your pet, but she is fully capable to walk and play with your pet. I ended up booking another dog walker separately for a more active walk. This arrangement worked perfectly for me and worth the additional cost, as I would rather have my dog be with a loving sitter in my home where my dog was not left alone than having more dog walks. I will definitely be booking Jillian again! She was a joy to work with and I know she made my dog feel safe and loved. Thank you.”

This was our first time using Rover and we could not have been more lucky to find Hailey! Hailey is very responsive, provided clear communication, and many awesome updates, including pictures and videos, while we were out of town. Our dog is 13 with many health issues so we are very hesitant to leave him with anyone other than family, but as soon as we met Hailey there was an immediate sense of comfort and relief knowing he was going to be in great hands in the comfort of his own home. Jo stayed with our nervous, reactive dog Luna for a full week. Jo came over to house multiple times prior to the trip so Luna could get comfortable with her. Jo has a great calm nature about her.
