Hi! I’m Jessica, a lifelong dog lover - I’ve grown up with dogs since I was 10 🐶 While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I get my dog fix by fostering and volunteering with Second City Canine Rescue as an adoption event handler and foster babysitter. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and comfort levels. I'm comfortable with anxious or high-attachment dogs, senior dog care, and medication administration. I’m happy to welcome your pup into my home or stay with them in theirs. I’ll treat your dog like family and keep you updated with lots of pictures along the way!

Jessica has been phenomenal at caring for Luna. My little dog is sassy, particular and Jessica made sure she felt safe and right at home. She took the time to learn Luna’s routine, treated her with so much care, and even let her sleep in her bed. I highly recommend her for overnight care. She stepped in on short notice on a weekend I really needed the support asked all the right question to prepare and make her feel safe, comfortable, and at home. Luna was well cared and happy when I returned. She’s reliable, trustworthy, and a natural with dogs; perfect for anyone looking for attentive, high quality pet care.

Schedule
I’m available on weekends for boarding and house sitting and can typically extend this until Monday/Tuesday, when needed. My full time job allows for a lot of flexibility and I am able to stick to a pet’s normal routine.

I care for every pet as if they were my own. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routines, and any special needs. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and a calm environment where they feel safe and comfortable. In a client’s home, I respect their space and keep everything clean and organized. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel confident their pet is happy and well cared for.
A typical day
Every pet has their own personality — some love high-energy play, others just want quiet companionship. I'Il follow their lead and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away. I'll be sure to offer playtime, walks, cuddles & comfort: calm downtime, belly rubs, and snuggles for reassurance. My goal is to create a safe, grounded environment where your dog feels secure, cared for, and as comfortable as possible while you're away. I intentionally structure my schedule to provide a strong in-home presence during stays and work remotely on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, allowing for added flexibility and attentiveness.

- To ensure a tail-wagging good time, please be sure to let me know in advance your pet's particular needs and preferences, as well as routines to follow. I'll be sure to provide regular communication and photo updates. For first-time clients, a meet-and-greet is required to ensure we are a good fit.
